__WeChat315860****I stayed at the Mandarin Oriental Qianmen at the end of December, celebrating New Year's Eve by myself. I absolutely loved the hotel's design aesthetic. The room was spacious and had a courtyard. I even brought a bottle of Salon to enjoy in the evening. Karlie's service was incredibly attentive and thoughtful; I really appreciated the little note she wrote. It was a very comfortable stay overall, and I was thoroughly satisfied.

SSiu Ming HuiMy partner and I recently stayed at the Beijing Wanda Vista Hotel, and it was nothing short of magical! From the moment we arrived, we felt pampered and cared for in this stunning boutique hotel, which truly caters to couples seeking luxury and comfort. Cleanliness: The hotel’s immaculate standards were evident from the spotless rooms to the pristine public spaces. Our suite was impeccably maintained, with fresh linens, plush towels, and attention to every detail. It felt like a serene retreat after long days exploring the city. Location: Perfectly situated in a vibrant yet tranquil area, the hotel offers easy access to Beijing’s top attractions, trendy cafes, and local markets. We loved strolling through the nearby hutongs one day and enjoying a river cruise the next—all within walking distance or a short ride away. Service: The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was unforgettable. From the warm welcome with sparkling drinks to personalized recommendations for romantic dinners, every interaction felt genuine and thoughtful. They even surprised us with a complimentary bottle of champagne to celebrate our anniversary! Amenities: The hotel’s amenities are designed for relaxation and indulgence. We spent hours unwinding in the tranquil spa, took a dip in the elegant rooftop pool with breathtaking views, and enjoyed modern, well-equipped rooms featuring king-size beds, smart TVs, and luxurious bath products. Even the little touches, like nightly turndown service and 24-hour room service, added to the charm. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply craving a cozy getaway, the Beijing Wanda Vista Hotel is the ultimate choice for couples. Every aspect of our stay exceeded expectations, and we can’t wait to return. Thank you for creating such a magical experience—we’ll be recommending it to all our friends!

KKhaled FahmawyThe positives: Location, Location, Location! It is a 10 minute walk away from the forbidden city, and it is close to the temple of heaven. The room service did a nice job as well cleaning the room daily. The negatives: 1- the access to the hotel is through stairs, if you have luggage, you won’t have someone to help you with the bags before you check in. 2- the pictures make seems nicer than it actually is. 3- the lobby is not clean, neither is the floor where we were booked. 4- the rooms too close to each other, the room walls are not well isolated, you will keep hearing noises throughout the night of people walking and speaking loudly beside the rooms. 5- the bathroom has a strong odour coming from it. Not due to room service hygiene though. 6- the toilet seat had wear marks/dark marks on it. 7- pay attention to the fine print while you are booking, despite that all options say double bed, we were asked to pay extra for a queen size bed. Which is fine , however that extra cost puts the hotel rate in the same range of higher tier brand hotels. 8- the room is small, and there are no hangars for the towels.

YYifeiGGThe hotel room was really spacious, and I loved the tea table setup. It was also very affordable, and the facilities were excellent, with a smart toilet, a large-screen TV, and a smart voice system. Plus, about 500 meters downstairs is Lianhua Pond Park, which has an ice rink. Although it's small, there are very few people, so you don't have to deal with the crowds at the Summer Palace ice rink. The only thing I couldn't stand was that the heating couldn't be adjusted – it was ridiculously hot. The air conditioning was disabled, so there was no way to control the room temperature. I tried opening the window, but it still didn't help. This place is perfect for those who don't mind heat or those who get cold easily, but I really struggled with the heat.

GGuest UserThe hotel is conveniently located close to the subway station and main attractions, easily accessible by shared bikes. There are also many shopping malls nearby. The room was spacious and clean, and the high-floor room offered a great view. Room service was prompt, and the staff were polite and easy to communicate with. The breakfast selection was quite diverse. The only downside was that the room was a bit warm, and even with the AC on, it didn't get any cooler 😂

GGuest UserI've been to this hotel several times for internal department meetings and team-building events, so I brought my family here for Chinese New Year. The hotel's location is super convenient, about an hour's drive from the city. The rooms are individual villas, offering a wonderful sense of harmony with nature ✌🏻, providing peace and tranquility for those busy with work. This is a five-star hotel under the international Hyatt chain, and during Chinese New Year, they were very well-staffed. Besides their consistently professional regular services, they also had thoughtfully prepared activities to celebrate the New Year and special dishes. Sunny, the lady who checked us in at the front desk, was beautiful, kind, and incredibly helpful, responding to every request with enthusiasm 😍. My family was very happy and satisfied with this short Chinese New Year trip, and we'll definitely be back when the spring flowers are in full bloom!

QQuin56Review: Stay Home This trip was like an encounter with prehistoric man and a case study of a failed business combined. If you book a standard room, you will be taken away from the five star reception area to another building which has the decor and standards of a thirty year old hotel. Faded carpets, peeling walls, smelly interiors, uncleaned floors and rooms which are impossible to heat. But it was just about liveable, in that it had a bed and hot water. What totally failed to impress were the amenities. We'd come for the children's stuff, the little zoo, water park and others. The price of these are not included in the hotel, and for each experience they charge adults and baby to the tune of 80rmb, meaning you will spend quite a bit to use it all. As soon as I saw the children's rides I became depressed, they were rusting and looked murderous, as if the nuts and bolts would be dislodged and explode fatally in all directions if a kid shook too heavily on the things. To even use anything suggested you'd become unclean as well. Then you attempt to ask staff something but stop when you realise how futile it would be to address someone with one eye in its forehead and the other in its chin, with their peers boasting similarly fascinating facial misalignments. An hour of that and we wanted to leave, including our baby. She would have been much happier at home playing with her toys, or rather just happy at home doing anything than being at the Nirvana resort. Anyway, the swimming pool is not free either, they will charge you 58 a person including child. When I went to ask about a swim, staff were downright stunned I'd walked in to ask such a question, watching as I entered and left with hillbilly intensity and incomprehension. You can see the park had a lot of money invested in it before, way back in the misty past, but I can't see them recouping their losses. The resort is a grab money scheme with separate interests taking care of, or neglecting, what is on offer. I can't see them attracting a moneyed middle class without a total overhaul. On the plus side, my wife and I did have a good laugh about how bad it was and the fact we'd packed for a few days in expectation of a holiday, but found ourselves cancelling after an hour. The reception was helpful with this and refunded our money. The staff are well meaning in a vacuous kind of way, going about their duties as the whole place drops about them, broken lifts, falling plaster, water leaks and all. But to be sincerely positive, the gardens are pleasant along with the lake and ducks.

GGuest UserAfter a lot of research for my trip to Beijing, I finally settled on this hotel. You can see the entire Forbidden City from the hotel's top floor, which is an amazing location! The room was quite spacious too. I'd read many reviews saying Beijing hotel rooms are small, so this was a pleasant surprise. The hotel's location is unbeatable; it's very close to the National Museum, the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, and Wangfujing. The decor has a nice, antique feel. The only thing I'd complain about is the slow drainage in the bathroom.

SSuper_PaiThe hotel is located in the CBD, very close to the CCTV Tower. The room offers a city view, which is visible from both the main room and the bathroom – quite nice at night. The room, decorated in a new Chinese style, is a good size at over 40 square meters, though the furniture is a bit dated. When we checked in, my friend had a bit of a disagreement with the front desk staff that wasn't resolved well. While my friend can be a bit short-tempered, the front desk's response lacked professionalism and emotional intelligence, which ultimately led my friend to cancel the reservation in anger and move to the Rosewood next door.
