I went to Greece to celebrate my third anniversary with my boyfriend. Because last time I stayed at one&only in Montenegro, it was quite comfortable. Mainly because it was super beautiful. This time I chose O&O for four nights in Athens. Let me start with the recommendation index of five stars! The existence of a super surprise is the first choice O&O in Athens. After all, compared with Aman, the price/performance ratio is still there! The location of the hotel is not in the city of Greece. It takes about 40 minutes to get to the Acropolis or the temple by taxi. It costs about 40 euros. It is recommended that if you want to go to the city center, it is best to make it a one-day trip. Otherwise, it will be quite a torturous journey to the airport if you are caught in traffic jams every day. It takes about 30-40 minutes, but there are commercial streets near the hotel that take about 5 minutes by taxi, and there are restaurants and shops, so you don’t have to worry about being bored! The room type I booked is a king bed with sea view. The price per night is about 650 pounds. There is a discount for staying for three consecutive nights! Before going, I sent an email to the hotel in advance to communicate that I had been there for the anniversary. As soon as you enter the hotel, every staff member will say happy anniversary to you, which is really warm! Maybe it was too late after arriving at the hotel? ? There are no queen beds, only twin beds➕We just had our anniversary and they upgraded us to a bungalow of 1,500 pounds per night! No matter which room type you choose, there will be a separate butler when you check in. Use whagsapp to contact us. If you have any needs, just send a message directly and they will try their best to satisfy you! This room type is a small villa similar to a courtyard. Each room has its own swimming pool. However, when I went there, the water was so cold that I couldn't swim at all. We went out for dinner on the anniversary day and it was a great surprise when we came back. They prepared anniversary cakes and champagne for us. Zundu was beautiful! The scenery is really beautiful! By the way, I also took a look at kea island O&O. It won’t open until the beginning of April. I plan to go there for my birthday!

The room service is in place, the bedding is comfortable, and the facilities are complete. From the balcony of the room, you can see the changing of the guard in front of the Parliament Building. It's a pity that the room size is small. You can enjoy delicious food while enjoying the beautiful view during breakfast. The Acropolis and Parthenon are in sight.

One of the best hotels near the south beach, the rooms are small but designed with care. There is also a professional spa, which is worth recommending. The price is a bit expensive, but this summer, hotel prices in Europe have risen sharply.

When you come to Athens, you must lower your expectations. The city construction, transportation, and facilities are basically the same as those of third- and fourth-tier cities in China. Just come with the mentality of seeing the humanities and history. After a long time of comparison, I chose this hotel, which is only a 5-minute walk from the Acropolis and a 2-minute walk from the Acropolis Commercial Street. But success and failure are both due to the same person. We booked a small suite for nearly 3k a night. There is a super large balcony, and the commercial street is at the bottom of the building. It is very noisy. There are not many rooms in the hotel. There are welcome drinks when you check in, and welcome candies in the room. The gym is super small and can be basically ignored in the basement. The restaurant on the 6th floor has a good view of the Parthenon. It is a 2023 Michelin recommended restaurant, and the average cost is 1,000. It is recommended to stay in the hotel near the Municipal Square, which will be less noisy than here.

Athens Airport has long been my gateway between Ireland and Israel, and Sofitel is the only real comfortable option for an overnight layover. The location is unbeatable — you just walk out of the terminal, cross three zebra crossings, and you’re in the lobby. The hotel is definitely 5-star and feels it in cleanliness and comfort. The room was spotless and quiet, and I appreciated the complimentary coffee and water. However, prices are steep. Normally it’s around €400 per night for two adults and a child, though I managed to book midweek for about half that. Still expensive, but I wanted comfort — and got it. The booking didn’t clearly confirm if an extra bed was included for my child, and neither Trip nor the hotel replied to my message, though we did get the bed in the end without extra charge. Breakfast is not included in the high price, and €30 per person felt excessive, so we skipped it. Also, food options are overpriced — €22 for a “Greek salad” that oddly came with ricotta. We ended up getting Burger King from the terminal, much better value. The indoor pool was clean but the water was colder than expected and the size modest. The shower had fluctuating warm water, a small annoyance but tolerable for one night. Overall: great convenience and comfort for an airport hotel, but pricing for food and extras feels unreasonable.

The room is in a great location, in the center of Athens, quiet in the bustling area. It is worth mentioning that their breakfast is made to order, and it is of a very high standard. Their steps are the kind of old-fashioned and exaggerated luxury, but the facilities in the room should be renovated and modern.

The hotel's location is super convenient, just a few minutes' walk from Syntagma Square. The service is also very good and friendly, and the room equipment is fully equipped. There is a famous restaurant downstairs of the hotel, and the included breakfast is delicious. There is a bar on the top floor of the hotel, where you can drink while watching the night view of the Acropolis. Highly recommend this hotel!
