The Songmen Beach Scenic Area

Songmen Coastal Scenic Area is located in Songmen Town, Wenling City, 29 kilometers away from the urban area, with an area of 15.7 square kilometers and nearly 50 large and small scenic spots. The entire scenic area starts from Jigushan Island in the east, reaches Jiangjia in Diaobang in the south, Fulong Mountain in the west, and Zhidashan Island in the north. It consists of four scenic spots: Shuipungao, Dongxia, Shawok Island and Fulong Mountain. The Shuitunao Scenic Area is named after the high mountains on both sides and the sandy beach in the middle. The sandy beach is delicate and the surrounding cliffs are peculiar in shape. There are carp jumping on the waves, squirrels enjoying food, turtles watching the moon, sharks going out to sea, dolphins playing in the water, Maitreya Buddha and other attractions. The islands and reefs of Shawok Island Scenic Spot are peculiar. There are rough gravel beaches, scorpions lying on reefs, Aojiao out to sea, Yuanyu and other beautiful scenery on the island. Jigushan Island has many cultural relics and legends. The beach under the cave is more than 600 meters long and 70 meters wide, which is pure fine yellow sand. Fulong Mountain Scenic Area has Wenfeng Ancient Pagoda, Liberation Monument, Crane Lake, Guanhaitai and other scenic spots. The scenic area has a mild climate and is an ideal seaside resort.
