"Painting and literature" high bill type explanation board
Original Text
A Kosatsu-type explanation board by Sumida Ward stood adjacent to Iizumi Inari Shrine near Honjo Matsuzakacho Park. It was an explanation board for "Painting and Literature", and it seemed to show the remains of the residence of the person who adopted Katsushika Hokusai.

We will disseminate information about "Kagamishi Nakajima Ise Residence Ruins" in Ryogoku, Sumida Ward. I visited "Kagamishi Nakajima Ise Residence Ruins" on April 20, 2023. To access "Kagamishi Nakajima Ise Residence Ruins", take the east exit of "Ryogoku Station" on the JR Sobu Main Line and proceed to the left. If you go straight for about 70m, there is a pedestrian crossing, so cross it and go to the other side of the road. If you go straight to the left about 90 m, there is "National route 14" (Keiyo Road), and there is a pedestrian crossing right hand, so cross it ...
There is a Kosatsu-type information board that indicates that there was the residence of Ise Nakajima, a Kagamishi, a Shogunate gosai adopted by Katsushika Hokusai. It is right next to the ruins of Kira's residence.
I visited the site of Kira's residence (Honjo Matsuzakacho Park) and found an explanation board standing on the roadside in front of me. Until I got close, I thought it was an explanation of Iizumi Inari, but I was surprised to read it. It was a name I had never heard of, but I was surprised at the content that Katsushika Hokusai might not have been without this person. When I went to the site of Kira's residence, I looked back and went with Iizumi Inari.
I was strolling around the Ryogoku area, visited Honjo Matsuzakacho Park (the site of Kira's residence) and happened to find it near it. After the Ako incident, a piece card that was located around this area, which became Honjo Matsuzaka Town, which was paid to townspeople, was installed on the north side of Iizumi Inari Shrine, and a clear place has not been identified.
