Super awesome! I booked a suite for three nights with my kids and upgraded to a suite with a view of Casa Batlló. The surprise was that I caught the light show of Casa Batlló on the last night. I could see the light show directly on the terrace of the room without having to go to the street to watch it. It was so awesome! The room was big and full of details. The fruits delivered every night were very rich. Champagne and cake were also delivered on the first night! Mandarin Oriental should be the best hotel in Barcelona. We walked to the three Gaudi attractions and Passeig de Gràcia was very easy to visit. I will definitely stay at Mandarin Oriental next time I come to Barcelona!

The front desk added a child's bed and upgraded a larger room. The charge is reasonable. Facilities: The hotel has a history of more than 100 years, and the facilities are inevitably a little old, but overall it is good. The equipment is not fancy, but very practical. There is a radiator in the bathroom, which is very necessary for winter stays. Service: Very good, rich and exquisite breakfast, the waiter's attitude is very good, and the greeting every morning brings a good mood to the start of the day. Environment: The hotel is in a very good location, in the city center, close to attractions such as Casa Batlló, Casa Mila, and Sant'Agata, and close to the city center streets. The hotel is located 100 meters from La Pedrera, which is very convenient for travel. Before I went this time, I booked a room with two 1-meter beds. Maybe the hotel did not have this room type or for some reason, the hotel upgraded the room; and then there was the breakfast , although there are not many varieties, the quality is very good! Next time you go to Barcelona, ​​you can consider staying at this hotel again.

Very spacious apartment and fully equipped; great base for exploring Barcelona. We had 5 bedrooms 4 bathrooms for a family 6 (two kids and my husband and my parents); it can easily fit another 2-4 people. We booked “ private chief” service through the hotel website( external provider) it was the high light of our trip. The chief Betsy threw us a superb dinner and with lovely atmosphere. A little hiccup at check out thought. We requested late check out the day before and the lady at the reception checked the arrival time of next booking and advised it should be okay with time and we could stay till 2 pm. In the morning when we re-confirm it with the reception Chris; we were told otherwise. He expressed the difficulty to have the apartment till 2 pm and said it had to be 1 pm. It was disappointing and inconvenient ( with two kids and two elderly) but we agreed to that and also told there would be extra 50 euro for late check out. However the lift was stuck and it took us 20 mins to come down with suitcases (without help) at 13:20 (20 mins later than we agreed) and we then had to pay 100 euro (the receptionist Chris claimed it was 50 euro per hour!). It was fair enough if it was communicated clearly before we made our arrangements but it WAs NoT. And what we are most unhappy about is the attitude of the staff Chris. He was unfriendly, cold and unhelpful; he could make better efforts in communication and instead of being rude.

Great hotel overall - great location close to the wharf and casino, great room deco (brand new, super clean, and spacious). If I had to be picky, only flaw is the lift is too slow (waiting time) and closes door very fast!

The hotel's location is perfect, allowing you to easily walk to all the top attractions, restaurants, and wine bars in the city. The concierge, Xavi, is a true gem. He listened intently to our personal preferences and provided fantastic recommendations, including a wonderful nail salon when I was in need of a manicure. Xavi's restaurant and wine bar suggestions were spot on - we enjoyed some of the best local cuisine and wine during our stay, and have saved those recommendations for future visits. The hotel itself is stunning, with a beautiful historic facade complemented by modern, well-appointed guest rooms and common areas. The amenities are top-notch, ensuring a safe, comfortable and convenient stay. From the luxurious bedding to the high-end toiletries, every aspect of the guest experience is carefully considered. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Barcelona, whether it's your first or fifth time in the city. We look forward to returning again soon.

Great location, close to the cathedral and gothic quarters. Quiet at night. Design - The hotel boasts fashionable designs and fragrances that go with the vibe. It’s clear that the hotel is managed by a professional marketer. Service - Staff was professionally trained and greeted guests upon entering or leaving the hotel. Amenities - However, the hotel is advised to solidify its marketing prowess with matching operational details. A big issue during my stay was the temperature of the hot water in the shower, which was not stable and fluctuated wildly between chilly and hot. It goes without saying that having stable hot water makes a HUGE difference for the stay experience, especially during winter times. This was a big let down. Also, the toiletries provided were chosen on the cheap and didn’t match the 5-star impression projected by the trendy designs.
