I’m just a regular guy. I don’t make a lot of money, I’m a Paramedic. So, when I spend my hard earned money, I expect to get value for what I am spending. I did not get this when checking into this hotel. I have to say, the staff were friendly enough and for those who follow me know I’m really focused in on people who don’t take any pride in what the do. But this place, I can see what they like what they do. For example, I ordered room service: Ground beef (forgot it at the last hotel for my best friend Winnie) Pasta dish And 2 double shot Gin and Tonics ( it’s been a rough day and I won’t bother you with the details) Total cost $158…. Shock! They had already added a $25 gratuity to the bill (and I gave the delivery boy $10 cash on top of that) Our room was only $189! Oh, and parking is $20. Not even per day, but each time you went out and back in again. I give this place a 3 of 5 stars because the staff was awesome, but not any more due to the over inflated prices and the surprise I which I discovered too late. Beware!

The public spaces in this hotel are really beautiful. I had been here for several weddings but never stayed since I used to live in Columbus and have since moved. The lobby bar is nice and has good meals during the day. We paid a LOT for this room and were disappointed that it wasn't a bit nicer. Upon check-in we realized that the prices were probably jacked up for the Arnold Classic taking place at the same time. The room was OK, but the bathroom was small. Staff is friendly and the rooms are clean. Location is right downtown--although on the southern end--close to Brewery District, German Village, and a bit of a further walk to Arena District and Short North.

From the time we stepped out of our vehicle until the second we left we were very well taken care of by the staff. There were two very nice ladies working the front desk who were so kind they brought our Insomnia Cookies up to our room. We stayed for one night in order to see a Jackson Browne concert and the hotel was right next to the venue (The Palace Theater). This is a beautiful hotel the room was spacious the bathroom was big and I fell asleep looking at the stars on the ceiling of the room. The bar had the best Bloody Mary's I have ever tasted. The only minimal complaint I might have were the elevators seemed confusing. Some were for specific floors and others were employees only. At times we never knew which ones to get on. I would recommend the Leveque Hotel to anyone traveling to Columbus. This was by far the best hotel that I have stayed at in Columbus, Ohio.

This Hotel is Amazing. The decor is a celestial theme. They pipe a wonderful aroma throughout the hotel as well! It's not overpowering but, you def notice it. Our room was clean and the bed was comfy. The shower is HUGE! The shampoo and conditioner also smell amazing. I believe they're the same scent piped throughout the hotel. The constellation projector in the room is cool. The hotel was quiet and so was our floor. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The bar inside the hotel had great food and drink. The hotel is close to a lot so you can walk if you wish. We will def be back.

In the fifteen+ years of traveling for work, this was one of my very top hotel experiences! The hotel itself is great, and then add to it the outstanding customer service from every single staff member. My king room on the 6th floor was clean, large and comfortable. The only thing missing would have been a microwave in room as I typically have most meals in my room for health, time and financial reasons. However, they had two microwaves that were accessible downstairs in the lobby. I woke up in the mornings without back pain, which always tells me the quality of the bed. The bathroom was large, clean and had a great shower (no tub) with a rain head as well as a handheld sprayer. I didn't use the coffee maker other than to heat water through it to make my own coffee. Here, a Keurig would have come in handy, but I checked in advance, so I brought my own. Noise. What noise? None!! It was incredibly quiet and made for a great night's sleep - that is once I could turn off the Showtime and Netflix that was offered on the TV. The 6th and 7th concierge floor came with a lounge that's on the first (lobby) level. They had real eggs (!) and real bacon (!!) in the mornings along with other options, evening Hors D'oeuvres that were ok, and they said desserts later at night but I never checked those out. The lounge was closed on the weekends, but they gave a coupon for the breakfast buffet at the restaurant. It's all these things that make for such a great stay! Even the elevators were fast and had clean carpet. The gym looked good but I never had time to try it. My meeting room: we had about 50 people. Banquet staff was wonderful and made everything easy. On the first day they were helping me set up my microphone and projector, and checked in on subsequent days to make sure all was going well. There were large groups next to us and though we could hear them a bit, it wasn't too disruptive and we felt well taken care of throughout the seminar. The room was large, clean and temperature was good. Best for last: I realized on day #3 and #4 that I wasn't congested at all. Typically, by then I have a bit of ”hotel congestion/allergies” from cleaning products, hotel air, etc., but I had absolutely no reaction to this hotel! So, whatever products they are using for cleaning and laundry are clean and also, fragrance free. No weird or strong smells. The staff!! From start to finish, they were exceptional! Big thank you to Joey and Tim who both went out of their way to accommodate. The others, though I don't have names, were also amazing. Thanks so much!

I wasn’t able to get a room at this hotel due to it being sold out, but I stayed in a hotel just down the road. Although, I like the restaurant and bar at the Marriott way more so I came over here with some friends a couple nights after the Memorial Tournament. I’ve stayed at many Marriott’s and many hotels for work, and I can absolutely say that Tim and Chloe at the bar are the best two employees I have encountered. The drinks and service was top notch. They both did everything they could to make us feel welcome, special, and just make our experience incredible in every way. Even though I didn’t t stay this hotel, I wanted to make sure they got the recognition they deserved. They both made me and my friends week!

I choose this hotel for its proximity to Nationwide Area, as I was visiting for a Columbus Blue Jackets game. I arrived around noon that day. I was able to have the valet park my vehicle and was able to check in early that afternoon without any hassle. The room was clean and everything was functioning. The room had what I believe are barn style doors so guests could close a door to the bathroom and the sleeping area. Meals are not included with the room. There is a dining area on the first floor that has limited breakfast options. The hotel does have a rooftop bar. The bar was a very nice area, and the bartenders were very friendly when serving drinks. However, one view from the rooftop is that of a neighboring parking garage.

It was a really nice place and very modern'd out hotel. Even with a view of a hotel across the way it was still beautiful and comfortable. Wish I was able to seek out how the bar/restaurant was on the rooftop, but it rained the next day. Will book again.

Great to see the improvements that Sonesta has made at this hotel. We have stayed here in the past and this was an improved experience for sure. Assistance at the front desk was good. When requested to make a change in my room it was facilitated without any problem. Rooms are well equipped and spacious. Quality of WIFI in the hotel is good. With 2 elevators you can get up and down quickly enough. It is nice to see that the inhouse bar / restaurant has remained. Good menu and options. The morning breakfast is Okish; not really worth the money at the moment. So definately room for improvement here. All together a good hotel to stay if you are in Columbus!

An excellent site for the International Conference, comfortable rooms, great conference service, fantastic location in the Downtown. I want to express my special thanks to Tommy, the IT service technician. We had arrived late in the evening and WiFi was not operating in the room, the desk has transferred me to Tommy and he had spent more than an hour with me to fix it remotely on the hotel server

I never make complaint but because this was such a bad experience! One of the worst I've ever had! I've always heard that Hilton hotels were so nice. This hotel was so run down, examples: the letters and numbers are rewritten on with sharpie and what looks like fingernail polish, because they had fallen off all over the place, there's MANY patches of wall work from previous holes all over the rooms and some arent even painted over, the carpet peeling up, a lot of things didn't work like some of the outlets in the room, the ice machines (on two floors), the faucet had a constant drip, furniture was scuffed up, the walls all over the building were scuffed and marked up, outside the building was lots of trash, and the elevator wasn't working. They also upcharged us when we arrived without explanation as a sort of deposit if anything happened to the room. We payed a good amount of money to stay at this runned down hotel, then we weren't even allowed to have the complimentary breakfast which is completely insane. Breakfast is not complimentary for every customer, just some? I've never seen this before and I've stayed at many hotels and I'll NEVER stay at one of your hotels ever again. It was the worst experience I've ever had at a hotel. It looked more like the motel 6 next door than a Hilton.

stayed two nights for a conference and it was my first time in Columbus. Everyone was super friendly and helpful and I felt very safe. The check in was smooth despite thousands of conference attendees in the area, I never had to wait long for an elevator, the bartenders were great conversationalists, the concierge was sweet and helpful, the bartender at the hotel bar was so nice, the bellman and the valets were very friendly and helpful. Brian was so kind when helping me with my car both times and even offered me a bottled water while I waited. I highly recommend staying here!

I'm writing this review on the second day of our stay (Labor Day), rather than waiting until after we check out tomorrow morning. At this point, I don't think there is anything they can do to improve my rating. My experience here has made the ONLY vacation I am able to have this year very disappointing. I based my choice on a hotel for my 3 day trip to Columbus on three things: 1. Convenient location to my planned activities (right between COSI & the Zoo and Aquarium). 2. That there is an open pool. 3. The ratings on this site. I will first address the positives (the only things keeping my reading from being 1 star), then I'll address the things that will concern all guests, and last I will address the things that impacted my specific criteria listed above. First: The front desk staff of all shifts were all friendly, helpful (to their capabilities), and personal. The front desk lady on 2nd shift of Sept 4th was concerned for my quality of experience and helpful with my requests. All of the first shift employees on Sept 5th (Labor Day) were friendly and helpful... Especially the gentleman cleaning up from breakfast, who assisted me in getting everything I needed despite the fact I overslept and came out to get breakfast at 8:50am. The breakfast options were great: waffles, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, fresh fruit, and juice. The food was delicious too. The 2nd shift lady at the front desk on Sept 5th was as helpful as she could be (explained below). I cannot speak for 3rd shift on Sept 5th because that hasn't happened yet but I am sure any potential experience will be positive, based on what has occurred so far. Every one of these employees deserve recognition from management and the company. Second: When I arrived, there was some sort of large party going on. The guests were so loud and rowdy that I could hardly hear the lady at the front desk as I was checking in and they could be heard all through the hallways. I understand that loud people are not the fault of the hotel and, thankfully, the room was the soundproof enough that it was nice and quiet. The room itself is in need of an update but the decor was nice, the beds were comfortable, and it smelled clean when we walked in. The clean smell is a bit of a deception though as it was only due to the deodorizer the spray in the room after house keeping us finished. I was happy with it at first but the longer we were in the room, the more I picked up on things that weren't right. To start it with, there were no washcloths with the hand towels and bath towels (which I suggest people bring their own because the hotel towels are child-sized, extremely thin, and rough). I asked a member of housekeeping for washcloths and was told ”We almost never have washcloths”. I asked a woman who appeared to be the housekeeping supervisor for washcloths and she walks down to laundry with me and managed to dig out two nice quality wash clothes from a large bin of freshly washed linens and towels. Next, as

Front desk was really friendly and location is close to campus but that is about all I can say about our stay here. When we checked in for the game they didn't inform us that they would be running a shuttle to the game so by the time we saw them they were all booked up. We had friends to our room the first night for pizza and beer. The next morning I requested housecleaning for the room because we had pizza boxes and empty beer bottles and no clean towels. The response was sorry you aren't eligible for housekeeping until the next day! So I explained and they didn't care, their response was set the trash in the hallway and come down to the front desk for clean towels. For over $300 a night, I wasn't expecting to do my own room cleaning, trash removal and towel service! Yes, they jack the room rates up over double for game weekends (I think that's called gouging).

The location very close to Ohio State University is the biggest advantage of this hotel. At the same time, the service quality and attitude of the front desk are also very good, and the check-in and check-out procedures are very simple. The facilities in the room are relatively complete, but the area is small. If you live alone, you can barely make do, but if you live with two or more people, the experience will be very bad.

We were traveling through with our family on our way home and decided to stop in the area to see the Historic German Village. We chose this property due to it's proximity to the area we wanted to see and the price point for the hotel itself. The lady that checked us in was very polite and courteous, and the staff that we encountered were all very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, as well as the lobby, but the lobby has a split level entrance and the lift was not working. The staff offered to help us carry our items up the half flight of stairs, but we were only bringing in smaller items and therefore didn't require any assistance with that. The nice lady that checked us in recommended a pizza place for dinner and we ended up ordering there, it was AWESOME! Very grateful for the staff being able to offer dinner options that were more than just a chain place. When checking out the staff was very friendly as well, and we were overall pleased with our experience. The biggest detractor for me for the hotel was the parking situation. They don't have any on site self parking, and valet is $30 per vehicle. They are available 24/7 to be able to get you to your vehicle anytime, however (and the biggest concern) there is not a secured lot or garage they park in. It's just an open lot down the street. We were traveling with several thousand dollars of hockey gear for one of my daughters and this cause me some anxiety. I would think that for $30 per vehicle there would be some sense of security for the cars while they are in the care of the hotel and it's staff. Thankfully everything was fine and there were no issues, and I don't know the area well enough to know weather or not my concerns are founded or not, but I will most likely seek other accommodations the next time we are in the area (especially if we are traveling with the gear again). I would however state, that if you are traveling through with just a couple people or on business, this is a great option. Lower rate for the area then most hotels around, and it's clean with very friendly staff. The only big issue for me was the parking, but that's not going to be a problem for everyone. If I were ever to be in town on business or if it were just myself and my wife, we'd definitely consider this hotel again.

EXTREMELY disappointing; this property may check the boxes necessary to qualify as a 4-star, but it is decidedly not. There are better options in the same price range nearby. (The below has also been shared directly with Marriott properties) In order from arrival: 1) Small guest drop off area, without valet, and front desk staff do not consistently guide anyone to the same parking location 2) Front desk staff, while friendly, should not be at a premium property with rumpled and untucked shirts--this also extended to other staff encountered during my stay. This lack of attention to detail clearly shows in the other issues noted below 3) While the property overall is showing it's age (which would normally be ok), the common areas (lobby, Plaza restaurant, etc) had a distinct lack of cleanliness: having to wipe dead bugs off of tables, upholstery that is coming apart and/or clearly dirt-stained 4) Room cleanliness: bathroom and tiled baseboards severely scuffed, chipped, and/or stained. Walls that somehow were showing dirt (even though the wallpapering is dark silver striped), and the same upholstery issues with the furniture as in the lobby 5) Bed linens: the stark white sheets clearly offset what were previously the same stark white pillowcases, however the pillowcases were clearly off-white/yellowed and in need replacing Very disappointed. Would NOT stay at this property again.

The facilities are well decorated and the sanitation is good. The location is just behind the Fisher Business School in the north area of the school, which is very convenient. The staff is very helpful. Although breakfast is not provided, there is a restaurant on the first floor. The only dissatisfaction is that the mattress and pillows are too soft and uncomfortable.
