Todai-ji Namdaimon (Grand South Gate)

The South Gate is a gate in the East Great Temple area, which looks like a particularly old gate, and many tourists come and go. There are some statues similar to the gate god, and the color of the wooden components is already very deep.

To visit the famous Nara Todaji Temple, you will be shocked by its main entrance - the magnificent South Gate. Todaji Temple has been damaged and rebuilt several times. Built in 1199 (Kamakura period in Japan), the South Gate is the oldest of the existing buildings in Todaji Temple. The south gate, about 50 meters wide and about 25 meters high, is the largest temple mountain gate in Japan, with 18 Optimus columns, supporting two floors of five three-entry wooden structures, telling the historical changes and vicissitudes with strong visual impact. The flocks of deer inside and outside the gate, the gait of the welcome, the cute state of the grabbing food, inject some fresh fun into the strong sense of vicissitudes.

The temples of all wooden buildings, plus red leaves and deer, are very spectacular.
