Hamdeok Beach Stay Jeju

The front desk guy, a bit chubby with glasses, didn't speak much English. He assigned our two rooms to the very end of the 2nd and 6th floors respectively. The room on the 6th floor had an irregular shape, and a rather creepy painting was hung right above the bed... It was so unsettling that we ended up covering it. Not sure why this hotel has that painting everywhere. The bedding was also quite dirty, so I'd recommend bringing your own. On the plus side, the breakfast was good, and the beach was right outside the hotel. We stayed for three days and two nights, and I felt the beach in front of the hotel was the best for swimming in Hamdeok. The main Hamdeok beach was too crowded and the water was murky.

The hotel's location is excellent, right by the beach as soon as you step out, which was super convenient for the kids to play, and easy to come back for a shower. The only downsides were that the room was a bit small and the beds were narrow, and we only got two complimentary bottles of water daily. There are plenty of dining options nearby within a short walk. If you're visiting Jeju Island in the summer, staying in Hamdeok for water activities is definitely more popular with kids than staying in the city center.

The room was a bit small but clean. The location is excellent, right by the beach 🏖️. My kids loved it. Oh, and the mattress was really comfortable, so I slept very well.

This is a budget-friendly hotel, and the rooms look exactly like the pictures provided by the vendor – clean and tidy. Despite being economical, it's right across from a super beautiful beach, offering incredible value for money. You can literally just put on your swimsuit in the room. There are convenient shower facilities right next to the hotel, and after a rinse, you can grab an ice cup and coffee concentrate from the supermarket next door, then sit on a bench out front and enjoy the breeze – pure bliss. On Fridays, there are lots of shops around, including a famous beauty store that's about a 10-minute walk away, spanning two large floors for one-stop shopping. You'll also find Starbucks, BBQ, seafood, fried chicken, ice cream, and bars. I highly recommend this hotel for a summer vacation. I didn't take pictures of the hotel room, so I'll just show you the super beautiful beach across from it.

When booking this hotel, make sure to read the fine print. If it's only for two people, there will be an extra charge for each additional person, including children. I recommend booking a sea view room; it's definitely great value for the price.

The room isn't huge, but it's very clean and super close to the beach, making it convenient to get everywhere! There are also plenty of great food options nearby, and a massive Olive Young! It's fantastic for shopping! I'll definitely be back!
