White Tigers
Original Text
It is near the entrance of Sapporo Daiichi Hotel. He was the only survivor who went to the front as a white tiger soldier during the Boshin War. After the Meiji Restoration, he became a telegraph engineer and worked at the Horo Post Office. I found him worthy of being a witness to history.
The only survivor of the White Tigers lived there.

A stone monument in front of Sapporo Daiichi Hotel near Toyosu Susukino Station on the Sapporo Municipal Subway Higashi Toyo Line. Sadayoshi Iinuma, who survived the Hakutotai, entered the Ministry of Communications and came to Japan in 1873 as the director of the construction division of the Sapporo Post Office of the Ministry of Communications. In Sapporo, he made efforts to develop a communication network connecting major cities in Hokkaido. A stone monument is built in the place where the residence where I lived in Sapporo was located, and the origin is written on the back.
