The aunt at the front desk was very good at the service. I saw that we brought the children. Although the room was small, we tried to make room and add extra bed. The surrounding area is very quiet and parking is free. The restaurant service couldn't keep up. We had to repeat the demand several times. At dinner, other guests will sit down and serve the bread immediately. But we have to ask. So, I don’t think it’s like sloppy!

Very good stay experience, the hotel is located in the center of the hotel, with a sea view outside the window. One of the bosses is a Chinese woman, communication is convenient, the hotel is very warm and caring. Our suite with a separate kitchenette for simple meals and a separate wash and dryer is very convenient for children sailing every day.

This is a very well run small hotel on Weymouth seafront. It is run and owned by Steve who was very helpful on arrival and throughout the stay. The rooms are modern having all recently been refurbished recently. The bed was very good and nice white cotton sheets. We will go back.

The location of the hotel is easy to find, opposite the beach. The surrounding restaurants are very convenient. Check-in was quick and easy, the room was clean and bright. Suitable for family travel, there are free rental toys for children to play with sand.

Myself and my 9 year old daughter had a twin room for one night. On arrival we were greeted by a friendly man that took our bags until we could check in at 4. They then took them to our room for us. The room was clean and all you would need, the water pressure is amazing one of the best showers I have had in a long time. Our room had hand wash, shower gel, shampoo and towels included as well as the usual tea and coffee. When we checked out at 10am I asked if it would be possible to keep our bags safe until I got the train home so we could really enjoy our last day, again the staff were amazing and said of course straight away, I asked if we had a time frame and I was told the doors get shut at 11 so any time before that, how amazing is that! I can’t say how impressed I was with the staff and our stay especially for the money. We are looking forward to coming again soon.

Had a lovely stay at the Fairhaven, fantastic position right on the seafront with the harbour and shops on the doorstep, . We had a friendy welcome, we had a lovely double room on the 1st floor which over looked the beach, it was very clean , the bed was very comfortable, air con was a bonus. Really couldn't fault anything, had a fantastic weekend and will definitely be back to stay. If you park in the Britannia carpark ,the hotel can validate the token for discount on parking, we paid £12 for the whole weekend amazing.

Stayed in this hotel last minute and from booking the room over the phone with the staff to checking out I can not fault this hotel. The staff are friendly. The food in the restaurant is lovely and the rooms are of a good size and very clean. We have dogs and this hotel is great for them and they were treated so lovely by the hotel staff. We were so impressed by our stay at this hotel we are looking at booking again and taking family along with us.

We have stayed at this hotel this weekend after reading bad reviews about this hotel I was really worried what I would find but it is the most cleanest room we have stayed in I am a accommodation cleaner myself I couldn't find anything wrong or dirty about it the reception staff were really friendly & helpful it is a lovely hotel I would stay here again

Stayed for 2 nights with my girlfriend and on arrival we had the option to upgrade from standard to a room with a 4 poster bed etc. We checked both rooms an took up the upgrade option. The room was massive with 2 tv's and a lovely view of the mountains and rear garden area. The 4 poster bed was great and bathroom was very modern and clean. The decor in the room itself was abit dated but it was OK didn't really bother us. Location is fantastic only 15-20mins from keswick village. The facilities onside are brilliant as there's a indoor pool which is of a decent size. It also includes a sauna, jacuzzi & steam room to relax in after a long walk in the hills. The staff are lovely and very helpful, Gemma in the bar was fantastic. The breakfast is nice that was included in the price. Overall we had a great time an will be booking again soon. From$92

Beautiful location with stunning views from my balcony room. En-suite room was very clean and tidy, had all the amenities required for my getaway. Loved having use of the shared kitchen/ common room area which was perfect for facilitating my dietary / medical requirements. All the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Front of house on my arrival were exceptional, explained everything i needed to know and check in went smoothly. Helping to carry bags up and down the stairs was highly appreciated. Having luggage storage on site was really useful for my final day so i did not need to carry it about until my departure time. The staff were extremely accommodating to my dietary requirements when i decided to have an evening meal in the hostel. My server gets 10/10 for getting the order correct (as it was awkward!) and 10/10 for entertainment/ friendliness. The whole vibe of the hostel was fantastic and relaxing which is just what i was looking for from this visit and stay. Highly recommended!From$36

Highly recommend - all main areas are accessible. Friendly staff willing to assist at all times. Very comfortable spacious bedroom with good walk in shower. Sitting room area spacious with plenty separate divisions. Excellent breakfasts and,in our opinion five star evening meals. Table reservations are well timetabled so that the kitchen can provide the best unhurried service. Exterior peaceful surroundings away from what can be a busy tourist area.From$205

We stayed here for 2 nights as part of our Honeymoon. The hotel looks Grand from the outside. We checked in and were given room 115. It was a nice size room but the bathroom was very dated, the floor of the room was at a weird angle so was uphill to get to the bathroom. Then unfortunately we didn't sleep as the mattress was old, thin and lumpy. Breakfast was excellent 👍 it was buffet and good quality so no complaints! We went to reception to tell them the bed was awful and they changed our room straight away to a refurbished one which was sooo much better! Room 117. All in a nice stay, the Hotel is a nice short walk from keswick centre and there's plenty of parking. We would stay aging next time we visit keswick.From$117

This is a historic building dating back to 1548, experienced 11 owners and is now a spa hotel
The hotel sits on a large area, with flocks of cattle and sheep in front of the door. The restaurant on the other side has a very good lake view and a large grass. Hares and squirrels often jump in the grass and woods. You can reach the lake by a small road or hike in the forest.
You can feel it from the elevator, the hotel is very old
The spa has a heated swimming pool, cold pool, hot pool, and an outdoor hot pool. It is really pleasant to face a large area of grass and woods.
The only thing to note is: check out at 11 o'clock, be sure to go to the spa before check out, after 11 o'clock to add 20 pounds per person.From$154

This is an amazing hotel, fantastic bed and great bath to relax in after walking all day. Staff were fantastic, very friendly, helpful and informative of the area. We had to order room service (additional charge) as we had 2 dogs with us, it would have been nice to eat in the restaurant. SOLD OUT

So check in time is 3pm and we arrived 2 hours early..got to front desk only to see that it would not be manned until 3pm due to staff shortages..no problem, it just meant I had to leave our bag in the car (totally my fault for arriving early).. Went for a walk and a few drinks round Keswick and returned to the hotel just after 3pm. We got checked in (room 4) which my wife recognised straight away as being the room we stayed in 13 years ago for her 40th..apparently the same decor.. Off we went for a few more drinks and returned to the hotel for a meal at 1930ish only to be told by the same fella that checked us in about 4 hours earlier that they would only serve residents..once we established that we were in fact residents I asked him what time the bar closes? His reply..”as soon as possible”.. One of the reasons I booked this hotel was because it advertised it's own beer garden so on a lovely June evening, sun still beating down when you might want a couple of drinks, in the 'beer garden' - the front door is locked at 2030 and lights out. After last night's trauma of not even being able to get a drink we went down for breakfast..honestly we are far from picky eaters but it was mostly undercooked.. Sorry for sounding negative so on the plus side...the bed was very comfortable and the hotel is actually in a fantastic location for exploring Keswick. So put it on that or not. Is thisFrom$78
