We had to change room 3 times, first room due to smoking odor in room as I requested non-smoking room, second room was so hot, 30 degree celsius and AC was running full speed, third room shower has drainage problem. Though the staff were quite helpful and switch and ur room quickly.

The location is excellent, close to BTS, shopping areas, cafes, and many restaurants, making it very convenient to get around Bangkok. The studio room was clean, modern, and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchenette and all the necessary amenities. The property is well maintained and quiet despite being in a busy area. Staff were friendly, polite, and helpful throughout the stay. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free. Overall, great value for money and highly recommended for both short and long stays. Would definitely choose to stay here again.

We had a really wonderful stay in Sukosol Hotel. The location is right outside Phaya Thai station, so very convenient if you are taking the ARL from airport to here. Thanks to Trip.com we had a complimentary room upgrade, very spacious room in the new building. The staffs there are really helpful, two things stands out to me: 1) when the doorman see us carrying heavy stuffs they will proactively offer to help us, this happend more than once. 2) when the staffs knew we had a early morning flight when checking out, they offered to prepare us a breakfast box since we bought the breakfast tgt for this booking. For location, there are several 711 nearby for you to buy stuffs. There are also several night market nearby which we really enjoy the local food there. Highly recommend to ppl who want to stay nearby with a good location and service from hotel.

A great choice of hotel. Real old world charm. This hotel is a grand old lady. This is not a modern hotel with new furniture so if you want that, don't stay here. There are two pools and the poolside restaurant has an amazing night view of Bangkok. The hotel restaurant prices are high but you can get cheap Thai food in the mall below. Bangkok biggest wholesale market is in the first ten floors of the building. All the things you see for sale in Thailand come from here. The only suggestion I have is that the cleaners could spend another 5-10 minutes on cleaning. It's not dirty but is a little dusty. We stayed in a two bedroom, which was great. Lots of space. The breakfast was pretty good. The location is central. I highly recommend you stay here.

Warning: potential health risks due to mold! Pros: -Staff was kind and helpful. -The pool is a cool oasis on the rooftop- a bit of traffic noise- but easy access to the small gym and room service. -The location is great for spending a day touring temples on the river! -Shabby but functional rooms with a fridge and adequate hot water and pressure in the shower. Nice shampoo and conditioner! -The breakfast is okay- lots of choice of cheap breads and cereals. An omelette station and a noodle station were highlights and the coffee is provided by an industrial espresso maker that is not too bad. Cons: the hotel really needs to strip the carpeting in most areas. We first had room 1210 and I had to sleep with a mask on! We arrived at 2:30 in the morning and I noticed a strong mildew stench but as the air conditioning had only just been turned on, I hoped the smell would dissipate. It was powerful and began to give me a headache so I got up and put on a mask around 3 AM. When i woke up the next morning, I realized that it was worse than I had thought and the smell was pervasive and probably causing lung damage. The first thing I did was report to Trip our circumstances. The hotel switched our rooms but did not compensate our time or discomfort in any way. The new room was a huge improvement but you can still see stains and some water damage, as well as carpets that need a deep clean. My recommendation would be to avoid this hotel until it gets the basic required remodels it needs to be safe and comfortable.

When i arrived in the room, everything was clean. But safe box wasnt working i had to notify receptionist to fix and their engineer came to the rescue this was at 2am. I also turned on the TV, all channels didnt have signal so i notifed the engineer/staff while he was fixing the safe box, he just unplugged and plug it back in, it worked. And another one is the phone, wanted to call my friend from the other room and noticed phone wasnt working. So i checked the lines. And the telephone line wasn’t plugged all the way. All were easy fix but i expect a hotel to have most things working properly. Wouldnt come back for me. But i think its good for certain people.

The environment and hygiene are both excellent. The hallways are quiet, and it's within walking distance to 7-Eleven and Chulalongkorn University Night Market. Although the hotel is older, the lobby and facilities are very well-maintained. The front desk staff are welcoming; there are steps leading from the entrance to the front desk, but they proactively offer to store your luggage. After checking in, there's an elevator below the stairs that takes you directly up to the rooms. The price is also very reasonable. Highly recommend!
