If youre looking for a sleek, ultra modern 5 star resort, this may not be for you. But if you want authentic Thai hospitality, traditional Thai-inspired architecture, lush tropical surroundings, and a peaceful beachfront escape, this resort is absolutely worth it. I stayed here as a solo traveler and had one of the most relaxing stays Ive experienced. Its also perfect for couples, honeymooners, and families. I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a sea-view hillside cottage even though I booked one of the more affordable room categories. The private beach was the main reason I chose this resort and it was exactly what I was looking for, quiet, uncrowded, and perfect for relaxing. I also loved the petting zoo, the beautiful pool, and the delicious food. Every staff member we encountered was warm, welcoming and genuinely helpful. Special thanks to Ms. Chuty and Ms. Kat at the front desk for making our stay even more memorable. They assisted us during checkout, kindly reminded us about a few belongings we had accidentally left in the room without ever making us feel rushed, and even allowed us to extend our stay until 12:30 PM, which we truly appreciated. Since our flight was later in the afternoon, they also arranged lounge access so we could comfortably wait in an airconditioned area until it was time to leave. Their kindness and thoughtfulness really reflected the genuine hospitality of the resort. I also appreciated the complimentary refreshments in the lobby, the beach bag provided for guests, the convenient buggy service, and the fact that ordering GrabFood was easy. My only suggestion would be to upgrade the TVs to Smart TVs. Other than that, everything exceeded my expectations. This resort may not be the newest, but it’s clean, wellmaintained, peaceful, and full of character. If you appreciate nature, privacy, and heartfelt service over ultra modern luxury, you’ll absolutely love staying here. Thank you Thavorn Beach Village Resort & Spa for making my birth truly a special and memorable. ♥️

Located near the airport, which can be seen as both a pro and a con. The pros: you save time on travel. It's beachfront, with good sea and beach during high season. The grounds are constantly cleaned, plants are trimmed, and everything is tidied and watered. The staff are friendly and do everything to ensure your comfort. My stay was during the low season, but the staff's meticulous care for the grounds and the high level of service were evident, which was a pleasant surprise. The area is large and green. The room is nice and spacious, with all necessities provided. There are many children's activities on site, though not all of them were operating during the low season. Breakfasts are standard, nothing fancy. Nearby, there are cafes, massage parlors, and small shops. There are also cons. The direct proximity to the airport – the hotel grounds end and the airport begins. If you are sensitive to noise and seek relaxation and quiet, this is not the place for you. Planes are constantly taking off, and the noise from the jet engines is inescapable. There is a break at night and it becomes quiet, but not for long. They say you get used to it and stop noticing, but for me, 1.5 days was enough; I doubt I could stay longer. I'm giving it good stars because the downsides are purely my personal feeling and perspective.

Very clean rooms, great for couples and girl groups who share and solo travellers. Nice an peaceful quiet hotel, not much going on and the buildings are seperated so the layout isn’t great but if your not fussed about just relaxing then this hotel is good

I had a wonderful stay at Graceland Resort—I can’t be any happier. I arrived pretty late at night, and all I asked for was a nice, quiet room. The front desk lady Jenny at that time of night was incredibly considerate and sweet .She upgraded me to a pool room, and I truly appreciate that. Also, there was a lovely cleaning lady Kanyakorn who cleaned me room every day and was very attentive and pleasant , she let me borrowed the iron exceptionally longer period of time😅Overall, I felt taken care of and very welcomed. The service and hospitality were excellent. The breakfast was okay—I’d rate it about 6.7 out of 10—but the hotel itself is beautiful. It has a couple of pools and it’s right on the beach, with many restaurants around. Hotel got a small gym as well which is good enough for few days workout and oh yes they offer complimentary half an hour morning trainings as well which was nice . I also remember a v kind gesture from them i ordered late night food and they forgot to deliver to bring and on being reminded the food and beverage manager felt terribly sorry and wanted to send free meal next day which wasn’t needed for me so I declined politely but they were so sweet they still ended up sending a fruit platter to room.In all , with such great hospitality, I would definitely come back to the hotel. Customer service was awfully wonderful.

This is the best option with great value for money.

I was extremely satisfied with this trip. I chose the Orchid Hotel because of its location and the big waterslide, though my expectations weren't very high initially. I'd seen some reviews mentioning the hotel being damp and moldy, but I figured that for the 300-400 baht price point, it would be acceptable. I requested a high-floor, sunny room on Trip.com. I booked two rooms, and since our flight arrived late, we didn't get to the hotel until midnight. The two rooms were in different buildings, quite far apart. At first, I wasn't happy and considered asking to switch to closer rooms the next day. However, the hotel upgraded one of my standard rooms to a pool-view room, directly facing the big waterslide. My child loved it and didn't want to move, so we just made do. I stayed on the third floor of building 1. While the room wasn't brand new, it wasn't as old or damp as some reviews suggested. When I entered, the air conditioning was on. I'm not sure if it was because I'd noted my concern about dampness causing my child to get a rash, but the hotel clearly made an effort regarding customer satisfaction. As for people saying the breakfast wasn't good or that there weren't many Chinese people, I think that's subjective. My whole family found the food quite acceptable; it was typical buffet fare. The small restaurant next door was convenient for lunch and dinner. The location was great, only a few hundred meters' walk from Karon Beach. The kids had an absolute blast on the pool slide, and my two-year-old even learned to swim in the shallow pool! A truly commendable point is that it was my eldest son's birthday on the 22nd. Without any prior notification from me, the hotel decorated our room for his birthday. We were out at sea all day, and when we returned to the room that evening, we found it meticulously cleaned. The hotel had fashioned adorable little elephants from towels, adorned with fresh flowers, and left a birthday card. Both the kids and adults were amazed! My son was overjoyed. It was his first tenth birthday, and his first time receiving birthday wishes from a hotel. I have to say, for a seaside hotel in Phuket, an old establishment like the Orchid, at such a great value, making this kind of effort – I am extremely satisfied. If I ever go to Phuket again, I will definitely stay here. This is not a paid review; it's a completely genuine and objective assessment, for your reference.

We booked a room with direct pool access, and it was absolutely worth it, especially in Thailand’s warm weather. We also really enjoyed the fresh coconut juice and mango sticky rice from the small kiosk just outside the hotel. It’s very convenient, with a convenience store nearby as well perfect for quick snacks. The beach area has a lovely atmosphere, especially the chairs under the trees, which make for a relaxing spot to sit and enjoy the view. However, swimming isn’t ideal as the water is a bit murky. It also seemed like some drainage from nearby resorts flows directly into the sea, which was disappointing.

For the latter half of our trip to Phuket, we switched to the Marina Phuket Resort, nestled between Kata and Karon beaches. The architecture is distinctly Thai, and the landscaping offers beautiful scenery at every turn. What truly stands out is that the rear of the hotel connects directly to Karon Beach. Come sunset, gazing out at the horizon, the crimson twilight merges with the sea, waves caress the golden sand, and the dark cliff rocks add to a stunning, unparalleled view. You can walk along the soft, fine sand or enjoy playing in the water – it's perfect. Next door, there's a restaurant that hosts fireworks and fire-breathing shows in the evenings, so if your timing is right, you can enjoy them for free. Secondly, the hotel's service is generally attentive and gentle, very much in the Thai style – perfect for a relaxed, slow-paced vacation. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Location is good to travel around Phuket. For some reasons, buffet breakfast is not available but we got our breakfast delivered right to our room! Awesome Sunrise view! They prepared our breakfast to pack to Airport too! Appreciate it and Thumbs up!
