"We stayed at the Hilton Chania for 2 nights in July. This is a beautiful hotel that is geared up for couples and adults. We were travelling with our 6 year old. The staff were great with him but the hotel isn’t really set up for young children and 2-3 nights would be enough for him. The staff offer the excellent service you’d expect anywhere in Crete, the rooms a lovely and to high spec. We only ate lunch but that was delicious on both occasions. Especially the potato wedges… top tier. The location is fantastic for access to chania old town. My only negatives is are these two: 1) the wine by the glass is horrific. It would strip paint from the walls. Please fix this immediately, there is a great selection by the bottle so there is no excuse for such poor options by the glass. 2) no blender at the pool bar which is a shame as my son would have loved a banana milkshake/smoothy. Other than that, we had a lovely stay!"
