Taihang Ridge Scenic Area is located in Shibanyan, Linzhou City, Anyang. It is a prestigous site for painting in China. Along wuthm Wangxiang Rock, Taohua Valley, and Hongqi Canal, they form a series of sightseeing areas. At the entrance to the area, there is the wide and serene Taihang Pinghu Lake. It is possible to enter the scenic area on both land and water. The scenic is wide and divided into four main regions: Pinghu Region, Dieshui Region, Specialty Agricultural Region, and Folk Culture Region. It is abundant in natural resources, mountains, water, and cultural heritage. Majestic, mysterious, treacherous, interesting, and fun, its charm is comparable with those of Jiuzhai Valley, Yesanpo, and Penglai Island.
