It can be regarded as the best hotel in Siena, the location is opposite the old Siena Bank, the town is not big, this is also a relatively central area, it is very convenient to go anywhere. The hotel itself is also a 17th-century building with a retro style. Breakfast is not bad, children can use the existing bed free of charge, everyone pays attention to the age of children, the breakfast for children to pay 26 euros a day, this price can only be said to look at the environment and service, do not consider the word cost Haha. From the Siena train station, don't go around the road, go through the shopping mall facing the train station, go upstairs, there will be an extra long escalator to help us climb the hillside, then take a short walk to see Siena The old town gate, you can reach the hotel all the way. We were lucky to spend three nights at the Hotel Athena on our recent visit to Siena. Our room was comfortably large, nicely furnished, with a very comfortable bed with nice linens. The outdoor terrace and bar opened every evening at 5 (this is contingent on good weather, which we were fortunate to have); it's a lovely place to have a drink and enjoy the lovely view of the countryside and the sunset. Breakfast was included in our rate; the selection of breakfast items was good, with freshly baked pastries, scrambled eggs, a variety of meats, cheeses, and fruits, plus cereal and yoghurt. Guests were expected to make their own coffee from the espresso/coffee machine. The staff was helpful throughout; the receptionists were gracious, the bartender very professional. The historic center of Siena is a fairly easy 15-minute walk from the hotel (prepare for some hills along the way). The nearest restaurants are about 8-10 minutes away by foot; we didn't try the hotel dining room except for breakfast. We'll certainly consider the Hotel Athena again when next we're in Siena; it's convenient to the center of town, and really nicely appointed.

This hotel is a little far from the center but close to the hospital, the rooms were clean and had enough space, air condition was working very good and the included breakfast buffet was good as well. we didn't try the pool area because this was packed with a british group and we stayed there for a city visit and not for relaxing. The breeakfast restaurant was as well packed with very noisy and loud british people they kept everybody busy and were not well behaved. The bar was nearly empty and the barkeeper served us very fast and friendly. Reception was fast friendly and gave us some hints and good advise for our city visit. The beds were very good and comfortable. Due to the fact that we traveled around Tuscany we could park our car at the hotel owned parking lot (for free)

The attitude is very enthusiastic and the facilities are four-star standard. It's a bit far from the city center. The key is the meal, which is great. The baked snacks for breakfast are unforgettable. They are not oily or sweet, but they are particularly fragrant. For dinner, I ordered a roast pork knee with plum sauce (a small amount, only half a pork knee, not a large portion like Germany), and I even licked the plate. I ordered a pumpkin leek soup for my mother. She has a bad appetite and feels comfortable after eating it.

When I took the room, I said that I didn't find the order, and I took a long time to get the room. Driving is ok, parking is free and the room is too old. No quilt. Only one can be covered like a sheet. Asked the waiter to give the quilt, and gave two very shabby blankets. . . About 2 kilometers from the city, on the top of the mountain. The price is very poor

Fantastic location! Just a short walk from the escalator, through the shopping mall and close to the old town of Siena. Lovely bright, clean room, (we upgraded to a balcony 10euros) Nice toiletries and a great breakfast ! Receptionists we’re very polite and extremely helpful with directions and suggestions of traditional places to eat.
