厘金局始建于咸丰五年(1855年),系一栋单进三开间木质穿斗式建筑,占地面积约330平方米,建筑面积620平方米。是清朝政府在洪江设立的税收机构。厘金局收取“厘金税”,又叫“厘捐”,是清政府对通过国内水、陆要道的货物设立关卡征收的捐税。睡恣@M丶

Lijin Bureau, also known as "li donation" or "lijin tax", is a kind of tax levied by the Qing government on the establishment of checkpoints for goods passing through domestic water and land routes. Lijin Bureau was built in the fifth year of Xianfeng (1855). It was a taxation agency established by the Qing Dynasty government in Hongjiang. Lijin Bureau is now a national key cultural relics protection unit.
