Last weekend, I took a special birthday trip to Macau to see the sights. I was staying at the Parisian on the Cotai Strip. Across from the Galaxy Macau Resort, you'll find a bridge you can cross to check out Taipa Village, a Portuguese-Chinese neighborhood that is colorful, vibrant, and very photogenic. The blend of cultures is elegant and gorgeous. There's more than enough places to take pictures, grab a snack, do some shopping, or admire the historical sights. It's a neighborhood that is unlike anything I've ever seen. If you're ever in Macau, I recommend spending a day there and find every detail you can find along the walls and pathways. Tuk Tuk Thai Kitchen is a Thai cuisine restaurant located at Rua Do Regedor Old Taipa Village Macau. They serve sumptuous thai food. The tom yum goong taste delicious, just like the authentic one. The som tam or green papaya salad is also my favorite here. I tried their pad thai which is my ever favorite thai food and it taste not that far from the authentic one. 🇲🇴Macau Memories🇲🇴 We decided to indulge in some delicious cha chaan teng cuisine at the renowned Macau Cha Dong😋 Upon arrival, we noticed a queue of eager diners, but we patiently waited our turn, fortunately, the wait wasn't too lengthy. ☎️The restaurant exudes a nostalgic charm, adorned with memorabilia from the 70s/80s, making it a truly distinctive dining spot. We thoroughly enjoyed immersing ourselves in the retro vibes while relishing the delectable food to our heart's content. The prices at Macau Cha Dong are quite reasonable, with a set menu priced at $53. We savored a comforting bowl of hot noodles, their signature pork chop, a steaming cup of milk tea, a refreshing iced red bean with coconut ice cream, and a delightful buttered toast topped with a creamy egg infused with truffle. 🍳I loved and enjoyed my whole meal, the buttered toast with creamy egg truffle, it was a delightful crunch while retaining a soft and fluffy interior.It was generously spread with creamy, velvety butter, which adds a luscious and rich taste. The highlight are the eggs infused with truffle. The scrambled eggs are expertly prepared, to achieve a silky and smooth texture. The truffle essence, with its distinct earthy and aromatic notes. 🐷I must say their pork chop was amazing, soft and tender, very savory and cooked well, I had it together with the hot bowl of noodles which was very filling, the broth was tasty and hearty. I couldn’t finish the noodles as it was a lot. 🫖Their silky hot milk tea was smooth and just the way I liked it—love the local milk teas at cha chaan tengs💙 👧Overall, service was good. Perfume is divided into top, middle and base notes~ You can choose 8-10 of your favorite scents from more than 80 essential oils in the shop. The perfumer will help calculate the amount of each essential oil that should be dropped. It's really full of ritual!! I personally prefer sweet scents~ I chose sweet orange as the main scent that day. The final product is very satisfying!
