A shipyard where you can see the old giant crane from the road while it is in operation.

When going to the Exhibition Sea Peak Observatory, when passing through the Sasebo SSK bypass, there is a parking space and information board beside this road. The former Sasebo Naval Arsenal 7th Sewer, a Japanese heritage site, is it big when you look at it a little, but it looks old and broken? The crane was in operation. The large crane was moving about 4 at a time. Even if it's not a child, it's an interesting sight. In addition, I was able to see this panoramic view even when the voice of the pass was heard.
From the area around Sasebo Station, there is Ishidake Observatory at the top of the mountain on the opposite bank just across Sasebo Bay. From this observatory, I enjoyed the wonderful view of Kujukushima, but I could also see the town of Sasebo on the other side. This Sasebo Shipyard caught my eye in the town of Sasebo. At the back of Sasebo Bay, the docks were lined up radially, and heavy machinery such as huge crane were also seen. It is an overwhelming scale hall. I'm sure tens of thousands of tons of huge ships made ...
The large docks that are radially lined up are spectacular.

I left the hotel near Sasebo Station and passed by Sasebo Shipyard on the way to Zhankaiho. I saw it from the road that passed right next to it, but the view from the Ishidake Observatory I went after that was amazing. When I passed by, I wasn't sure because it was so large and too close, but I could see the whole picture from the observatory. In particular, the spectacularness of several radially lined docks and the size of heavy machinery such as crane are also masterpieces.
I was able to overlook the dock in the shipyard from the outer road. The "Former Sasebo Naval Arsenal 250-ton Crane" and "Former Sasebo Naval Arsenal 7th Sewer", which are Japanese heritage sites, are also in operation, and it was possible to confirm it on the explanation board.
