The room was very clean, and the front desk upgraded my room, which had a fantastic city view with a wide vista and large windows. The night view was absolutely stunning. The location is excellent, right on Zhongshan Road and Zhenhai Road, making it very convenient to get to all the attractions. The service attitude was great. I happened to be there during Xiamen's rainy season, so the room's floor was a bit damp and slippery, so you had to be careful. Overall, the service was good, and the room was very clean.

Going through a divorce 'cooling-off' period, I decided to take a solo trip to clear my head and booked this hotel – and it was truly excellent. Why was it so good? Let me explain a few points: First, the location is superb. It's convenient for enjoying sea views and strolling along Shaweipo. It should also be close to Gulangyu, but unfortunately, my trip there was canceled due to Typhoon Bavi, which is a major regret from my journey. Second, the hotel's decor is high-end and elegant, with excellent facilities. The aesthetic is sophisticated, and they even prepared a welcome ceremony as per my request. Third, the service was impeccable. It was only after coming to the south that I realized how meticulous and thoughtful Southern hospitality can make you feel at home. I'm a stickler for details, and they really delivered. There were friendly staff members to help with luggage, assist with getting in and out of cars, and anything I needed was promptly provided. I developed tonsillitis after arriving and requested ice for a cold compress; when my friend visited, they needed disposable slippers; and when I couldn't figure out how to use the iron, housekeeping came to assist. Early check-in and late check-out, while generally offered by five-star hotels, also provided great convenience. Fourth, the overall experience was fantastic, and the breakfast was plentiful. After a bath, the bed was incredibly comfortable for sleeping. For breakfast, they had Eggs Benedict, which filled me up completely. I also want to praise the front desk ladies – each one was beautiful, gentle, and graceful. Just seeing them was a pleasure, haha (P.S. I'm a girl). That's it, it was just too good, I'm at a loss for words. While choosing photos, I remembered a few more things: the turndown service, the small desserts in the evening, and the room cleaning were all delightful touches.

The receptionist was exceptionally helpful and patient. Even on such a hot day, she helped my friend get a temporary ID card – very thoughtful and kind. The room was clean, and the security guard was very friendly and patient. Overall, a very pleasant trip. Oh, and I forgot my watch at the hotel! The receptionist even called to ask, and after confirming, immediately contacted a courier to send it back! Thank you!

Since I was visiting Gulangyu the next day, I decided to stay here for a night to avoid the morning traffic, and overall, it was a great experience. The room was spacious and offered a direct view of Gulangyu. It even came with a microwave, which is something other hotels usually don't provide, and I found that very convenient, even though I didn't use it. If I had to suggest any improvements, it would be that the hotel entrance had a very strong fragrance. Also, my child's clothes got stained from food, and the hotel didn't have a laundry room. They did provide some soap later, but I'd suggest they keep some small sachets of laundry detergent on hand.

I arrived in a torrential downpour, dusty and weary from the journey, but seeing a cute big black dog sleeping in the hotel immediately made me feel warm and fuzzy. The room was fully equipped, clean, and tidy overall. As dusk fell, the indoor lighting created a lovely ambiance. Opening the door, the small courtyard with bamboo shadows swaying and cicadas chirping after the rain was quite enchanting. I imagine it would be a wonderful spot to just relax and unwind when the weather is cool and dry. Oh, and the two young men working there were also very kind and friendly. They helped me with my luggage, gave me a paper map (I appreciate such artistic touches), and even brought breakfast to my room, telling me to ask for more if it wasn't enough. My personal stay was quite pleasant. If I had to mention any tips, I'd say bring mosquito repellent, as there are many mosquitoes on the island. Also, the breakfast is simple and home-style, not like a fancy hotel buffet, so that's something to consider based on personal preference. I would definitely consider staying here again next time I'm on the island. Thanks for the hospitality! (◍•͈⌔•͈◍)

The hotel's facilities are excellent. Guest relations managers Elaine and Mia provided fantastic service, and the executive lounge staff were also very friendly. The food offerings were great. The hotel arranged a wonderful travel photoshoot 🎉, and the staff were attentive and took great pictures. Even on a rainy day, taking photos at the hotel was a fun activity. The surrounding area is quiet, and transportation is convenient, making it suitable for both leisure and business stays. Overall, the experience was satisfying and highly recommended.

The service was warm and thoughtful, and the staff were incredibly enthusiastic and attentive, actively helping me with the car door and luggage. I hope they continue to maintain this excellent standard. The room, as always, was spacious and impressive. Even though the hotel has been operating for several years, the facilities are still well-maintained. The breakfast quality was also consistently good. I hope to have the opportunity to stay again. Overall, it's great value for money, and I hope they keep up with hardware maintenance and renovation.

Overall, it was pretty good. The hotel's location is super convenient for getting around. The pier is about 500 meters from the entrance, and it's just a fifteen-minute boat ride to Xiamen No. 1 Pier, making it easy to go anywhere. A concierge even proactively helped us with directions to the pier; he was really enthusiastic 👍. The ferry ticket to Gulangyu Island was only 35 RMB, and the hotel breakfast was decent too. Regarding the upgrade to a deluxe sea-view room (subject to availability on the day): I booked a superior sea-view room, and the front desk upgraded us to a deluxe sea-view family room. For the mini-bar, you need to proactively contact the front desk for refills. Also, for the cute little souvenir doll included in the package, you need to ask the front desk for it. It's a really adorable doll 🥰
