Haeundae/Centum City Busan|11.98km from city center
The location was incredibly convenient; you could spot the hotel right after exiting the subway. It was also just about a 10-minute walk to Haeundae Beach. However, the only downside was a mirror positioned right next to the toilet. The front desk explained that it was for a maintenance access panel. Later, the hotel staff kindly brought some cardboard to cover it up.

The hotel is very close to the beach, making it super convenient for shopping, dining, and playing in the sand. The Haeundae Sky Capsule is also within walking distance. The outdoor infinity pool overlooks the ocean, offering breathtaking views. The hotel's front desk staff were also incredibly welcoming.

Stayed at Arban hotel for 4 nights, was allocated the room on floor 11 and had a good and restful night sleep. Things I like - one king sized bed and one single bed. Good for my mum and myself. - I love the LG steaming cabinet(ideal for those who are there for a longer period). - near to many eateries/restaurants. Things I didn’t like - there is no door for the toilet, really strange. Was given the option of hanging up a shower curtain (however staff will expect you to retrieve it from the front desk and expect you to hang up on your own). I guess this is what to expect from a 3 star hotel. - front desk staff are not very helpful and lukewarm attitude. (I ask them about luggage delivery and staff just handed a sign and ask my to check it out myself). Couldn’t ask too many questions as he didn’t seem happy to help. - only small bar soap is provided, no toothbrush/toothpaste. There was even a used shower cap hanging in our toilet when we checked in. -didn’t like the recycled room slippers provided. (Didn’t feel hygienic). - there was a music festival happening outside the hotel on the day I was checking out and taxi couldn’t stop outside the hotel. - no proper hotel lobby

The hotel room is incredibly spacious, which was a pleasant surprise. However, the ”king-size bed” was actually two double beds pushed together, which wasn’t the most ideal setup. On a positive note, I absolutely loved the toiletries provided—shampoo, conditioner, and body wash—all packaged in a cute, environmentally friendly way. The bathtub offered a partial sea view, but being on the second floor, it did have a downside: people on the ground floor could potentially look up and see you if you took a bath during the daytime.

Songdo Busan|4.72km from city center
The room price was a bit on the expensive side, and the room itself was quite small and rather basic. While the amenities were comprehensive, the water pressure in the shower was very low. What was really frustrating was the air conditioning unit positioned directly above the bed; the draft blew straight onto my entire body, giving me a headache. I woke up multiple times at night to try and adjust it, but to no avail. The sound insulation of the doors and windows was poor, making it quite noisy both in the mornings and evenings due to its close proximity to the beach. The only redeeming quality was the direct sea view, with the ocean cable car clearly visible. It was very easy to access the beach, so in the evening, you could simply slip on some sandals and stroll along the shore, listening to the waves and feeling the sea breeze. Plus, there were quite a few dining options nearby.

My stay this time completely exceeded my expectations! The hotel boasts a fantastic location, just a 5-minute walk from the subway station, making it incredibly convenient for dining and shopping. The lady at the front desk was incredibly sweet, and check-in was a breeze. She even thoughtfully provided tips for exploring the area. The room was sparkling clean, and the bedding was so soft and comfortable that I fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow. The shower had great water pressure and consistent hot water, which was perfect for washing away all the day's fatigue. The breakfast spread was incredibly rich, with both Western and Chinese options; the freshly made wontons were absolutely delicious! Upon check-out, I discovered I'd left my charger in the room. I called them, and they quickly helped me find it and even mailed it to me free of charge. For such an excellent value-for-money hotel, I will definitely stay here again on my next visit!

Haeundae/Centum City Busan|11.93km from city center
Location: Excellent. RIght beside Haeundae Metro Station and the main Haeundae shopping belt. 5 mins walk to Haeundae Beach and Haeundae market. Room: I booked a Suite Deluxe Twin. Room was spacious with living room, sofa etc. However, the sofa does not seem clean and was also dated, so I did not even touch it. For the room, it comes with balcony, but the windows are very dirty. So I did not even touch it as well. Breakfast: Did not bother with the breakfast as it was a semi-buffet(main dish + free flow of salads etc), so I actually went to the opposite Ramada Hotel for breakfast. There's also a egg drop on Level 1 but the queue is crazy, since it seemed to be the only decent option for the guest. Amenities/Food: Plenty of restaurants withing walking distance. So, no complaints. Others: The hotel was actually located inside a building with other hotels sharing as well, because it was in a 40 storey building. Any there were only 2 lifts serving the upper floors (maybe 21-40 floor), so you have to wait quite a while. Given the price I've paid, since I booked quite late, I don't really recommend it. There are better hotels around Haeundae.

would like to share my feedback regarding my recent trip to Busan, Korea. I truly enjoyed the entire experience and learned a lot about the local culture, food, and lifestyle. It was a memorable journey, and I especially appreciated the well-organized Max Out Tour, which provided a great opportunity to explore the city in depth. In terms of accommodation, I felt more comfortable staying at Nampo Hound Hotel Premier, which suited my preferences well. I would also like to commend our tour guide, Mr. DK, for his excellent guidance, knowledge, and hospitality throughout the trip. Overall, it was a wonderful and enriching experience, and I would gladly recommend this tour to others. Cheers Sandra Anne Chu

KTX Busan Station Busan|0.16km from city center
The hotel has a great location, just next to Busan Station, which is very convenient for anyone catching the KTX. There is a free laundry area on the rooftop, but do note that detergent is not provided (or possibly not refilled), so you will need to bring your own. The room cleanliness could be improved. The bedsheet had stains, and I even found a used eye mask pouch left behind by the previous guest. Toothbrushes are also not provided, so remember to bring your own. On the positive side, the room has a large bathtub, which the kids absolutely loved. Overall, the location is excellent, but the cleanliness and amenities could be better.

The hotel room was amazing. Clean and super spacious. The bed was very comfortable and everything was great. It has a plus point that there’s a convenience store on the first floor. However, I was surprised that we have to pay 30,000 krw per person for the usage of swimming pool and when we requested for some items to the reception we had to walk down to the reception. However, the room itself, I was very happy with the stay.

Busan|12.27km from city center
It was the beginning of a fun trip to Busan. If you don't include hot springs in your itinerary in Busan, it's not a close distance that you have to go to. It's the most inland area in Busan. I wanted to rest my tired body from everyday life and start my schedule in Busan, so I booked a 5-star hotel 'Nongshim Hotel' located in the Dongrae Hot Spring area on the first day to take a hot spring bath. The room I used was a modern deluxe room (a room that had been remodeled), and as a special benefit for guests, I was given a voucher for 2 people to use the large hot spring bath called 'Heosimcheong'. You can receive it when you check in, and you can use it until 2 PM on the day of check-out. The fact that there is hot spring water in the bathroom in the room means that you can take a hot spring bath even if you don't go to the large bath! Even though there was no special view, when you entered the room where every nook and cranny was cleaned to the very bottom of the bed, you could definitely feel the 5-star feeling, and when you looked at the small details (ex. mosquito repellent provided, etc.), you could feel that the meticulous management and maintenance were consistently carried out enough to compensate for the long years of use, so it was a hotel where you could enjoy a comfortable rest. There is not only a space to unpack your luggage, but also a table with enough space for two people to eat by having food delivered or packed. If you are planning a hot spring rest in Dongrae, Busan, I strongly recommend Hotel Nongshim!

This is my second stay at this hotel. It's super convenient, with a convenience store right downstairs. Haeundae Beach is just a 5-minute walk away, right through a small market. The hotel's facilities are a bit dated, and housekeeping is only done every other day. Also, the room's AC temperature couldn't be adjusted and was fixed at 24°C, which made it too warm to sleep comfortably at night.

Location and view are amazing, unfortunately I have to agree with the other reviews in relation to everything else. The hotel did not serve breakfast despite the website saying so, and the room and general areas are worn down or just not even finished. The room appeared to be half decorated. Also to note, the windows on the higher floors have no security locks and swig wide open…I was solo travelling but would not have felt safe if kids were in the room. The toilet flush didn’t work, the bathroom smelled strong of sewerage and the aircon also didn’t work at all. The lady at the front desk tried her best, but I wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you want to relax in Busan, there are far better places within the same price range.

Reception staff were not friendly and helpful. Room was big and clean, and housekeeping staff were polite. Take note that early Nov in autumn they will disable the aircon and only provide heating so the room remains permanently at 28 degrees - belatedly realised there were other reviewers who warned about this. Staff will advise you to open the window if you feel stuffy and hot. However, this means noise from traffic and the baseball batting cage located next to the hotel. But I guess noise is better than getting a heatstroke. Pretty close walk to haeundae station, and convenient to have a convenience store downstairs and McDonald’s across the road.

A great location and very convenience if you are looking for food and shopping. In front of the hotel has the bus stop which makes it very convenient to wherever you plan to go. Pros: The location is very strategic, just few steps from the beach and on the haeundae main street, near to all the restaurants, night markets and the subway station. They offer free luggage storage service also! Cons: Hotel itself is on commercial building, not just hotel itself. And can tell is a bit old, the most bad thing is need to stand on bathtub to shower, and water will still flow from bathtub to the floor and make the floor in the bathroom wet. And surprisingly never do housekeeping daily, stay for 3 nights, only clean our room for one night, other days just clean the dustbin and replace towel and water. It is a partial sea view, so do not expect much from the view ad if really want sea view just go for full sea view room. But for the price the whole stay is consider ok

The best decision I made on this Busan trip was choosing Lavals Hotel. Its excellent location and panoramic views completely exceeded my expectations. The hotel's location is a true gem. It's within walking distance of Nampo Station and a few minutes from a bus stop, making it incredibly convenient to get to Gwangbok-dong, Gukje Market, or Yongdusan Park. Right across the street is a tourist information center, which is super helpful for visitors. There's an E-mart convenience store downstairs, so you don't have to go far for snacks and daily necessities. In the evenings, there are local seafood stalls nearby, allowing you to immerse yourself in the vibrant local atmosphere of Busan. The room's view is the absolute highlight! I booked a sea-view room with huge floor-to-ceiling windows. From the 19th floor, you get a perfect panoramic view of Busan Port. You can catch the sunrise in the morning, and the port lights up beautifully at night. Even the rooftop bar offers the same magnificent scenery. The Korean-style bedding was surprisingly comfortable. The room was cleaned daily, and the toiletries had a fresh, pleasant scent and were effective. The free WiFi signal was stable, and practical amenities like coin laundry make it convenient for longer stays. The breakfast buffet deserves high praise. The variety was so extensive it was hard to choose! You can overlook the entire city while dining, and pairing it with Jeju tangerine juice was the perfect start to the day. The staff were friendly throughout my stay, and the 24-hour front desk was always ready to help. Even small things like booking a taxi were handled thoughtfully and efficiently. Furthermore, facilities like the gym and sauna are well-equipped, catering to your relaxation needs during your trip. The only minor drawbacks are that some basic room types are a bit small, the TV isn't a smart TV, and the shower area design tends to make the bathroom floor wet. However, overall, whether it's the view, location, or service, it definitely deserves a high rating. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Busan.

Hotel Review My recent stay at this hotel had clear highlights and a major downside. The positives stand out: the hygiene is excellent—clean and tidy overall, making the stay worry-free. Its location is exceptionally convenient for travelers: close to the subway station, across the road from Haeundae Beach, and with many restaurants downstairs. However, the front desk service was terrible. My flight arrived in Busan at 6 AM, so I specifically booked the hotel for the previous night (even if it meant wasting one night's fee) to check in between 7-8 AM and rest. I also sent an email to the hotel after booking to inform them of my early arrival. But when I got there, the tall man at the front desk refused me with a cold, unfriendly attitude without even checking my booking details, saying check-in was only at 3 PM. When I showed him my booking information, he couldn’t find it; he only reluctantly proceeded to assist after I presented the booking email—something that should have been easily found by just searching my name. He was indifferent the entire time, completely ignoring my tiredness from the trip. Overall, the hotel’s facilities meet expectations, but the unprofessional service from the front desk man really ruined the experience. I hope the hotel improves its staff training.
