Checking out the Temple of Heaven in China felt like going back in time. The beautiful architecture and peaceful park were a welcome escape from the city hustle. Watching locals practice Tai Chi added to the cultural vibe. Climbing up the Circular Mound Altar, I got some awesome views, making me appreciate China's history even more.
MoreThe Temple of Heaven is a unique altar for emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties. Here, people worship the heavens, ask for rain, and pray for a better harvest. It is a famous ancient building in China. The Temple of Heaven is divided into two parts: the Inner Altar and the Outer Altar. Well-known structures such as the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvest and the Echo Wall are located in the Inner Altar. While visiting the Temple of Heaven, tourists get to experience the grand praying ceremony of ancient emperors and observe the ingenious designs such as the Echo Wall and the Triple Sound Stones. The wisdom of the ancient craftsmen will not fail to impress you.

We misunderstood the closing hour at Tiantan so ended up did not get to go inside the tower inside. However, from the inner park, we could still see Tiantan very clearly and could take nice photo. Sunset made Tiantan looks more stunning.
Good-looking is good-looking, it is too big to walk for a long time, the queue is very long, there are many people, it is hot, the inside is not able to enter, only outside to visit, it is good to take the family to see, it feels like a big park built in
I Love the building here. It's very overwhelming looking at the Temple of Heaven. Reasons to Recommend: You've just gotta come here and see it live in front of you. 😍
Thought the temple only has the central structure and allocated 2h for visit. Ended up spending an entire day exploring the entire park facilities, garden and snapping the temple from different angles
went there with my dad for holiday and it was indeed beautiful! less people during that time and it was good for taking pics.
