The hotel's location is excellent, right in the city center, with many tourist attractions within 3km. The ground floor environment is also very good, with a large lawn and a big swimming pool (though I didn't see anyone swimming). The lawn area is lovely. Soundproofing is average, but everything else is good.

This was my third stay, and I was here for 7 days. I feel the restaurant service has declined, especially at the breakfast buffet. I noticed a slightly overweight waiter who seemed unfriendly towards Chinese guests, preferring to serve Indian guests instead. He ignored requests from Chinese diners and was overly attentive to Indian ones. The breakfast order and serving speed were slow; out of several days, I only got my ordered eggs once. Big thumbs down. The restaurant manager also seemed indifferent towards Chinese guests. I'm not sure why, especially since there were so many Chinese diners.

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel, ideally situated in the heart of Thamel. The location made it very convenient to explore the area. What stood out most was the staff — they were both professional and genuinely warm, creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout the stay. The rooms were excellent: modern in design, spacious, and offering beautiful views. The bathroom was equally impressive, clean, stylish, and well-equipped. This hotel is just a few minutes' walk from the bustling Thamel area, yet it's tucked away in a quiet spot, making its location excellent. Situated on a serene alley with robust security, including at the alley's entrance, safety is well-guaranteed. The alley also features a convenience store that's open late and accepts card payments, which is very handy, as well as a Himalaya Java Coffee. The breakfast menu changes daily and is quite good. The only minor drawback is the lack of an elevator, but if you're on a higher floor, the staff can help with your luggage.

The room and area was good, but I experienced a scam provided by the receptionist. I have consulted the tour advice with the reception, the guy provided me an excellent two-day rafting package that called by a tourist agent. In the tour, that was a disaster, the tour only half-day with 1/3 distance of his presented tour. The cost he charged me is almost 5 times of the normal price in internet. I would prefer that should be a very special tour and different from I found in internet. That was totally scam and waste my time and money, it was extremely affect my plan and mood. I would report this experience to the concerned parties. It really a shame of Nepalese.

I had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel during my visit to Kathmandu. The property is beautiful and full of character, making it an excellent choice for travelers who appreciate traditional Nepali architecture and culture. The hotel has done a wonderful job preserving its heritage charm, creating a peaceful and authentic atmosphere that feels very different from a typical modern hotel. As an eco-friendly property, the hotel does not provide air conditioning or a refrigerator in the rooms. However, I did not find this to be an issue at all, as the weather was pleasant and comfortable throughout my stay. The staff were outstanding. Everyone was warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful, always greeting guests with a smile and making me feel welcome from check-in to check-out. Breakfast was simple and fairly standard, without a huge variety of choices, but everything was fresh and enjoyable. The yogurt, in particular, was excellent and definitely worth trying. There was only one minor issue in my room: the ceiling fan seemed to run at the same speed regardless of the setting, so even the lowest level felt quite strong. I never mentioned it to the front desk because it was not a major inconvenience. The biggest area for improvement would be the Wi-Fi connection. Unfortunately, the signal was quite weak and unreliable, especially for anyone who needs a stable internet connection for work or communication. Despite that, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The beautiful traditional design, eco-conscious concept, relaxing atmosphere, and exceptional hospitality more than made up for the small inconveniences.
