Great location, close to centraal station, tram and metro. Lots of restaurants around, especially the Asian food selections nearby (chicken ramen is very nice)! We had a family room with sofa that fits the 4 of us. Shower room ceiling is a bit low if you are over 170cm. Power outage in the area on our last day there but the staff was very helpful.

After returning from Iceland, I opted to stay here again. This time, my room was on the 3rd floor, but there's no direct elevator access – you have to switch elevators on the second floor. The room didn't have any stirrers, and when I asked, the front desk wouldn't send them up; I had to go down to get them myself. What was truly frustrating was the motion-sensor light in the bathroom. It would always turn off automatically halfway through my shower, leaving me in complete darkness. I'd essentially be left in the dark twice during a single shower!

It is really small but still functional. The main thing would be that it is in a very good location close to tourist attractions and the main luxury shopping street with VCA, Cartier and tiff. A short stay is fine.

Located canalside, the hotel offers beautiful river views and stunning sunsets from its upper floors. It's conveniently situated right by a subway station, not too far from the city center, yet surprisingly quiet. However, the 25-euro breakfast felt a bit expensive for the limited options available. Despite this, the hotel's ambiance is very pleasant.

The hotel is right next to the concert hall. From the central station, take tram line 26 for one stop, then it's a 200-meter walk across the bridge to the ground floor on the other side. They gave me a river view room, and the scenery was absolutely stunning – truly a 'wow' moment when I opened the door. Breakfast was also very rich and varied. I booked early, so the price was quite reasonable. It was definitely the best hotel experience I had among all the places I stayed on this business trip.

Pros: very beautiful lobby, like a piece of art! Free coffee, water with lemon, sweets in the lobby. The bed was gorgeous, perfectly clean and very comfortable. In the bathroom there are L’occitane cosmetics, there are beautiful slippers and terry robes. Very friendly staff. Excellent location, on a quiet street, but 3 minutes from Dam Square. Cons: 2 cats walk in the lobby, on the one hand they are very cute and beautiful, but on the other hand there is a smell of cat urine in places. The room looks very unusual, many details, create a feeling of antiquity, very much an acquired taste. The window from our room looked at the glass elevator and the neighboring windows, so we had to close the curtains. It was very cold in the room, we tried to warm it up with the air conditioner, but it only worked in the morning. The toilet is icy, very small and is in a separate cubicle from the bathroom on the other side of the room. It would have been possible to remove the jacuzzi from the bathroom and create a full-fledged toilet.

A little far out from the centre but we did not mind the travel to the centre. Metro/bus stops were under 10mins walk, very accessible. The neighbourhood was lovely had plenty of convenience stores nearby including a Lidl and New York Pizza takeaway. The staff were hospitality and had room service every day of our stay. We were able to leave our belongings in the hotel as our flight arrived earlier than check in time and bonus was we were able to check in half hour early than the check in time. Room was equipped with mini fridge, coffee machine, shower, radiator, TV and AC. Only problem was from the second day there was cigarette smell sipping into our room. It was very strong and my guess was that it came from the bathroom vents, this was very unsettling as we asked for a non smoking room due to my asthma. Everything else was top notch

I hadn’t realised this hotel was quite so far out the centre of Amsterdam. It’s one stop on the train from Amsterdam Centraal plus a 10min walk. each time you travel there and back it takes a good 30mins - I’m guessing it’s as fast (& more fun) on a bike but this wasn’t possible for us. The interior feels very hostel, brightly coloured walls with football table and ping pong etc. the staff were lovely and friendly but the rooms were just a bit tired. We had a private room for two which actually had kitchenette, fridge and microwave (we didn’t need) but great if you do. It just feels tired - needs better plug points, lighting and the pillows were lumpy. Mattress was too firm for me and I didn’t sleep well. Great if you’re backpacking not so great for a couple of nights in Amsterdam as a mum and son. Needed to be nearer to allow time to get back and rest without an hour return travel and uncomfortable beds.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Eden Hotel in Amsterdam, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The hotel was impeccably clean, which immediately made me feel comfortable and at ease. Its location is fantastic, nestled conveniently near key attractions, making it easy to explore the vibrant city. One of the highlights of my stay was the stunning view from my room, which overlooked the river. Waking up to the serene waters was truly a treat. Additionally, the staff at the hotel were exceptionally friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed during my visit.

This hotel is new and well-maintained. It is conveniently located just 20 minutes by tram from the train station and 30 minutes from the main museums. The rooms are clean and comfortable. However, there were a few minor issues. The door to our room was extremely heavy, making it difficult for some guests to open. Additionally, the air conditioning unit made a cleaning sound during the night, which was disruptive to our sleep. Overall, this hotel offers good value for money and I would recommend it to others.

The hotel maintains a good standard of quality, but its only drawback is the location. It's quite far from the airport, so I'd recommend taking a taxi for that leg of the journey. Hotel flipper is a hostel style hotel from and is very suitable for young adults. The service is great , the lobby has a vending machine for drinks and snacks and there is a seating area available for people who want to bring food to eat there or just chill and chat there. The room itself is rather old and beds are very soft . Very much like school dormitory style. No lift is available so if you have heavy luggage you must take that into consideration. When the male attendant is around, he will offer to help you carry luggage up or down but most of the time . Rooms come with a built in hair dryer which is slow , kettle with some tea bags , towels, shower gel and shampoo 2 in 1, cupboard and clothes hangers. There is no aircon and room lighting is a bit dark.

Very prime location with just less than a minute's walk from Amsterdam Centraal station. Facilities are in good shape, staff are friendly, however, one of the two lifts at the annex building of the hotel was out of order during my stay, leaving crowds to wait for the only lift for 5-10 mins during rush hours was definitely not the experience that I was expecting given the price tag of the hotel room. Would suggest the staff to open the staircase for customers who don't mind walking up/down a floor or two for an alternative option instead of fighting for the only lift with other hotel guests with luggages.

It’s a very pleasant experience staying with the Muse Hotel. The counter staff - Teethor was extremely helpful and friendly. I particularly appreciate him for letting me check in earlier and helping me with checking the room details. The room was very clean, with everything I needed. What I loved was past of the window can be opened a bit— to let fresh air in, good circulation in the room. The location is great as the bus stop is about 2mins walking distance , from where one can take bus 12 to the main tourist sites including the Royal Palace, Old Church and Central station etc. And one can take direct bus 397 from the airport to the hotel. In addition, the cat at the hotel is cute and quiet. Highly recommend the hotel to visitors who’d visit Amsterdam.

There is a free ferry from Amsterdam Central Station, which takes about 10 minutes to reach the hotel. The hotel itself is in the shape of a ship and faces the canal, making it a very interesting hotel. When you open the window, you can see the canal in front of you. The room and amenities we stayed in this time are the bare minimum, but if you just want to sleep, it's enough. Next time I would like to stay in a room with the letter BOTEL.

The room was actually spacious, and the hotel is within walking distance of Sloterdijk Station, about 5–9 minutes from Amsterdam Centraal. The bed is comfortable, but the pillows are quite thin. The room was quiet, though a bit dusty. I was given a room overlooking the station, which I really appreciated. I only had one issue: the air conditioner in my room kept turning off every 10 minutes, so there was no air circulation and the room became stuffy, making it hard for me to fall asleep. Canal Belt Amsterdam|0.85km from city center
Excellent room, excellent location and atmosphere of the hotel. Staff however, too often, go according to the 'book', and find it hard to think and improvise on the spot. It's as if they are under trained. When checking in there is no need to ask the guest to fill info on the iPad. You have this info, to stay in touch, already. Don't burden the weary traveler with trivial nonsense. If the sun shines, finally after weeks of grey and rain, and a guest sees the patio with tables in the sun, and this guest wants to have tea in the sun outside in the patio, this has to be a possibility. Don't say, well it's not the season so it's closed, it doesn't make sense, you're a top hotel, not the vander Valk. Improvise, think on your feet, explain that he is welcome to sit there and that his tea will be brought out, but it might take a few minutes longer. This way the guest feels listened to and that the moon is even possible. The kitchen is incredible, the food is wonderful. Last evening I had dinner at the Jansz., two ladies working, were very kind, helpful and attentive, they understood the delicate balance between asking how things are going and leaving the guest alone. I want them to know i appreciate them. Please extend my gratitude to them. Also the Asian looking lady who worked during breakfast this morning, was excellent. Please let her know as well. Finally, the staff at the entrance - getting cabs etc. - are great. Some of the male staff are too - in Dutch, popy yoopy. I am your guest and not your friend. That's all, and that's enough. Thank you for a great stay and I hope to come back again when I am back in the Netherlands. Kind regards, Diederik Lugt

A stylish design hotel next to the canal, with a good location, it takes more than 15 minutes to walk to the Central Station, Dam Square, Van Gogh Museum, Rijksmuseum and Anne Frank House. The hotel service is very good, indeed very good. The room facilities are equipped with bathrobes, etc. according to 5 stars. However, the hygiene is average, and the shower room smells like urine. I don't know if the cleaning staff went to the toilet in it, because there was no smell on the first day, but on the second day. The room was not cleaned on the second day, but the bed was made. Nothing was repaired, and the bathrobes were not put away. The slippers were also placed on the sofa. What kind of operation is this? ? ? ? ? The room is spacious and hotel is in a quiet location. It’s good for a relax or business trip but not recommended for Executive Room. I booked an Executive King room with lounge access. There was no executive counter or express checkin and check out for Executive room guests. I am sad that my executive room was on 5/F whilst the executive lounge is located on 22/F. The lounge provided very limited of food during breakfast, tea and evening cocktails. The coffee machine was broken and food was out of stock frequently. I pre-paid my hotel accommodation, the staff confirmed that during my check-in but they asked me to pay my room during my checkout. It took me some time to talk to manager and settle it.

Waldorf Amsterdam. The location has nothing to say, just by the Gentleman's Canal, an old European house.1.2-1.5 kilometers from several major museums, within 20 minutes walk (the three-story canal and each few steps have a cute bridge and a small house like chocolate on the shore make the journey shorter). First-class service, breakfast is very good, smoked salmon and ham are made by themselves, the taste is very good, but the room meal is difficult to say 😭; Room hygiene is also an absolute standard. The floor of the light white bathroom, bathtub, shower, countertop, and anywhere can not find a trace of uncleanness. The cleaning waiter is still so haunted (like the high-end hotels in Hong Kong and Tokyo); The bath is a full set of large bottles of Aesop, put it directly; basically, except for the expensive, there is nothing wrong with ~ I will consider living in Amsterdam next time.

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my disappointment regarding our recent stay at your hotel, which we chose based on its high ratings and positive reviews. During our two-night stay with my family, we were shocked to experience a theft of our entire luggage from our BMW X7, parked right outside your hotel, on the night of April 17th to 18th. The security footage clearly shows multiple instances where the car alarm was triggered as thieves broke the windows and stole our valuables and suitcases. As residents of Belgium and professionals in architecture, we frequently visit Amsterdam for work. This is the first time we have encountered such a situation, and we were dismayed that throughout the night, neither hotel staff nor the police reached out to us to ensure the safety of your guests.  Had I known that such an incident could occur, I would have undoubtedly chosen another hotel. I feel compelled to share this experience through various review platforms to inform potential guests about the security issues at your establishment. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I hope that steps will be taken to improve the safety and security for your guests in the future.

I spent a long time choosing a hotel before coming to the Netherlands. Hotels in Amsterdam are really expensive! Much more expensive than other cities in Europe... In the end, I gritted my teeth and booked the InterContinental, and stayed for eight days. It's really good, very close to the subway station, and there is a big supermarket half a stop away for supplies. Trams to several important attractions also stop at the door. Be sure to book a canal view room, although it's a little more expensive, but the view outside the window is really great! The lady at the front desk was very enthusiastic and gave me a map. She carefully took the map and helped me explain the main attractions.
