Gaoyiling Scenic Area lies on the border between Qiaokou Town, Suxian District, Chenzhou City and Zixing City, Hunan Province. It is adjacent to Feitian Mountain and connects with Bian River in Yongxing County. It is near Dongjiang Lake, a famous scenic spot. Gaoyiling has mountain forest with picturesque scenery and large areas of forest. It has unique landscape with of bodies of water, red rocks and turquoise lakes.
