The apartment is located right next to the River Liffey and it is convenient to go anywhere. In order to experience local life, we choose to buy and cook. The apartment’s kitchen utensils are full, cooking is convenient, and the supermarkets around the apartment can buy ingredients. Eat very well! Beef and mutton are cheap and fresh, especially milk, cheaper than water, especially good! It is a pity that I forgot to take pictures when I first entered the apartment door. After that, I didn’t take pictures any more. We are four people, two bedrooms, two living room sofa beds, one room and one room is slightly crowded, but it is okay. Very good stay experience. If you are willing to cook for yourself, you can choose an apartment.

The Merrion is a Hallmark of service and sheer quality. We arrived to be greeted by a friendly concierge and the news that our room had been upgraded to a junior suite. Lunch in the Cellar bar was an absolute joy and friendly, well clued in staff made the experience more special. The room was fabulous, with every comfort you could imagine. The bed was so comfortable, as were the couches.I cannot speak too highly about the service at this wonderful hotel.

I cannot say enough about The Merrion. The hotel is beautiful. The hotels charm is wonderful. The entire staff so friendly and accommodating. Michael, the guest service attendant was the best. He made us feel like so welcomed. We got there before the room was ready so we went to the garden area and were amazed how calming the area was in the middle of Dublin. We will be back!

We have been welcomed by Gary, he's kind, efficient and gave us a lot of precious information. The room was perfect, the common areas too. Elegant setting, comfortable beds. We are a family of 4 and the hotel is close to a Dart station, so easy to reach Dublin centre in a few minutes.

It is a fantastic hotel! Loved the swimming pool and ambience there! 10/10 for cleanliness. Their shampoo/ conditioners and soaps smell so good. I actually would have to buy some from the same brand. Also, the hotel bar offers great selection of cocktails and other beverages.

Reviews From Real Travelers
We booked our 4-night stay at the Dylan Hotel in Dublin as part of a 2 city trip (we started with 4 days in London) through Costco travel (great pricing!), and were absolutely delighted with our visit. After a short hop on British Airways, we landed in Dublin, grabbed our bags, and cleared customs very quickly. Our driver from Devine Chauffeurs (part of the package) was there to meet us and we promptly departed for the hotel, about a 6 mile journey. Upon arriving at the hotel, we were greeted curbside by 2 people from the front desk staff, who ushered us in to complete a seamless check-in process while they transported our luggage to our room. Notes on the room: 1. We stayed in a luxury suite on the first floor (which is actually the 2nd floor). Our room had a nice king-sized bed, and two comfortable chairs at the food of the bed with a nice view of the TV on the wall, and a small table between them. In addition, there was a small desk for working, along with another smaller padded chair to use here. On the wall to the left of the bed was a 2 door wardrobe with ample hangars, places for your shoes and other clothing items (which could also be placed in the drawers of the low boy under the TV), a safe to store your valuables (we left our passports and extra cash in here), and 2 lovely Terry cloth bathrobes with matching slippers for our use. The TV has built in apps for YouTube and Netflix, although as Americans, our Netflix logon will not work in Europe. There are also about 20 local channels available, but of course we did not come to Ireland to watch TV! The bed was just the right combination of firm and plush, included 4 king-sized pillows of varying firmness, and a lovely down comforter which was just the right weight. You also have access to set the climate control in the room. This was helpful as we like to sleep in a cool room in both summer and winter. Finally, the windows were huge and let in ample light, but also had black out curtains and shears for adjusting how much light you wish to let in. 2. There was plenty of lighting, including ceiling lights by the door, lamps on each nightstand, and a floor lamp next to the wet bar/coffee set up. There are multiple wall switches throughout the room. There were also plenty of electrical outlets, and USB charging ports built into the light switches next to the nightstands. (These were USB C ports, BTW, so fast charging of cell phones!). Since Europe runs on 220/240V, we had bought an inexpensive voltage transformer on Amazon which worked perfectly with our laptop computer. 3. The bathroom was larger than the typical European hotel bathroom, so my wife and could be in there together without running into each other, and included a toilet and sink (no bidet), a long narrow bathtub and shower combo, and a rainfall overhead shower. Hot water and water pressure were ample, although I did miss the handheld shower which we had in London. And for the life of me, I cannot figure

My best friend & I stayed at The Dylan this weekend & I honestly cannot fault anything about the hotel or it’s staff. Greeted by warm & friendly reception staff, entrance to the hotel is stunning, toilets & interior design is immaculate. Firstly the hotel is stunning, decorated to the highest of standards and the rooms are beautiful, complimentary bath robes, soft bath sheets, beds are gorgeously comfortable and the pillows are fantastic quality, spacious bathroom with fabulous bath & shower. Room service food was IMMACULATE can highly recommend the Steak Sandwich with parmesan fries (to die for) & the beef stew & the champ mash…UNREAL. steak cooked to perfection, nothing was too much trouble. The staff here are honestly some of the nicest most genuine people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting, kind & knowledgeable and willing to help, Patrick who we saw at breakfast was AMAZING such a warm & interesting man who shared his stories with us over what i can only describe as the breakfast of dreams, the quality is unbeatable & service is 10/10 - the chef cooked everything to perfection & the portion sizes were so generous, we even had complimentary eggs royal and avocado to try as a treat - so appreciated it was delicious. We cannot wait to return The Dylan is 100% my go-to hotel now when we stay in Dublin, you will be hard pushed to find anywhere else that ticks every single box & i literally cannot say one bad thing about this place & its staff you guys are doing a fantastic job - thank you so much for making our stay just perfect✨

Amazing service at first arrival the doors were opened and I was greeted with very friendly staff who treated me with the utmost respect. The food was delicious as far as fine dining goes. The steak order was mixed up however we were given a new steak and complimentary drinks which was a nice gesture for a small mistake. We had massages and they were the best massages I have ever had in my life. We were given a tour of all the facilities and I really enjoyed my experience overall.

The location of the hotel is very good, close to the Fili River, you can take a walk by the river, a few steps away from the Halfpenny Bridge, the interior space of the hotel is not big, the lobby is not bad, there are comfortable sofas to sit on, the breakfast room is invisible The scenery affects the comfort at breakfast, but the food is relatively fresh and delicious

The traffic is actually quite convenient. There are aircoach and bus platforms within a few hundred meters of the road near the hotel. The large grass at the entrance of the hotel's afternoon tea restaurant is very suitable for running with children. The hotel is European-style. There is a kettle and a hairdryer in the room. On the head, the room is a double bed and the space is not crowded.

Trinity City Hotel is excellently located in the heart of Dublin, so for that I give it 5 stars. It has a fancy, almost glitzy lobby, and the staff are nice. But there was a problem that was difficult to overcome. The duvet (the bed cover) was oversized and bulky and made it too hot to sleep. And the pillows were fat as pigs. I tried (had to call front desk four different times within a six hour period) to get a lightweight cover of some sort and a flatter pillow, without any success. I tried to cool down the room by opening the window but it was ”fixed” so that I could only open it about three inches (to prevent people jumping out, I suppose). In the end I just stripped off the duvet cover (essentially the thickness of two bedsheets) and used that to cover me. For such a nice hotel, you'd think they'd be able to accommodate people who don't want to roast in the duvet or sleep at a 45 degree angle with the fat pillows. I hope someone in the hotel management sees this and they buy some lightweight blankets and some normal sized pillows.

The junior staff were amazing, senior staff were up themselves, location was great hotel was clean. The dining area was too small and for a 4 star hotel I would've expected my breakfast served, not help yourself style you would find at a travel lodge. In short over priced rooms no lesuire facilities and for 4 mojitos cost €50 I've had better value for money elsewhere. First and last time I will stay here!!!

I stayed for four nights with my teenage daughter on a mother-daughter trip. Got a great rate booking a few months in advance, and I am so impressed with the value received for the price. We were given a room with two beds on the top floor facing the courtyard- it was quiet and comfortable. I brought earplugs after reading some reviews about noise, but we didn’t need them. The bathroom was updated and the shower was great- hot and nice pressure. The beds were a little “creaky” but comfortable, and the linens were cozy. The hotel staff were helpful, the restaurant was good for breakfast (although we chose to eat elsewhere most mornings) and Darkey Kelly’s pub on the first floor had great food and music. The location is fantastic- we were able to walk pretty much anywhere we wanted to go. I really can’t find a single fault with this hotel for the price. Would definitely stay again.

Our group of 25 is on a Grand Tour of Ireland from the US. So glad that Cassidy’s was our first hotel stop. Beautifully renovated, it is a cozy, elegantly appointed hotel in the heart of Dublin. We had a delicious dinner and huge breakfast served in a private room. We walked through the fine dining restaurant, Six, to get to our meals. Six is seriously one of the most romantic restaurants I’ve seen. Many couples were enjoying the muted chandelier lighting, marble fireplace, fresh flower bouquets and fine cuisine (Note the 5 pieces of silverware on both sides of a plate.) My solo room on the ground floor was cool and inviting. It’s worth noting that, once inside the room you must insert your room key card into a 3x5 white electrical box that enables you to turn on the lights in the room. This was new to me and I walked back to the front desk to ask if the power was out. Simple instructions on the wall or given with your card might have saved a few folks from trekking back to the front desk. The staff is friendly and helpful. Excellent exercise room. Wether In a group of 25 or just two, you will enjoy the level of service given at Cassidy’s Hotel.

Stay city aparthotels are clean, comfortable, & practical! The waterfall shower and convenience of having a kitchen were highlights. I had to find a Hotel quickly in Dublin as my regular place was sold out. This was an incredible surprise. The rooms are advertised as smaller but honestly even though they are not large they are so well laid out it seemed much larger than it was. It had most everything I am used to such as a refrigerator, Hot water electric pot, a place to set my luggage on and hang up my clothes. It even had a decent sized shower and bathroom area. It has a good sized room safe, a fold down area for a laptop and quite a large flat screen Television with a good number of channels. The place seemed like new and was immaculate. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really good and well worth the price. Tucked away a few steps off the main drag so it was quiet as well.

When we arrived in Dublin, we had booked a room for one night at the start of our trip. It was a small room, reasonably priced, well-appointed and spotlessly clean. The room was facing Fleet Street on the 3rd floor and we had no problem with noise. We needed a room for our return to Dublin, later in the week. Since we enjoyed our stay, we cancelled the other hotel we had booked and returned to The Temple Bar Inn. This time we upgraded to a double room (corner suite) on the 4th floor. The room was huge and very nice. We really liked this place. The location was perfect, the staff was courteous and friendly, and it was clean. It definitely was not loud as others have said. We didn't try their restaurant so I can't comment on it. I highly recommend this hotel.
