Walking around the castle town
Original Text
Do you know "Moriyoshi Inari Shrine"? It is a shrine in Naiki, Fukuchiyama City. Today, I was taking a walk around the castle town of Fukuchiyama, and stopped by on the way from Teramachi to the south and through Shinmachi Shopping Street to Fukuchiyama Castle. Although it is a small shrine, it has a vermilion torii gate like Inari Shrine. Looking at the piece tag, there is a map of the castle town, now and then, and according to it, it seems that samurai residences were lined up in this area, and it seems that it was difficult to take flood control measures. It seems to be a temple loved by the region.
It is a prayer as part of a series of shrine visits in Fukuchiyama city. The creator here is unknown. The deity is Kurana Tamashimi. It is said that it was in the late Taisho Period that it moved to its current location, so it is very recently. It seems that Kaji Town took over the place where it was enshrined in the castle's Mibori as "God of Fire". The address of the enshrined place is "Naiki", which is adjacent, but it is said that Kaji Town on the north side is in charge of management. There is no fox, which is the standard of Inari Jinja shrine, and there is a guardian dog instead.
