The Great Wall of China left us speechless. It’s definitely one of the most impressive places we’ve seen in the entire world.

The autumn wind is bleak, and it takes half an hour to get to Badaling from Qinghe Railway Station early in the morning. After a short rest and breakfast, we started to visit the scenic area. The Badaling Great Wall is known as one of the 'Nine Fortresses under Heaven', combining majestic and precipitous scenery with beautiful, lush greenery, and is the essence of the Ming Dynasty's Great Wall landscapes. The Badaling Great Wall's fortress is trapezoidal in shape, wider in the west and narrower in the east, with two gates on either side. The inscription on the east gate reads 'Juyong Outer Fortress', while the west gate bears the inscription 'Key to the North Gate'.
