Ba Cheng Street in China left a lasting impression on me. The vibrant street market was a delight to explore, with a rich display of local culture and traditional crafts. As we strolled along, we stumbled upon a charming tea shop, it’s called 巴城街茶坊. The owner warmly welcomed us and introduced us to various Chinese teas, making the tasting experience truly enjoyable. Yangcheng Lake Lotus Island Scenic Area

The Lotus Island Scenic Area is located in the middle of Yangcheng Lake, like a blooming lotus, quietly floating on the rippling water. Surrounded by water on three sides, its unique geographical environment makes the waters here particularly wide, with clear and transparent water quality, like a mirror, reflecting the blue sky and white clouds. This autumn, if you go to Suzhou, don't miss Lotus Island. Admission to Lotus Island is free, you can choose to take a 15 yuan mini train or a 10 yuan sightseeing car to Yi Garden Station, or you can ride a bicycle or walk. We chose to take the mini train on the way there and ride a bicycle on the way back, highly recommend this way! Walking in the village on the island, the lake is full of lotus flowers and leaves, local fishermen shuttle through the lotus leaves after catching crabs from Yangcheng Lake, the scene is too beautiful~ Golden rice fields: There are rice fields on both sides of the cycling road, and the viewing platform in the rice fields can overlook the farmland and farmhouses~ Lake view sunset: Walk around slowly at the sightseeing car waiting area of the Pharmacist Temple and on the Cuiyu Bridge, the blue sky and white clouds are really beautiful, you can probably take beautiful sunset photos after about 5:30 in the evening... There are many restaurants on the island, we didn't make a reservation in advance, we randomly chose a well-reviewed old brand called Linglong Crab House, the taste is not bad. On the weekend, I went out with a few friends and went to the lotus island of Yangcheng Lake in Suzhou. This is the center of Yangcheng Lake. Not only can you taste delicious crabs, you can also play inside. Yiyuan is a Suzhou garden in Yangcheng Lake, which has a lot of information about the past of Yangcheng Lake. Equivalent to a very content museum. You can learn a lot of content in the 15 yuan ticket. It feels very interesting.

The Yiyuan Museum is located in the northeast corner of Lotus Island. The "Golden Bricks" displayed inside are engraved with the traces of Yangcheng Lake. The historical humanities and so on show the folk customs of the entire Jiangnan water town and restore the original ecological lifestyle of the lotus island. this place is called Park Catholic Church and is located at the far south side of the yangcheng lake. One thing I like to do when I want to find a new place to visit is that I look on my Maps, and just randomly scroll through till I find a very cool place, that I think would be nice to visit. Usually I try to make it close to my location but after exploring everywhere around me then I start to go farther away.
