Lijin Bureau, also known as "li donation" or "lijin tax", is a kind of tax levied by the Qing government on the establishment of checkpoints for goods passing through domestic water and land routes. Lijin Bureau was built in the fifth year of Xianfeng (1855). It was a taxation agency established by the Qing Dynasty government in Hongjiang. Lijin Bureau is now a national key cultural relics protection unit.
