It was pretty clean and spacious. The views were lovely, especially early in the morning when it was not fully bright yet. Nice sea views 👍 Got a free upgrade to two rooms maybe bc it wasn't a peak season, so my friend and I slept separately. Friendly staff on Whatsapp and the security guards at the premise. Everyone will guide you on how to check in and out somehow. Pretty reliable and assuring. Turning on and off the AC can be a lil tricky even when we read the instructions. But we still managed to sleep comfortably at night and mine was pretty strong. The bed and pillows were really comfortable! The biggest con about the location is realllllly weak wifi even if you have your own roaming data. The driver who drove us there told us so and we really experienced it throughout the stay. It was only strong when you're inside the house with its own modem. Once you leave the unit, you basically get an unstable connection.

The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were friendly. The facilities were good, and the location was convenient. Overall, it was a pleasant experience to stay at this hotel.

Overall, I had a pleasant stay at KSL Hotel & Resort. The room was clean, spacious, and the bed was comfortable for a good night’s sleep. The location is excellent as it’s directly connected to KSL City Mall, making shopping and finding food very convenient. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were polite. The room could use a little updating in some areas, but it was still comfortable and worth the price. I would definitely consider staying here again for a short trip to Johor Bahru.

Location near to ferry terminal,easy access to and from terminal to hotel because both in same building but different level. Ferry terminal at level two. Hotel lobby at level one. Service ok. Breakfast ok many choices But negative points, within and surrounding hotel there are clubs, noisy at night that disturb peace especially if your room is at lower level. Here the clubs n shop in building serve n sell liquor too...saw drunk lady outside hotel at night. Feel uncomfortable. Car park n hotel use different lift so has to ask security guard how to get to hotel lobby after parking at multilevel car park. Quite complicated so need to ask specific directions to hotel lobby from car park . Hotel building not new, but clean, room quite spacious, superb view from room at level 15 overlooking the sea.

The location is considered good as it is within 10min walking distance from KsL shopping mall. The view from the room is also nice. The room is quite big with a comfortable bed and large tv with many channels. However the toilet bowl is not very good as gets clogged easily. Overall a comfortable stay.

Had a wonderful stay at Holiday Inn JBCC! The location is excellent—right in the heart of the city and within walking distance to Komtar JBCC, City Square Mall, and the CIQ, making shopping and getting around very convenient. We also requested connecting rooms for our family, and the hotel kindly accommodated our request. It made our stay much more comfortable and convenient, especially when travelling with children. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well maintained.

Having stayed at Holiday Villa numerous times, I keep returning for one simple reason: consistency. It has become my go-to choice for trips to Johor Bahru, and it continues to deliver a reliable experience. Why I keep coming back:  Prime Location: Being located directly opposite KSL City Mall is incredibly convenient. You have immediate access to shopping, dining, and the cinema without the need to navigate heavy traffic or deal with long walks.  Hassle-Free Parking: This is a major selling point. Between the ease of self-parking and the convenience of the valet service (at a reasonable RM35), arrival and departure are always stress-free compared to the often chaotic access at the mall side.  Solid Breakfast: The breakfast variety is surprisingly good, with a nice spread that offers a solid start to the day. A Note on Value: I am fully aware that the room rates here are generally higher than at KSL Hotel. While it is a bit more of a premium, I find that the extra cost is absolutely justified by the seamless parking experience, the slightly quieter environment, and the overall maintenance of the property. Verdict: If you value efficiency, ease of access, and a hassle-free stay, the slight price premium is worth every penny. I will definitely be returning.

The resort is located outside of the city, the ambience is very nice, the hotel room is spacious and well designed, however it is worn down and one can see it has surpassed his glorious time. The towels are quite old and the amenities are simple. The gym was well equipped for few decades ago, the Aircon is not working properly so it is super hot inside. The Sauna and jacuzzi are for both genders. There are only one bottle of water provided free of charge per person per day, the tap water tastes terrible. The breakfast is good in the sense of varieties. It can be challenging to get a taxi due to the location.

The title of the apartment should fall under D'Esplanade instead of JB city Shoping Mall apartments as it is located at the D'Esplanade Residences. The apartment is clean amd fits up to 4 people. Bathtub is abit of a concern as it is made of of acrylic and when you step inside it feels like it will Crack. There is a bidetbspray hose but no bidet gun spray. The sink in the toilet is leaking underneath which causes the floor to be wet. There is also no shower curtain, and when showering , the water tend tobsplashnonnrhe floor outside.thr latch on the door is broken off, therefore unable to ensure safety if someone has the card access. Ease of getting the key and instructions is good. To check out during peak periods can have you waiting for the lift for at least 25bto 30 minutes form a high floor to the ground level, as there was one lift outbofb4, that was out of order. Overall stay is good. Walk down and on the left is KSL Horel and out from the apartment building is on the night market on Mondays.

Hotel is clean and staff are friendly. Wide spread of breakfast to choose from. There is free shuttle service to Mid Valley Southkey Shopping Mall so we don’t have to walk that far. Will definitely stay again and recommend it to friends.
