Originally we only booked a room for two nights, so we decisively extended our stay for one more night. However, when I accidentally reviewed the previous two nights, I didn't get the full five-star rating and rated it 4.2 points [bitter]. The room is beautiful but a little noisy due to the neighbours doors opening and closing as well as the cleaning staff room was next to the room I stayed in. Yes the view outside the window was ugly with the stalled construction but generally I kept the curtains closed anyways. The tea and coffee set are really good, and the heated floors are the best for a cold morning! The included breakfast was also worth it! I chose the hotel because it has the hot springs but because they close at 9pm I did not have time to enjoy them after my hike in the park and after having dinner because I spent more time outdoors. Keeping them open until 10 or 11pm would be best for people like me!

Zhongshan Inn is located in Changpingzhen, a Tibetan style village part of Siguniangzhen at about 3200m altitude (good for acclimatization if you want to go further to Danba, Tagong, Kangding). The bus from and to Chengdu Chadianzi station stops in 5min walking distance from the Inn. To Shuangqiao Valley one needs a driver (about 7 km away, 15 min drive). To Changping Valley (6km away, short ride) one has to take the shuttle bus, the bus stop is a 5 min walk away. The trailhead to Haizi Valley is in 5 min walking distance, one can walk over directly. I stayed here in the week before the Spring Festival. The village and the Inn have been extremely quiet, just a few visitors (many stores and Inns were closed due to the holiday). Hiking and trekking opportunities around this place are rich and beautiful, worth a several day visit. The staff of the guesthouse is very, very kind and goes out of the way to help and support. The owner is a young man who can speak and understand English (great for foreigners). Rooms are spacious, warm, and tidy (bathtub, heating blanket, floor heating) at a fair price. For animal lovers: there are a Husky dog and several cats in the house. In the village you can see the integrated life of villagers and their tiny horses (many of them work as pack animals in the valleys), yaks and cows. Expect some travel hassle if you go by bus or car during the winter season with snow and ice on a small curvy street through spectacular mountains. Needs patience, things will take much longer then.

Overall, the price is acceptable. Other hotels are also organizing activities in the off-season, each with its own pros and cons. The boss upgraded the room to a bigger one for free. The only problem was that one of the kitchen doors was broken and could not be closed. The room could be seen outside the kitchen window and it was still ventilated.

As a foreigner, I couldn't get China domestic cell phone SIM card, and the front desk girl told me where to get the SIM card. 2. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, it feels like I am staying in a 古代客棧 in the Song Dynasty. This hotel fulfilled my fantasy of Ancient time. 3. the location is very convenient. 4. the hotel is cheap but spotless!! Except that this hotel is not very quiet, you can hear a lot of noise outside your balcony. But even for this, I love this hotel. I enjoy so much my time in this hotel, and I think it is worth every penny.

My only complaint would be my roommate who smoked in the room, but that's not the hostel's fault. Sometimes you may meet unpleasant roommates.

We stayed in Yashe or Yanshe. I forgot, hahaha, it was a twin bed. I didn’t take photos of the room because of the high reflectivity. The room has floor heating and the quilt is very warm. It would be better if I changed it to cotton slippers. The inn has an elevator. The owner of the restaurant is very welcoming. Opposite the inn is the Changpinggou Performing Arts Center. You can get there by bus from Chadianzi Bus Terminal. Just talk to the driver. Walk across the road and you can see Dafeng.

Before the Spring Festival, I had always wanted to come to Siguniang Mountain to stay at their home. I canceled it twice because of things, but I finally got to stay this time! We stayed on the panoramic terrace on the first day and changed to a room with double sides of the snow mountain on the second day. The room was very large and comfortable. It was right at the foot of Siguniang Mountain. I can't say this, the scenery was so beautiful. Watch the Rizhao Jinshan Mountain in the morning and evening. When you look up at night, you can see the sky full of stars. It’s really beautiful, but it’s a pity that I can’t take pictures with my mobile phone. It was very pleasant to take a bath in the evening, listen to music, and enjoy the quiet moment. The service of the housekeeper was also very good. She mentioned to contact us before coming to inform us about the traffic conditions. It was very warm as soon as I entered the room, and check-in was smooth. It is highly recommended.

The hotel provides breakfast and dinner, which you can choose by yourself. I went to the performing arts center to watch a performance + yak hotpot, so I didn't try the hotel package. Because I was going to Shuangqiaogou early in the morning, I had breakfast at the hotel for ￥15 each. There was porridge, steamed buns, eggs, pickles, peanuts, fermented bean curd, and I couldn't finish it. Just stayed for one night and the overall experience was pretty good.

It's a very good staying experience, the elders and children like it very much. The boss is super enthusiastic, and the arrangements for pick-up and drop-off breakfast in the scenic spot are properly arranged. Service: both the boss and the staff are very friendly and helpful, I felt like stay at home. The boss picked us from the main road when the day we arrived the tourist bus station. Also helped us arrange the taxi to bus station in the very earlier morning. Very warm heart boss. Environment: the room is clean and well maintain. Plus the hotel is not face main road, it is very quiet to sleep in the night time. There is a small garden within hotel, guest can hang out during the night time. Restaurant: just outside of the hotel, there are many good choose of restaurants, suitable for the family with kids who don’t want walk too far for meal. Floor Heating In the Room: Now it is winter time in jiuzhaigou, the outside is super cold, but the hotel provides all day indoor floor heating to keep the room warm and comfortable to stay. Hot water Supply: very strong water supply, can relieve the tire during the travel. Add on, my kids like hotel shampoo, smell so good. Strong recommend to stay here and will invite more Malaysia friends to stay.

The hotel grounds are very clean and reflects appreciation and respect for Tibetan culture. Our Mandarin language is limited and the boss took the time to use a translator for all communication. The simple breakfast is filling and the yak hotpot dinner is delicious. The boss offered us tea throughout our stay and was happy to talk to us at any time. The hotel is very close to the park entrance and they drove us to the entrance. When our flight was cancelled, the boss offered to take us to a nearby village as an activity. We are so happy we had the opportunity to stay at the hotel and have such a memorable experience!
