Quiet and serene
Jyurinji is a place where Ariharano Narihira, a famous poet in Heian Period, lived after his retirement. Although it is not a big temple, there are various touristic attractions such as Narihira’s tom...
Jurinji Temple, which is visited every year, is a little crowded, and you can lie down on the porch and watch the cherry blossoms. the best. The full bloom is nice, but the expression that the cherry blossoms are very elegant and wonderful at the beginning of the scattering is very suitable (I think). Access is a short walk from the bus stop or there is a parking lot if you are a car. Some people came by taxi.
First of all, I received an explanation when I paid the admission fee, but I was taken as if I decided that this side did not understand Narihira Arihara completely. The temple side may also convey it from the desire to "feel the history properly", but it was clearly an attitude that looked down on people. I also made a preliminary examination here, and it was a worship after studying Narihira Arihara (I never came in half of the play). I will go again ...
Jurinji Temple It is also commonly known as Narihiraji Temple. It seems that Narihira Arihara made salt here in his later years. So the place name here is called "Koshio". Also, when Emperor Kazan rebuilt the 33 temples in Saigoku, Kusabun Kanzeon was placed in Jurinji Temple. If you visit the 33 sacred places in Saigoku, the first thing to visit is Kusabun Kanzeon, and the cloistered emperor Kazan's handprint is also a temple treasure.

Beautiful quiet temple.
It's far away from city central but worth traveling. I'd love to come back here again in Autumn and Spring for sure.
Shilun Temple

A disappointing temple.
