A Great Choice in a Prime Location
Our stay at the Ramada Hong Kong Tsim Sha Tsui was a very pleasant experience. The hotel's location is its biggest asset, offering incredible convenience for exploring the city. We were just a short walk away from the MTR station, making it easy to get around Hong Kong's main attractions, and the surrounding neighborhood is bustling with restaurants, shops, and convenience stores.
The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, from the front desk to the housekeeping team. The check-in and check-out processes were smooth and efficient, and they were always ready to assist with directions or recommendations.
Our room was clean, well-maintained, and although typical for Hong Kong, it was comfortable and well-organized. We appreciated the thoughtful amenities provided. While we didn't use the fitness center, it's great to know that a good range of facilities are available.
Overall, the hotel offers excellent value for money. It’s a solid, reliable choice for anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-located base to explore the vibrant city of Hong Kong. We would definitely consider staying here again on our next trip.From$83

## Environment:
The hotel room was quite spacious and comfortable. It's very close to Victoria Harbour, and walking to Tsim Sha Tsui East and Tsim Sha Tsui MTR stations is also very convenient. I'm not sure if I got an upgraded room type, but my room even had a walk-in closet.
## Service:
The hotel room essentially met all my requirements. I chose a twin room this time because the king-size rooms were smoking rooms. Our room was on a higher floor, close to the elevator yet still quiet, and we could see a partial view of Victoria Harbour from outside. The front desk service was exceptionally thoughtful; they would proactively offer help whenever they saw us.
## Hygiene and Facilities:
The hotel seems to have been recently renovated. All the amenities are quite new and very clean, though the facilities themselves are relatively classic/retro.
## Breakfast:
Breakfast was a mix of Western and Cantonese cuisine. The variety of dishes was relatively rich, and the Cantonese dim sum was delicious. They offered freshly cooked pork rib or fish ball noodles/vermicelli, and the most thoughtful part was being able to add as much noodles or vermicelli as you wanted.From$188

This was my first time staying at the Royal Garden. The hotel is clean, has a beautiful pool, nice views, and a wide selection of restaurants. Every staff member presents themselves in a professional manner, they have sincere smiles and are extremely helpful, the concierge, bellboy and housekeeping staff are very polite as well.
I am especially thankful to Manager Bonny for leading her team excellently. Her team members, Polly, Ken, and Anson, all have great team spirit and were very helpful with our facility requests, as well as with the special arrangements for our tour. I am truly grateful and appreciate having them during my stay. I would definitely come back again and will surely miss their kind smiles and the feeling of being at home.

The room size was pretty good, and I think it offers decent value for money in Hong Kong. The only minor issues were that the lighting was a bit dim and the bathroom door lock was faulty – you needed someone to help align it to get it to latch.
The lobby connects directly to Langham Place, which is very convenient. I even stumbled upon a Kuromi pop-up there! Some of the facilities did feel a bit dated, which is understandable.
I didn't experience anything particularly standout service-wise. The 'welcome' feeling actually came from the security guard at check-in and the cleaning lady. The front desk staff also helped arrange a twin room, which was nice.From$218

The cleanliness our first room was horrible, pillows has bugs(not sure if is bed bugs ), when I called the front desk and ask the lady to come and check instead they don’t believe , the lady she won’t even step inside the room her self and she face expression wasn’t surprise and say will change us to the second room but there was black stain (didn’t take pictures. So changing to the third room, we arrive late like 11lish pm plus I have two young kids and a lot of luggage’s so I’m tired and say as long there third room has no bugs I could settle in. While trying to contact trip.com which they wasn’t helpful as much can’t even give me refund the rest of the night and say ask the hotel. The next morning I have to say the guy manger was much better help and trying to provide a great service for the worst experience I have and change us to a much cleaner and bigger room for us (I think it was upgrade) but I feel like the lady should had done that on the first night and shouldn’t had waiting the next morning and I need to ask for changing room bc the third room I realize in the morning it wasn’t the best for cleanliness like the mole in the washroom, table, fridge, and rundown appliance. The only positive thing I had at this hotel was the manager trying to help me to make my rest of stay more comfortable, but have to say the hotel itself is so rundown and not well maintain. Also other staff need a better training of dealing situation like this instead of feeling annoying.From$93

Prince Edward and Tai Kok Tsui Hong Kong|0.78km from city center
We booked the quadruple room for 3 of us, room was small with us getting into each other's way quite often. There is also no space to put luggages (we had 2 medium ones) except the window ledge which was lined up against the beds. There were mirrors reflecting each other everywhere in the room, including a mirror in the middle of the room where there was a divider for the tv (seen covered with a towel in the photo). Also there were 3 large mirrors in the bathroom, the only wall with no mirror was the door.
It is branded as an eco hotel, there is no water provided in the room, except an empty water bottle which you can fill up at designated floors in the hotel. The 2 lifts were super busy and was crowded alot of the times when we took it. Note there was also no hand soap in the bathroom. I thought it may have been missed out so I asked at the front desk and was told they don't provide any handsoap. So I asked for another bottle of shower gel to be placed at the sink, and was given a Johnson and Johnson baby shower gel.
The only good thing was - slippers provided were good and anti-slip. Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner were from Elemis.
All in all, will not be staying here again. The abundance of mirror was creepy.From$129

Facilities: The hotel facilities are decent, a compact space that has everything you need. It was basically enough for two adults and one child.
Cleanliness: The hygiene was acceptable, with regular cleaning every day.
Environment: The hotel's location is a big plus. Turn right out of the hotel and you're in Tsim Sha Tsui. Walk straight past one intersection from the hotel and you're at Temple Street, where there are many street food stalls at night. There are also many 7-Elevens and snack shops near the hotel, and the high-speed rail station is within walking distance.From$136

The first room I got was unpleasant. The hallway at the floor and inside the room was had a cigarette smokes. I was stay up for a whole day. Inside the room was shocked me! A lot of mirrors surrounding inside the room. On the next day I spoke with front desk and they changed the room to me as what I booked originally. Better view and cleanliness.

The most outstanding feature of this hotel is probably its ventilation system (since the hotel is relatively new, the AC and air circulation likely use two separate ducts). I originally planned to use the hotel's washing machine (laundry is $40 and drying is $40, not cheap). On the first day, I just hand-washed a pair of shorts and socks, and to my surprise, they were completely dry by the next day, hanging on the rack outside the sink! (I'm sensitive to cold, so I kept the AC at 25 degrees at night, and it only blew occasionally, so its exhaust system must be independent). I have to praise it. Shimen MTR station is very close to the hotel, and at Sam Do Restaurant next to the station, the triple-combo rice is only $38 after 7 PM. The vegetables are especially fresh and delicious, and they also have fish and shrimp! The prices are surprisingly good!From$144

🌟Pros👍
1️⃣Excellent location. It's only three stops from Austin (we arrived at West Kowloon by high-speed rail). The hotel is close to the MTR station, and there's a shopping mall downstairs. You can even access two or three other malls via connected pedestrian bridges – truly a 'city of bridges'. There's also a park downstairs with children's play facilities. Several markets are nearby, offering great value, especially for fruit.
2️⃣Spacious rooms. The twin room had two 1.5-meter large beds (this was the most important reason we chose this hotel). It's family-friendly with a bathtub (bring your own disposable tub liner, and the kids can enjoy a bath!).
3️⃣The hotel also has an outdoor pool and offers free luggage storage.
·
❌Cons🙅🏻♀️
1️⃣We stayed in the low-rise building this time. The showerhead in the bathroom was fixed to the wall (as shown in picture 7), so children had to bathe in the tub.
2️⃣We requested children's amenities like a bed rail when booking, but upon check-in, there were no child-specific items, not even extra disposable slippers (only two pairs were provided).
3️⃣The room facilities are a bit dated, and the cleanliness wasn't exceptional.
⚠️Heads-up‼️
1️⃣The hotel does not provide bottled water. You'll need to purchase it or bring your own bottle to fill up at the free water dispensers.
2️⃣No universal adapters are provided. You'll need to bring your own or buy one.
3️⃣The hairdryer's plug isn't compatible with the bathroom outlets; it can only be used with other sockets in the room.
Overall, for Hong Kong, a place where space is at a premium, it offers good value for money. I might try a room in the high-rise building next time I visit Hong Kong.From$124

This was the 3rd stay in the last 2 months. First I made a mistake and double booked our rooms. The hotel was very fast to cancel one of my bookings without any charges. On arrival, Vanessa at the front desk was very nice and helped arrange adjoining rooms for my wife and I and adjoining room for my 2 boys.

Stayed for three nights. Overall not bad, room is qt big in HK standard, bathroom is clean, but one safety issue - the bathtub safety handle is not safe, it's totally loose easily came out. Luckily I didn't fall down, just slid one step. Already reported it to front office, they said wld fix it.
The room came with coffee table w supply of coffee n tea bag. Also provide a safe n a fridge. Aircon was working well. Only thg not provided is teeth brush, haha small issue . No other complaint.

✅ What I liked
The staff were consistently friendly and supportive—every time I had a question or needed assistance, they responded promptly and with a warm attitude.
The room was clean, comfortable and felt well-maintained. It gave a relaxing environment after a busy day of touring.
The breakfast provided a good variety of choices and was enjoyable—a solid way to start the day without feeling rushed.

Booked the Empire Hotel Hong Kong · Wan Chai during the 9.19 sale.
First off, getting to the hotel from the airport on the A11 bus was super convenient, a direct ride.
The front desk didn't proactively tell me the specific times for breakfast and afternoon tea, only the floor where they were located.
I'm guessing the hotel is a bit older, as the room facilities felt a little dated. There wasn't a charging port by the bed, and there was a vent in the room that couldn't be turned off, constantly making noise.
However, the breakfast and afternoon tea offerings were plentiful and refilled very promptly.From$83

This was my second trip to Hong Kong, and I chose the Park Hotel again. The room and location are my top priorities, followed by the service.
This time I took the high-speed rail. It's just one Tuen Ma Line stop from West Kowloon Station to the hotel. There are many minibus stops right downstairs, making transportation incredibly convenient.
The hotel is about a ten-minute walk from the Avenue of Stars, and there are many malls like K11 and The ONE nearby, as well as plenty of unique local eateries. It's great for an evening stroll and exploration.
Initially, I was assigned a room facing the hotel's interior. Due to a personal health issue, I couldn't tolerate the low hum of the exhaust fan downstairs. I spoke with the hotel staff, and they moved me to a street-facing room the very next day. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful and patient, actively communicating and resolving the issue.From$138

Other reviewers had mentioned no issues with smell, so I chose Kowloon Shangri-La. I ended up being incredibly satisfied! The decor is grand and luxurious. The staff are enthusiastic and remember guest preferences. (I was among the first employees at Shangri-La Qingdao in '97. I remember during training, we were taught to always remember every guest's preferences. It's great to see that Shangri-La's global standards haven't changed over the years.) They made sure guests felt completely comfortable. The Horizon Club's breakfast, afternoon tea, and dinner offer incredible value for money, and the service is excellent. My husband and kids both said this was an excellent hotel choice. It's also convenient for shopping, and they even gave my child a gift! 💝From$321

This was my third stay at the Rosewood Hong Kong, and it was the first time I've encountered a room that smelled musty. Thankfully, after speaking with them, they were able to switch me to a room with a normal scent. Breakfast was excellent as always; they even gave me a box of chocolates as an apology for the slow waffle service. The lunch at The Legacy House was absolutely delicious, it definitely deserves more than one Michelin star.From$764

Hotels in Hong Kong are always very expensive in October due to the exhibition season, so every year I come to Hong Kong this month, I stay in Tsuen Wan for maximum cost-effectiveness. The Dorsett brand is quite good; I've stayed at two other locations, and they were all clean and tidy, with friendly staff. I'll definitely be back around this time next year.From$81

HongKong International Airport Hong Kong|24.17km from city center
A convenient hotel situated next to Hong Kong International Airport. The Regal Airport Hotel is a 10-15 min walk from the arrivals hall A to the airport hotel.
For some travellers who are on a long layover or on a business trip it is very convenient.
If you have a very early departure from HKIA I would also recommend as you wont have the burden of having to wake up early to commute to the airport as you'd just be a walking distance.
For those looking to travel into the city its not so convenient as you will need to take the MTR or a bus ride out each time. I'd recommend choosing a hotel in the city or closer to the main attractionsFrom$129

Disneyland Area Hong Kong|12.95km from city center
We stayed at the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel after previously staying at the Shanghai Disneyland Hotel, and the difference was clear. The Hong Kong property looks grand and the staff are nice, but overall, it feels less polished for what it charges. Shanghai simply delivers more value and magic for the same price range.
In Shanghai, guests get plenty of small in-room Disney gifts—little touches that make you feel like you’re getting something special. Hong Kong gives much less, which feels stingy given the price point. Shanghai guests also get early park access and a dedicated entrance that makes the whole experience smoother and faster. In Hong Kong, that same “exclusive” entrance is only for corporate guests or top-tier passholders—and ironically slower than the normal queue.
Food is another weak point. Everything at the Hong Kong hotel is extremely expensive but average in taste. It’s not about affordability—it’s just not worth the price, especially when compared to Shanghai’s Disneytown, which has plenty of solid non-Disney dining options nearby.
Hong Kong Disneyland does have a peaceful, nostalgic charm and fewer crowds, which might work for families with small kids. But if you want better park perks, more excitement, and food options that justify what you pay, Shanghai Disneyland Hotel is hard to beat.
In short: Hong Kong is elegant but overpriced and slower in experience; Shanghai is better planned, more energetic, and offers more for your money.From$336

Pros and cons:
Pros:
· The room itself was lovely and offered a great view.
· A special thank you to the housekeeping staff member from Mainland China on November 5, 2025. She was an absolute angel—always smiling, highly attentive, and even asked if there was anything she could do better. Her attitude was, without a doubt, the best I have encountered across thousands of hotel stays worldwide.
· At check-out, Front Desk Staff Dordon (not sure of the spelling; he is from Canada and was wearing a navy blue uniform) provided excellent service with a professional and friendly attitude.
Cons:
· At check-in, I specifically requested a room above the swimming pool, as that was the primary reason I booked this hotel after seeing the pictures online. However, the front desk staff member, Jimmy, assigned me a room in the East Tower, near the Ocean Park rollercoaster. Upon entering, I immediately realized it was not what I had asked for and called to request a change. Jimmy said he would check for availability, so I went down to the lobby to wait. After a 30-minute wait, I was finally reassigned to a room in the West Tower above the swimming pool—which was my original request. It's worth noting that all swimming pool view rooms are in the West Tower, not the East Tower.
· Unfortunately, my new room was one of the noisiest. There were two staff access doors directly opposite my room, one of which was for loading laundry, resulting in constant, loud door slamming. Furthermore, a drinking water station was situated very close by (the hotel does not provide bottled water), which created a continuous flow noise that was highly disruptive and unpleasant.
· I was too exhausted to request another room change at that point, unsure of how long it would take, and I had commitments to attend to afterward.
· Another issue occurred before check-out. On November 6 at around 11:30 AM, I called the front desk to inquire about the latest check-out time, mentioning that my flight was in the evening. A male staff member (with a Hong Kong accent, and not Jimmy or Dordon) replied abruptly, ”If you want to stay until evening, you need to pay an extra fee!!” I was taken aback by his assumption that I was trying to exploit the hotel's policy. It is common practice for hotels to offer at least a one-hour grace period.
· I tried to ease the tension with a light laugh, which he mirrored. I repeated my question, clarifying that I was simply asking for the latest check-out time, to which he finally replied, ”12:30!”
· This experience taught me that explaining the reason for a request can sometimes be counterproductive with certain staff, who may lack empathy and automatically assume guests are seeking special treatment.
Suggestions:
It appears that some of the male front desk staff in grey uniforms could benefit from additional customer service training. Working in hospitality requires a genuine desire to serve people. If one inherently dislikes interacting with guests, it may be time to reconsider their career path. While not all local Hong Kong staff are impolite, certain ingrained perceptions about service attitudes do occasionally surface.From$138

Great location, convenient for getting anywhere, with plenty of dining and shopping options.
I booked a deluxe sea view room, and the service was excellent. Upon check-in, a deposit was required, which is standard for most hotels I've stayed at, so I thought nothing of it. However, the front desk still patiently explained the reason. I hadn't used my credit card in a while and entered the wrong PIN, but the handsome guy at the front desk waived the deposit for me on the spot – so thoughtful!
Before checking in, I was worried the room facilities might be too old and uncomfortable. But the room I was assigned that day was perfectly fine, and the view was beautiful. The only downside was that the guests next door were probably having too much fun that night. From around 10 PM until I moved rooms at 3 AM, it was very lively and noisy, with loud shouting making it impossible to sleep. I called the hotel twice, and they reminded them twice, but it didn't help. At 3 AM, I was directly moved to a higher floor room to sleep (their handling of the issue was very prompt and flexible, which I commend).
When checking out the next day, the manager actually came over to apologize for the noise from the next room last night. This truly deserves a positive review! It successfully made me decide to extend my stay for another night, haha. The only slight hiccup was that when I wanted to extend, the front desk staff told me to check online platforms for availability because they had no rooms at the front desk. So I booked the room for the second night through a platform. Perhaps because it was the weekend, the same room type was 500 more expensive, but I extended anyway, thanks to the manager's enthusiastic service, haha. When I came back in the afternoon after running errands to check in, I found that the hotel had upgraded my room! It was so heartwarming and successfully kept me there, hahaha. Next time I'm here, I'll definitely stay again...From$200

Facilities: Since I got an upgrade as an Ambassador member, the room was quite good overall, especially the Victoria Harbour view which was fantastic. It's a bit small, but for Hong Kong, it's excellent.
Hygiene: Very clean and tidied up daily.
Environment: You can take a short walk downstairs to stroll along the seaside. It's about a five to six-minute walk to Tsim Sha Tsui East Station, and there are plenty of dining and drinking options nearby.
Service: InterContinental standard service. The bar staff downstairs were very friendly but only spoke English. Check-in had Mandarin-speaking staff, but the overall experience would probably be better if you spoke English.From$201

For those doing a Hong Kong and Macau trip, I recommend going to Macau first, then Hong Kong's K11, because it has a drum washing machine, a drum washing machine, a drum washing machine! (Yes, it's that important, I said it three times). You can wash all your dirty clothes from Macau in K11's washing machine, and drying is no problem either – it's a great amenity. I'm introverted and don't like interacting much with staff, but they were very discreet and kind. Oh, and the night view is beautiful too.From$634

Park Lane Hotel is an ideal location for me. Easy access to all amenities and even have supermarkets right at the door step especially during typhoon season that was god send i can honestly say.
Specially shout out to couple of the “Doorman” Sony and Awatar they have been doing fantastic job and make you welcomed and wanting to come back to stay in this hotel again.
Minor suggestion is that there are only handful of benches …. very uncomfortable even though every hotel is different but still
believe they are need to put more attention to the guests experience. MORE SEATING PLEASE !!!!From$307

Disney's Luxury Hotel
Okay, I guess no one really reads reviews anyway... Those who can afford it will book directly, and no matter how good I make it sound, those who can't won't book.
My gripe: The walls between rooms are very thin, so the soundproofing is poor. In the morning, the constant buzzing of a phone vibrating against a wooden headboard next door was so annoying! It was that low-frequency hum that just drives you crazy! I called room service, but they were hesitant and didn't dare to intervene, just playing mediator the whole time... Who knows if it was a phone or something else, but it just kept vibrating, damn it!
Otherwise, almost everything else was great. Especially after leaving the pool, there's a coastal promenade behind it, and thousands of meters of private coastline, which felt really special. It's suitable for those with energy to go for a run during a few days of vacation.
Hong Kong Disneyland generally isn't very crowded, and guests at the three hotels can use hotel pathways. The best way to enjoy it is to enter the park after 11 AM during the off-season (you can ride everything by 6 PM). Wait times for each attraction are 3-10 minutes, and many even start before they're full. It's much faster than even the priority passes during peak season, no crowds at all.
Everyone, buy all sorts of accessories and headbands on Taobao beforehand – you can wear anything! They only check for large amounts of food and big bottles of drinks. The accessories are all made in Yiwu, and the quality from mainland China is even better than what's sold in the park. In the park, they cost 169-249 HKD, which is enough to buy a super unappetizing turkey leg (take my advice, you'll regret it) or a similar lunch. They say they check for selfie sticks, but many people have them inside; I suggest not bringing one unless you want your girlfriend to film some **dancing videos that I like.
There's a shuttle bus from the hotel to Disneyland, and you can also take it to store your luggage. I don't recommend leaving Hong Kong Disneyland right after playing; the fireworks show isn't impressive enough for mainlanders... I don't understand girls' obsession with fireworks; it's just crowds, what's there to see?
However. If I come again, I definitely won't choose one of the three hotels. A hotel in Tsuen Wan for 1/3 the price is a much better deal, and the travel time is about the same. The money saved could potentially create bigger miracles in Macau 🙊🐶🐶

Service: I booked a deluxe sea-view room and requested a non-smoking, high-floor room away from the elevator. I checked in at 11 AM, and the official check-in time was 3 PM. I was assigned a non-smoking, high-floor connecting room right next to the elevator. Upon discovering noise issues late at night, I discussed it with the hotel, and they upgraded me to an executive suite. Although it was on a lower floor, the suite's layout was right by the sea, offering unobstructed views, which I was very happy with.
Environment: The Fortress Hill MTR/bus station is close to the hotel, making it convenient for getting around. The hotel is built along Victoria Harbour, providing unobstructed views, and the suite offered panoramic vistas.
Facilities: The bathtub was incredibly satisfying; both in the standard room and the suite, it was a great way to relieve fatigue. The hotel's pool was excellent, though unfortunately, it was cloudy, so the water wasn't crystal blue, which made it less ideal for photos.
Hygiene: Full marks for cleanliness, impeccable inside and out. I don't understand how picky some guests must be to give a lower rating... I stayed in three hotels during my six days in Hong Kong, and this was the best. A perfect end to my trip.
Thumbs up.From$219

|2.37km from city centerThis is one of the rooms in an apartment building in the center of the city. The location was great!! We booked a room for two, but I think it would be very tight for two people if you are big. It looked spacious in the photos, but in reality it was a very small room. It was about the size of a storage room, and had a toilet, shower, bed, small table and chair. We are small, so we managed, but the bed was probably single size. We asked for a room with a window, so we could get some fresh air, but if you don't have a window, it might be hard to breathe. The location is great if you just want to sleep, but the walls are so thin that you can hear people ****ing...lol. Seriously. Also, don't be surprised when you enter, as it is placed in the ******** room. If you go with a man and woman who are not a couple, it will be very awkward. You cannot leave your luggage in advance, and you will receive the password for the first door, the room number and its password by email about 15 minutes before check-in time, so don't worry!! The location is great!!! It is seriously the best, so if you don't mind anything, you should stay here. The price is cheaper than other places around, and it's not in Chungking Mansions so don't worry!

|4.42km from city centerWas only there for the night to catch sleep in between flights. The front desk was good and accommodating. They gave single use toothbrushes, sandals and towels.
The room is across the road from the front desk.
Toilet n shower is tiny but that is the standard in HK at this price. I got an upper cubicle and it couldn't auto lock. Was offered a locker but did not take it up. The cubicle had ventilation which I'm thankful for, although I'm a cold sleeper, it can get warm. Inside the cubicle you only have USB ports for charging although outside the cubicle there are power extension cords for your charging needs.
All in, this place is good for just one night. Pretty silent at night although I fell asleep too quickly. Really can't complain.

Great location. I used to go to the huge Wellcome store. And it was right over the corner.
Spacious kitchen area. But fridge was full with stuff from other guests as there 18 guests max in the very this one dormitory.
The was separate bathroom for women and men. And the men's bathroom was much more clean and usable than the girl's one. In the girl's one you can't close the door to shower and the whole bathroom is wet if you decided to wash your hair. So you need to hide your towels and cloths somehow. Plus there was no hot water in the sink, only in shower. And i had to brush my teeth with cold water. I don't like it. And there was no toilet paper. After i asked about, they brought it. So it was ok.
Everything is locked - your cube and closet. My door to the cube had broken. But the guy from the reception run fast and fixed it quickly. Service is on top!
