It is the best place to take a panoramic view of Dogo Onsen Main Building. It is very beautiful when the lights are on at night. There is also an outdoor footbath in the observatory. Of course, in summer, it is already hot, and the footbath is even hotter. There is also a Yujin Shrine above the observatory. You can visit it if you have time.
There is a high platform behind Dogo Onsen, and the steps up to show that it is an aerial promenade. In fact, there is a parking lot above this. Tourists who come by car can park their cars here and then come to the railings of the platform to overlook the entire Dogo Hot Spring. What makes people feel wonderful is that there is also a foot bath here. You can see the beauty of Dogo Onsen while sitting down and soaking your feet. The temperature of the footbath is 41 degrees all year round, which is the same source of water as Dogo Onsen.
