A lil bit annoying from the toilet. Making sound like someone knocking, from the pipeline. My kids feel a lil bit terrified from that sound. Is that a common sound there? But overall, its a very satisfying accomodation. my kids enjoy with the pool. Charlie, I came across one or two Charlie ants in the toilet and sauna room.

We had a wonderful stay at Lone Pine Penang! Everything was great from start to finish. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable, the hotel was beautiful, and the location was perfect. The staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. We really enjoyed the facilities, the ambience and especially the beautiful beachfront view. Everything was well taken care of and made our stay truly relaxing and enjoyable. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend Lone Pine Penang. We’ll definitely come back again!

The hotel is very new, spacious, and the facilities inside are also brand new. Every staff member is very polite. There's a large balcony with sunset views and an infinity sea view. The breakfast is also very rich, offering a variety of international buffet dishes. There's also an infinity pool where you can watch the sunset. One evening, we even opted for the buffet dinner at the hotel, which had a great selection and delicious food. It's just a 5-minute drive to Pantai Batu Ferringhi, where there are many different restaurants offering various cuisines, including beachfront dining, where you can enjoy fire shows at night. There's also a night market nearby for a stroll!

Hotel average. Not satisfied with the difference in check in counter&the deposit is quite high for average hotel. Receipts for deposit provided only by request. The pressure for toilet bidet is too slow. Room is clean & spacious however the pillow is too light&causing a headache in the morning. Charge for parking is too high & unacceptable for guest shoud be waive.

We booked PARKROYAL Penang through Trip.com for our little daughter’s 4th birthday, and we honestly had a wonderful stay. I wasn’t sure if booking through Trip.com would make any difference in terms of service, but the hotel completely exceeded our expectations. The staff were friendly, warm and helpful throughout our stay. The highlight for us was the little birthday surprise for our daughter. 🎂❤️ The hotel prepared a lovely birthday cake for her, which was such a sweet gesture and really made her day. It may seem like a small thing, but for us as parents, it made the trip extra special. The hotel is also very family-friendly. The beach is right there, the swimming pools and kids’ facilities kept our daughter entertained, and there are restaurants and convenience stores nearby, so it was quite convenient. The location is slightly away from the busier parts of Penang, but personally I liked that. It gave us a more relaxed holiday atmosphere, which was exactly what we wanted for a family trip. Most importantly, the service really stood out. Everyone we met was genuinely welcoming and attentive, and we felt well taken care of from check-in until check-out. The hotel is beautiful, clean and very comfortable. The room was spacious and well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere was really pleasant. The staff were friendly, helpful and provided excellent service throughout our stay. Everything was smooth from check-in to check-out. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely come back again. Highly recommended! ❤️

The location of the hotel is excellent, the bus stop and a food center with delicious food is just across the road. I like the large and spacious room in the junior suite with a nice view from the balcony. The pool was always packed with kids, no chance to try it out. The breakfast had a good variety, and I missed the masala teh tarik. We had a bit of a hiccup with check in, the suite room was not ready at 3.45pm, all fully paid in advance, we were told to wait till 4.30pm with no guarantee, we almost wanted to change the hotel, the manager resolved it in the end.

The hotel was exceptional! Our room was really clean and very comfortable, we had a slight issue with the air conditioning being loud, but when we told the staff and they weren’t able to fix it, they upgraded us to a new room. The breakfast every morning was delicious! We really enjoyed swimming in the beautiful pool, and the location was good because it was very close to a lot of places we wanted to visit. The only issue we had was that we had to pay the deposit in cash and couldn’t pay on our debit card, so we were left with cash when we were leaving Malaysia after staying here. However, in all this hotel was excellent and the staff were so friendly and helpful.

The hotel boasts beautiful scenery, and you'll often encounter various small animals like squirrels, lizards, and even troops of monkeys. The air by the sea is fresh, and the breakfast spread is extensive, offering a wide variety of international cuisines to choose from.

Overall, I had a pleasant stay at Crowne Plaza Penang Straits City. The hotel is relatively quiet, and the room has a very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. I really liked the lighting in the room. There are warm yellow lights near the bed, which make the room feel very chill and cosy at night. On the other hand, the lighting around the bathroom and mirror area is white and bright, so it does not feel dim at all. The blackout curtains also work well, so the room does not get too bright or hot from the sunlight during the day. There are quite a lot of mirrors around the bathroom area, which makes the space feel bigger visually. The room also comes with a 3x magnifying mirror that can be adjusted to different angles. Once adjusted properly, it is very clear and convenient to use. I also like that the mirrors do not face directly towards the bed. One small inconvenience is that there is no chair placed directly in front of the mirror, so if you want to sit down while doing your makeup, you may need to move the chair over yourself. The shower area and toilet are separated, which is convenient. However, I felt that the toilet ventilation could be slightly better, as smells do not disappear very quickly. The amenities provided were quite complete as well. If I remember correctly, they also provided body lotion and hair conditioner in addition to the usual toiletries. The service was friendly and helpful. The staff were polite and proactively offered to help carry our luggage. We also arrived when a room happened to be available, and they kindly allowed us to check in earlier than the standard check-in time, which made the whole experience even more convenient. Location-wise, the hotel is a little further away from the main tourist attractions in George Town. You will also most likely need to take a Grab when going out for food, although the rides are generally not very far. There is also a 7-Eleven downstairs, which is very convenient if you need drinks, snacks or other basic items. Overall, I was quite satisfied with the comfort, lighting, service and spacious feel of the room. It is a nice option if you prefer somewhere quieter and do not mind taking Grab to the main attractions.
