Mövenpick Hotel Melbourne on Spencer ★★★★

"Perfect location. Kids loved the pool and free ice cream, but it was still an elegant and relatively quiet place to stay for us. Interconnecting rooms available. There are decent options on the kids room service menu. Downstairs restaurant handy. We were allowed a late check out, which really helped us logistically."

"The location is unbeatable, right next to Chinatown, and the station is less than a five-minute walk away. It's in a super central spot. The only downside is that parking is a bit of a hassle and costs $28 a day."

Holiday Inn Melbourne Bourke Street Mall by IHG ★★★★

"The hotel has a fantastic location with shopping and dining options right at the doorstep. Two bottles of milk are replenished in the room daily. For drinking water, you need to bring your own cup to the water station on the 2nd floor. All the photos show places within a 10-minute walk~"

Ibis Melbourne Central ★★★

"Small room but the price is not exactly cheap as compared to other hotel that I stayed at which is newer. It is fine to have one night stay at here or if you are a solo traveller who just needs place to sleep at night because the place is quite strategic."

Ibis Melbourne Hotel and Apartments ★★★

"The accommodation cost was reasonable and affordable. The water pressure in the shower was weak, but I guess that's normal for overseas hotels. 😅 I really liked that the hairdryer was powerful. I was overcharged for the deposit, but when I inquired at the front desk the next day, the manager immediately processed the refund. It was a bit scary, and it's also my fault for not being able to speak English well."

Brady Hotels Central Melbourne ★★★★

"Extremely satisfied with our stay. The location is excellent, it's quiet and clean, and the facilities are complete. Plus, there are two balconies, which provide great ventilation. Most importantly, the service was incredibly thoughtful. We arrived very early in the morning, at 7:30 am, and initially expected to only be able to store our luggage and check in after noon, like most hotels. However, the front desk was so considerate. Seeing how tired we were from our journey, they allowed us to check in immediately, saying we could then rest. It was such a pleasant surprise!"
