The room was fully furnished with a clean, refreshing style, and the location was excellent. Communication from the hotel was also timely, which I really appreciated. However, there was one thing that was honestly very annoying: the seagulls on the rooftop and terrace were screeching all night long.

This beautifully interior designed town house is found in Princes Street, in the very heart of Georgian Bath. Built nearly 300 years ago. Circa. 1734. The house today provides guests with an historic stay whilst enjoying the luxury of modern living. Having recently being renovated from top to bottom. It is designed in a traditional/modern/chic style, very much in keeping with the period of the property. The space is designed to enhance guests experience of staying in our very special City.

The house offers five double bedrooms and three large bathrooms to accommodate up to 10 guests. This is not a party house, however well behaved hen and stag parties are welcome. The building is in a residential area, so all guests need to be respectful to both the space and neighbours.

All bedding is 100% cotton French linen. Complementary organic bathroom toiletries are provided. Free WiFi.

We have a good selection of children toys, board games, puzzles, books, dvd's to accommodate your evenings. Travel cot and high chair are available on request.

At the moment we have no parking available on premisses. You can always stop on double yellow lines for 5-10 mins right outside the house to unload/load your luggage.
The closest car park is around 5-10 minutes walk - Charlotte Street Car Park. It’s one of the cheapest options as well. The hotel is an incredible building which must take some maintenance. We booked a double room for one night and arrived at lunchtime with the intention of sightseeing in bath for a couple of days. The hotel was happy for us to park all day both days which was great. The check in process (after 3pm) was very easy and we had a very clean room with plenty of towels, 2 robes and slippers for the spa/pool. The double room had a king size bed which was very comfortable. The hotel pool was crowded and looking a little tired but was as expected. The outside heated pool was very nice and relaxing. We didn’t have any spa treatments or use the gym but both looked well kept and the gym had good modern equipment. We didn’t eat in the restaurant preferring to find a restaurant in bath itself. Breakfast was a bit of a chaotic affair with several hotel staff doing various jobs with no apparent coordination. The wait for a table, then coffee was long and then we had to wait again to order breakfast. The whole process of breakfast took well over an hour which is poor. It was clear that there was no clear process as some tables were getting their cooked breakfast before us even though we were taken to our table 30 mins before them. The little waiter man with his paper pad was a bit useless. When the ‘full English’ breakfast came it was a small plate of well cooked food but not really as described in the menu. In terms of portion size it was more like a kids breakfast. We weren’t served any toast either and had to ask for it unlike other tables who received it with their drinks order which seemed a bit weird. The continental buffet was a bit scarce with no bowls or spoons so we had to use our fruit juice glasses for the yogurt and fruit. The whole thing could be improved with a breakfast buffet under a hot plate if they haven’t got enough staff to serve it.

The waiting area for check-in is very British and beautiful. We booked a classic room, which requires us to walk through the main building, pass the garden, and come to the second floor of a stable. The room is clean and the toilet is relatively large. But the location is a bit disappointing. The high price and high positioning of the hotel make us automatically assume that the view of the room will be particularly good, overlooking the city of Bath. The actual situation is disappointing. Looking out is the street view on the other side, and I dare not open the window. The pure British white old man helps you carry the luggage, making you feel embarrassed not to tip. The restaurant is very delicious, and the cauliflower is especially delicious. In this place, you have to keep communicating and making requests. They can do better.

First of all, hotels are very difficult to find. Apple's own navigation is wrong. Secondly, the bathroom in the store is extremely small, and there is still water noise in the sewer at night. There is a problem that hot water cannot be supplied in the room No. 3, which was notified too late and cannot be resolved by itself. Finally, the parking lot is small. Although the parking lots in Bath are very small, this is the only hotel in the UK that has charged me 15 pounds a night. Seriously not recommended.

This is my first hotel booking with Trip and I must say I was skeptical at first whether it would go through. Thankfully, the hotel did receive the confirmation. Just needed to tell the receptionist your surname and they’ll be able to locate you in their system. We were passed complimentary cookies, which were really yummy. The bed in the double room was smaller than expected but it was still good enough for two adults. The rooms are not very soundproof so you can hear the outside cars if you’re on the side facing the city. But if you’re not overly sensitive, the sounds are acceptable. The 24/7 gym was fairly well-equipped for the space capacity. They had gym towels, sanitary wipes, and water refiller. The hotel breakfast was enjoyable as well. The restaurant had a good view. Overall, the stay was a really good deal! Would use Trip.com again.

Facilities: Perfect! The shower is spacious with great water pressure, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a heated towel rail in the bathroom, which was a lifesaver for drying clothes. The room also has a mini-fridge with complimentary drinks and biscuits, and a capsule coffee machine (though I don't drink coffee). Overall, it far exceeded my expectations. Cleanliness: Excellent, spotless. Ambiance: British-themed, with truly beautiful decor. From the common areas to the room and the restaurant, every detail is aesthetically pleasing and a delight to the eye. Service: Flawless. I couldn't find the main entrance, and the front desk staff actually came out to meet me. They were thoughtful, enthusiastic, and incredibly accommodating! Very good hotel, two or three miles away from the center of Bath. The bathroom of the hotel is very large, and the large stainless steel bathtub amazed me. The refrigerator and mini bar in the room provide a variety of free drinks and candies and biscuits, which is very considerate. The self-service bar in the public area is also very distinctive, and the decoration is also very beautiful. It is a very recommended hotel. The only thing that needs to be improved is that the room is quite large, enough to choose a wider bed. The bed width written on Ctrip is 1.8 meters, but it is actually only 1.5 meters, and the King size bed here is 1.5 meters. I guess Ctrip made a mistake.

The hotel is situated on a beautiful road with amazing buildings surrounding it. It is pretty much a stone’s throw away from where all of the shops, bars, and cafes are. The staff are extremely friendly, always smiling as they greet you. They act professionally and even give you ideas and suggestions for tours. The room we had wonderfully tall walls and high ceiling, however, the carpet for the floor hurt our feet to walk on, so I would suggest taking slippers (we did not take any unfortunately). All in all, it was a great place to stay with a delicious breakfast the morning after. Would definitely stay there again.
