A well located accommodation on the Avenue of California. A lot of camping and ships. Deco is not available but very convenient and spacious apartment. Comfortable bedroom but the sofa in the lounge is unstable to sleep.

Fantastic hotel with great location. Rooms were lovely with a terrace. Lovely touch at night with a turndown service. Chocolate and gold eye masks. Spa and rooftop pool were great especially after a long day sightseeing. Rooms cleaned to perfection and all fresh towels and bedding. Staff were fantastic especially Samantha who checked us in. She was friendly and gave plenty of recommendations for eating and heading out on day trips. She also brought balloons and welcome champagne as it was a special trip with a lovely card from the hotel staff. She was amazing and is a credit to the hotel.
Location 7mins to the beach and 7mins to the train station. Perfect for exploring the coast.

The most obvious advantage of the hotel is its location. You can see the sea right outside, which is quite comfortable. There are also many restaurants to choose from around. There are no minefields in the room. The price-performance ratio is ok. I went there during the off-season. Great hotel and location but not necessarily a 5 star service for reasons as follows:
1. It took 6 hours for our luggage to be taken to our room (it was only 2 rucksacks) which we would have happily carried up to our room ourselves but they insisted on check-in for us to leave for them to do.
2. The rudest restaurant hostess Valentine we have ever met in our many years of travelling and dining - when my husband asked to book a table for dinner, she failed to look up from her notepad and barked loudly and aggressively the words ‘WHAT?’ at him.
3. Restaurant clearly understaffed in the evening and being carried by a few superb waiting staff, namely Ken, whilst others swan around busy with little impact. Food was great and timely (once you could order it).
4. Tried to order a bottle of wine with dinner - Two of the four white wines on the menu were out of stock.
Clearly some teething issues with this new hotel, understaffed and poor communication and training. A few excellent staff too. But seemed to lack any meaningful or visible leadership in key client facing areas, which the brigade seemed to need.FromMXN15,657

Firstly, I'm rating all my recent hotels together, so I've completely lost faith in Ctrip's hotel rankings. I'll mention other hotels later, but this one truly deserves its title as the number one in Nice. After rejecting numerous beachfront hotels, I booked a room with a large arched terrace. Beautiful sunset, a bottle of Grand Cru white wine, a comfortable balcony sofa, chatting with my daughter – it was unbeatable! However, in these room photos, there are actually three suites with sizes around 55-75 sq m or even larger. I think this one is definitely the best, but on the day of check-in, we were given a terrace room with a significantly different view and no sunset. The room itself wasn't particularly special either. Even though it was the off-season, the hotel gave us our dream room at 5 pm on the first day. So, you need to confirm before and after booking. Staying here was perfect for Nice. Picture one is the balcony from the first day; it might be comfortable in summer with the grapevines providing shade, but it's not very useful. Picture two is the one I highly recommend; the balcony is connected to the room. Furthermore, as a hotel enthusiast who appreciates various unique and luxurious hotels, most of the hotel staff were incredibly attentive.FromMXN14,655

I want to pat myself on the back for choosing this hotel; it was truly excellent. The location, service, cleanliness, and food were all impeccable. If you do choose this hotel, definitely include breakfast! You can see the ocean, and watching happy corgis stroll along the beach while you eat just makes you feel like a wonderful day is about to begin. The croissant was the best I had on the entire trip! The room had a bathtub, which was perfect for soaking away the fatigue after walking all over Nice. The bed was incredibly plush and guaranteed a good night's sleep, and if you're someone who hates being woken up by the morning sun, there are shutters on the window that you can close. The location is right in front of the sea; just cross the street and you're there. Place Masséna is about a 15-minute walk, and there's a laundromat about 5 minutes away. The hotel is located near Place Masséna, a very lively area. There are many restaurants, cafes, and bookstores nearby. It's also close to the sea, perfect for walks and sightseeing. The breakfast was delicious, and the service was friendly and prompt.
Unfortunately, the streets were extremely noisy on the second night, making it almost impossible to sleep from midnight until dawn. Of course, this is beyond the hotel's control.

Pleasant hotel in the heart of old Nice. The staff are friendly and there is a linked bar next door. A good range of food for breakfast although can't say that coleslaw appeals to me (it did to some!) Croissants are always better in France. Is it because they are so fresh.
Just five minutes walk from Garibaldi/Le Chateau Tram Station. The trams have transformed travelling about Nice and give easy access to the airport.

Overall, I was satisfied, but I kept hearing a 'ding-dong' knocking sound, which I didn't experience on the 6th floor a few days ago. I'm on the 4th floor now, so maybe they're doing some maintenance.

It's within walking distance to Castle Hill, the beach, the old town, the square, the flower market, and the food street. The room size is moderate, and the breakfast is simple but good, featuring smoked salmon. The service attitude is excellent. However, water wasn't provided daily. Our room lacked basic maintenance, the bathroom extractors did not work, the overhead shower did not work and the heated towel rail was stuck on maximum making use of the toilet beneath uncomfortable. The hotel environment is excellent, and the location is superb. Right outside, there's a bus stop, and behind the hotel, there's a tram station. It's super convenient to get anywhere. I stayed for 6 days and found it very easy to travel to Antibes and Monaco during my stay. Pascal at the front desk was very professional and enthusiastic! I really liked him.
