September 2026: When I booked this hotel, I knew that the pool will be closed for renovations till end August 2026. However, 3 days before checking in, I received an email to inform me of this forthcoming booking. Buried deep within this email is a note that the pool will remain closed until end of September. This is really unfair to customers. I have booked this hotel early to get the best price and 3 days prior to my check in, Trip expects me to find another hotel with equivalent value! Anyway, I don't like this 5 star hotel. The location is not near to the centre of the CBD. The decor is also less practical. There were so many light switches without labels making it hard to discern what switch activates which lights. There was also inadequate storage area. Two drawers were provided but filled with hotel contents. I wished that the bedside tables have drawers. There was also no desk table to do some work. There is wasted space due to the big couch in front of the curtains. There was no setback between the couch and the curtains to draw the curtains closed or open.

They offered me a paid upgrade at check-in, but the room I got was a lower grade and didn't even have a washing machine. Of course, I had them change my room. Also, mineral water was only provided at check-in, which felt like a rip-off for someone staying multiple nights with a kitchen in the room. The location was good, with a supermarket on-site and a bus stop right in front, which made the other issues even more disappointing.

Juan at reception was incredibly friendly and proactively offered great advice on catching cabs and navigating transport around Perth. I also have an upgrade to a larger room. As expected for the price, the property is a little dated—but the apartment itself was very clean, The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and I really liked the high-quality bed sheets. The location is unbeatable, with a bar and a 24-hour supermarket just a stone's throw away. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay.

The check in time is only till 4pm, if you arrive late try to contact the property directly, I leave a comment on Trip.Com to inform property on my late arrival but I didn't receive any update after that, luckily I manage to contact someone on site to help me with, he share that he try to email and call me on the instructions to check in after 4pm but didn't manage to reach me. Perth Two-Bedroom Executive Suite | Spacious & Comfortable, Excellent View, Thoughtful Service My stay in the two-bedroom executive suite in Perth city center was extremely satisfying overall! Spacious Rooms: The suite was very large, featuring a master suite, a separate bedroom, and a guest toilet, offering excellent privacy. The living room connected to a large balcony, overlooking Perth waterfront, providing an excellent view. Well-Equipped Kitchen: The full kitchen came with an induction cooktop (heats up incredibly fast) and an oven (very useful). The kitchenware and bathroom were both very clean. The only minor drawback was a bit of rust on the dishwasher, but it didn't affect its use. Parking and Transportation: The hotel parking is $35 per day with unlimited in-and-out access, which is very convenient. Do note that there aren't many drop-off spots at the entrance, so you might have to wait a bit during peak hours. The location is superb, within walking distance to the Mint and the pier. Thoughtful Service: During our stay, there was a long-distance running event that caused road closures. The hotel staff was very accommodating, allowing us to return the parking key after the event concluded, which saved us a lot of hassle. Conclusion: This is an apartment that excels in space, view, amenities, and service. It offers great value for money and I highly recommend it!

The capsule-like structure, surrounded by wooden planks on the top and sides, felt much cozier and more stable than I expected. Above all, I loved that the bedding was incredibly clean and fragrant! Since it was a bunk bed, I was worried it might creak when climbing up or disturb others, but it was very sturdy and barely made any noise, so I was able to use it comfortably. The restrooms and shower facilities were also very clean and well-equipped. It was a bit disappointing that there was no shelf to place toiletries in the shower area. Personally, I was a little disappointed that the cereal provided in the morning had almost no sweetness. The lobby felt somewhat cluttered, and the furniture in the relaxation areas, such as the sofas, was old, making it a bit less comfortable to relax. However, the entrance to the accommodation featured a very large and sturdy iron door, which gave me peace of mind regarding security. Most importantly, I was satisfied with the most crucial aspects of a hostel, such as the sleeping area and the shower space. This is the place where I felt the most sense of stability among all the hostels I have stayed in so far. It may not be flashy, but I think it is a practical hostel that is faithful to what is necessary!

The virtual front desk here is quite illusory. They said the convenience store would be open until 6:30 PM, but it was already closed before 6 PM. The sign on the door said it was open until 8 PM... The code they sent for the key box was wrong, so I couldn't open it. Luckily, I was able to reach them by phone and get a new code to retrieve my room card. However, after 6:50 PM, guests can't enter through the main entrance and have to go around to a small door and back entrance through the garage, which is very inconvenient. The facilities are a bit old, and the hygiene felt just average. The soundproofing is poor, so it was a bit noisy at night.
