Hotel is okay,it's an older unit in a rough part of town.Trash outside and inside my room,hallway and rear entrance was not emptied daily.Car in rear parking lot was vandalized while I was there, not my car, there were many warning signs not to leave valuables in cars.I was there 2 1/2 days never received new towels for the ones I used,although bathroom and room was clean when I arrived. Had a bad problem with the room door opening from the outside, I am fairly strong ,but I had to hip-check the door every time to get into my ,it's so obvious that cleaning staff must have reported It was that hard to open,I am easy-going but it needs reported and repaired.FromSAR 250

I thought the location was great. Downtown is relatively slow moving but it seems create easy access to the rest of the city. The rooms are relatively basic I got to experience the ones with an updated bathroom and the ones without. The gym is very lackluster and the pool is even more so. Staff is hit or miss. Some people were kind and attentive, others were not. There’s definitely construction going on so there are the sounds of that happening throughout the hotel. This is a nice hotel, very clean, great breakfast. However there are some downsides we don’t like: the pool’s water is not that clean and the room service is not that good. When we enter the room on the first day, there was no bath towels at all, I went down to the front desk and asked for some. the cleaning lady knocked at my door TWICE before the check out time of noon, once at ca. 09:30 and another at ca. 1130. I complained to the receptionist, who had the cheek to ask me if I had put the do not disturb sign on. The lack of courtesy at this hotel is stunning. Next time (not with me though), try knocking at everybody's door every hour.

So close to the terminal, just follow the signs once you exit the terminal, cross a couple of roads and you're in the property parking lot.
It's clean and although an old hotel it's kept clean and updated here and there. For example beds have seen better times, but washroom was looking good.
Staff was great, food was fine and served fast.
On the down side one two items:
1 only decaf coffee in the room, odd eh

That's something we haven't had at any of the other hotels the past 3 weeks so it added a bit of a personal touch.
