尧头窑是陕西澄城历史上注明的民间瓷窑之一，是我国传统制瓷历史文化的组成部分，对耀州窑有着极为重要的继承、弘扬和发展，丰富了陕西地区的窑口分布，是北方民间瓷窑的典型代表。
