Our room with sea view had a really great view of the bay. However, the hotel has been somewhat in the years and once needed some relief. Unfortunately, the air conditioning could not warm and because it was quite cold during our visit, we have some frozen some and our clothes are not dry overnight. There was a Japanese buffet with fish and miso soup, as well as bread and marmelade for breakfast.
The staff was friendly and endeavoured, communication in English was not so easy in part.

A nice hotel located in the Sumiyoshi area of the island, which is filled with upscale izakayas, and the hotel provides free shuttle service to some of them. The dive shop was fancy and the operation was both professional and well defined. The dive boats were large and well maintained. The floating platform for boat access was a very unforgettable experience.

おばあちゃん家に訪れたような安心感のある民宿。玄関ではサガリバナが迎えてくれます。お部屋は4畳半の部屋に雑魚寝で有料のエアコンあり。洗面所やシャワー室は男女別共用で、リフォーム仕立てなのか綺麗です。女性目線でも快適とのこと。レンタカーも借りることができ、観光スポットを教えてもらえるので、西表島中を楽しく散策できます。今回は朝食だけにしましたが、地元の人も勧めるくらい夕食も美味しいらしいので次回はトライしたいです。

The only regret of this trip was that when we originally booked, we were told the hotel had a dedicated airport shuttle bus. We arrived at Okinawa Airport at 2 PM and asked the local ground staff, who informed us there was a bus at 5 PM. So, my nearly 80-year-old mother and I decided to wait a few hours. However, when 5 PM arrived and we went to the designated spot, we never saw the hotel's shuttle bus. Frustrated, we had no choice but to take a taxi to the hotel. It happened to be rush hour and raining then, so the journey took over an hour and cost a whopping 13,750 JPY. Upon arrival, we found out that you needed to book the shuttle in advance, but Trip.com's customer service didn't mention this when we made our reservation. We not only wasted several hours but also incurred extra expenses.FromSGD 80

1. The hotel adopts no reception, you must check in by yourself. If you have any questions, you can press the contact number on the tablet panel. You can talk to the service staff to help check in if you need to speak English or Japanese. The car is parked in the parking lot in front of the second floor for free. The parking lot is very large. We only have four cars when we check in, including our vehicles. If there is no self-driving, the traffic is a bit inconvenient.
2. The location is halfway up the mountain, there are many motels or daily rental suites nearby, I don’t know why I feel very empty, and I don’t feel very comfortable on safety concerns.
3. The room environment is the same as the photo. The room range is super large. The baby is very happy to run around, but it is also very happy to hit. The room lighting is dim, personally feel that the sight line is poor, the remote control is super insensitive, and it is difficult to switch or shut down.
4. During the stay, no one will remove the garbage, and you have to find a way by yourself or put it in the check-out.
5. Basic spare parts are available. The room is located at the highest point, so it is very convenient to open the window to watch the sunrise or sunset.FromSGD 80

It was made like a renovation of an old love hotel. It's neither good nor bad. At night, you have to unlock the entrance and exit yourself, so you should tell me how to do it in advance. Located near eateries, mall and restaurants and value for money stay. The rooms were large and the staff spoke good English. The laundry and dryer were commercial size so fast and good. Allocated a room next to the smoking area so could smell the smoke even though we were in a non-smoking room. Appreciated the guest parking. I LOVEEEE THE ROOM sooo sooo much! Self Check-in is very easy just have to make sure that we checked in in advance from email they send us before actually go check-in. Just have to put pin code / scan QR code. very easy.
One drawback is that the wall is pretty thin. I stay on the highest floor but still can hear outside noises but not so loud still acceptable.

His bed is a traditional old-fashioned spring bed. It hits the bottom as soon as you sit down, and has no support when you lie down! The pillows provided are so soft! Too soft! Too soft!
I think it would be good for up to four people! It’s hard to sleep with one more person!
Although there is a sofa bed, it doesn’t look comfortable to lie on!
If you insist on choosing this hotel, you really have to check in before dawn because the road is really narrow!
The check-in process may seem complicated, but it can be completed quickly as long as you log in with your information before check-in.
There was a really strong musty smell as soon as we entered the elevator, but once we opened the room, it was very clean, without the musty smell and bugs that other guests had mentioned!
