The original HSBC Bank is located at the northeast corner of the junction of Shamian Street and Shamian Fourth Street. The building is rectangular in north-south direction, and the southeast and southwest are cut corners. The entrance and exit of the lower section adopts the classical gray granite mountain flower gate of the west, and the radiated decoration line is hooked above the mountain flower gate.
As a building full of history along the river road, it is indeed a colored and tiled for the scenery on both sides of the Pearl River. The old European style and typical baroque architecture are definitely a classic example of architecture. It is definitely worth a look, and the night view is even more worthy of praise!
Great, the real thing is exactly the same as the picture, the color is very bright and beautiful, there is value!
We entered from Yuexiu Park MTR station, took Metro Line 1 to Huangsha Station, and began today's European-style tour - sand surface. The sand surface is surrounded by water and is connected by four bridges. There are more than 150 European-style buildings on Shamian Island, of which 42 are prominent new Baroque, Gothic, Coupon Gallery, Neo-Classical and Chinese and Western style buildings, making it the most exotic European complex in Guangzhou. Unfortunately, it rained heavily and affected the photo. Shamian Island in the rain has a layer of beauty, and there is also a primary school here, which is catching up with students. I envy these children, and I can see so many beautiful buildings every day. And Shamian Elementary School itself is a beautiful building, considered eclectic architecture, also known as the New Baroque. It is like a large European garden full of small castles, and the path between each building is surrounded by flowers and grass and towering trees, and there are many interesting sculptures from time to time. It is not a pedestrian street, but only the outer streets can be opened to traffic. The big trees here are basically ancient banyan trees for more than 100 years, with leafy branches, vibrant, shaded sun, and the air in the rain is particularly fresh. Building 54 Shamian Street, formerly HSBC. Imitating the Western classical revival architecture style, four floors high, two floors of exterior walls with a pillar to three floors, in the southwest roof of the dome pavilion.
Founded in 1865, the neoclassical style building was established here after HSBC established its head office in Hong Kong.
