On the event of my husband's 70th birthday, I reached out to the Relais Santa Croce directly for assistance in creating a memorable trip for ourselves and 12 of his closest friends. Flora, and ALL the staff at this beautiful 'Palazzo Hotel', could not have been more helpful, accommodating and sincere. They assisted in creating an amazing 5 days in Florence, uniquely curated to all our needs - museum tours, wine tours in the countryside and fantastic restaurant reservations. Besides Flora, the General Manager and the excellent front desk staff....Carlo and the Food and Beverage staff, facilitated an amazing in-suite Welcome Dinner for 12 people, special group lunches, and a kept our in-suite hospitality bar stocked and operational for 5 straight days. All these services were done with exceptional professionalism but also warm and sincere friendliness. Even though we were a bigger party, and lots of 'moving parts' we were never made to feel that any of our requests were a bother, or not achievable. In summary, although we have stayed all over the world in 5 and 6 star hotels, and in many Relais & Chateaux ....I would consider this one of the top 10 hotels we have ever stayed in in regards to service. Thank you for a truly amazing trip.

Too distinctive hotel 🏨 This hotel is transformed from the real estate of local nobles in Florence. The surrounding area is very close to Santa Croce and Michelangelo’s House Museum. ✌ Rainy season, Gothic architecture, and ubiquitous nostalgia~

I really like this hotel. It deserves to be regarded as the most beautiful four seasons. There is a huge garden for walking. The rooms are large and beautiful. The pizza in the restaurant next to the swimming pool is also delicious. There is a shuttle bus to the famous street. I will stay here next time. Want to live

This is a wonderful stay and great help from the concierge when planning our trip. All staff so extraordinarily accommodating rooms beautiful and comfortable with every amenity buffet breakfast extensive delicious with healthy options bar and dinner very special beautifully decorated the location is slightly out of the action but its a lovely walk thru the narrow streets. The stunning building, the amazing rooms, the butler service.

The original booked homestay was more than 4,000 yuan a night, and I moved to St. Regis. The breakfast was great, the happy hour was excellent, and the piano player in the hotel in the art capital was quite unusual. Any song was handy. The room by the river was too small to help us upgrade to a big room next to the river. The hotel I liked so much that even the waiter came out of the movie.

Next to the old bridge in Florence, 403 river view suite, the living room and bedroom have floor-to-ceiling windows facing the Arno River, the location is good and the scenery is good, but the heating is not too hot. On the third day, we were upgraded to the larger family river view suite 405 next door, with a dining room for six people and two bathrooms, which is even better👍🏻 The hotel breakfast is also very rich. recommend!

It's hard to put into words how much my husband, toddler, and I enjoyed our stay at Hotel Lungarno. It is easily the best hotel we have ever stayed at and we consider our time there among the highlights of our time in Italy. After we left Florence, we found ourselves missing the hotel and the wonderful staff there--it truly felt like a home away from home. Every aspect of our stay was flawless, from the location, to the beautiful rooms and property, to the food, to the toiletries included with the room. However, it is the warm and thoughtful staff that make the Hotel Lungarno truly exceptional. From providing baby toiletries each night, to storing our stroller downstairs, to giving our son small gifts throughout our stay, the Hotel Lungarno staff welcomed our 20 month old son and it meant so much to my husband and I. If you are traveling with young children, you will not find a more wonderful choice. Every staff member was so friendly and helpful and truly went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable. A special thank you to Simone, Imran, and Giuseppe for treating us so well.

There is no where else I would ever stay in Florence Italy. The hotel Lungarno is more than a special small luxury hotel and wish I could give more than five stars. This hotel never rests on its laurels. This is my fourth time in 16 years and it only gets better. Decor is comfortable and gorgeous. The entire hotel gleams with cleanliness. The staff goes above and beyond in every aspect from checking in to sadly checking out. Opted for the Riverview Apartment on this trip and was wowed! Stunning…one private bedroom, living room area and striking bathroom with walk in shower. Small but great kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer…very helpful for a 9 day stay. Ohh and of course delightful views of the Arno and Ponte Vecchio bridge. Within walking distance to Everything! I honestly could go on longer but I highly recommend this beautiful hotel. Thank you so very much for making this stay beyond memorable.

The staff gave us a very warm welcome on arrival , most helpful throughout our stay. A good room, excellent housekeeping. Good breakfast to start the day. Very central close to the galleries and places to eat. Remember you pay a municipal tax when you leave. A lot of walking every one very helpful. WE ventured on the local train to Pisa which was an hour away well worth a visit. The Ufizi art gallery fantastic but get there early or else you will be in a very long que. Enjoyed sitting in the piazza in the evenings listening to the orchestra and people watching. Went to Napolene Trattoria for a birthday meal excellent then on to an opera and piano concert performed in one of the local churches near by, a lovely evening. Florenec is a beautiful city and we are pleased we got a great hotel.

In the historical center, the location is good, the old bridge, the Basilica of Our Lady, the Republic Square, the Uffizi Gallery, and the pedestrian shopping street are all within easy reach. It is convenient to walk anywhere, more than ten minutes walk to the bus station and train station. It's about ten minutes, and it tastes good. The hotel has two spacious elevators, which are convenient for large luggage; although the rooms are not very spacious, they are well-equipped, clean and tidy, and breakfast is good every day, especially the waiter will ask if you need a cup of cappuccino and feel at home. I will choose this hotel next time.

Resided 6 nights in room 215.The hotel is magnificently located.Ideal silence in the room, view on the deaf wall)).Fresh repair, very polite staff at reception.Concierge service is as good.Breakfast is also delighted with the politeness of the staff and quite adequate and small. One shortcoming: During the cleaning, they forgot to return the glasses to the room three times and once did not put the necklaces. Also upset that the air conditioner blows right in the direction of the bed.

Very good and charismatic place right in the middle of everything in Florence: shops, museums and restaurants, you can get anywhere within few minutes of walking. The front desk in very limited time arranged for us a short (we stayed 4 nights only), but not easy to execute program including a day in Chianti with 2 private winery visits (wineries from my list) and provided us with plenty restaurant recommendations. Which truth be told turned out to be better than couple of restaurants we found ourselves searching and reading reviews. The minuses. We were staying in a suite on the 2nd floor, which in Vecchietti is actually quite high due to high ceilings on each floor. The windows were to a side street and upon arrival we were assured that the windows are soundproof. But every night we were woken-up several times first by various partygoers returning back to the hotels/apartments and next by communal services collecting the garbage. The shower is tiny, has stone tiles floor and a big window that saw better times, which is letting in plenty of air from the outside. Even sitting on the toilet, which is located next to the shower door, (excuse me for details) one can feel cold air blowing from the shower door, which can’t be closed completely. On top of that one of the maids always found it a good idea to leave that window open for the whole day after leaving the room doing the cleaning. This being in November already. So, going into that shower was an ordeal every time.

The service is simply great! Feeling at home~ The service staff of the entire hotel are familiar with the itinerary of each guest. They send cleaning staff according to the travel arrangements every day. They are cleaned twice a day, morning and evening, and the services are very targeted. The front desk staff are sincere every day Send greetings, we are very grateful for the attractions and food recommended by the front desk manager~ The entire hotel environment is completely beyond imagination and dignified. We even bought the same fragrance in the hotel lobby in Florence~ After returning to Beijing, we smelled the fragrance The taste seems to be in palazzo vecchietti~ It is definitely a luxury hotel worth experiencing (̀⌄ ́)

From the attentive staff, to the beautiful room and excellent location, this is one of the most historic and serene hotels that I have stayed in. Wonderful job of incorporating modern conveniences into the historic aspect of the hotel. With a large en suite bathroom, the bedroom was sick! Comfortable and spacious , the bedroom was complimented by an equally spacious bathroom with separate tub and shower. Downstairs was a small, but equally luxurious bathroom (no tub but wonderful shower). Each day, we were surprised with a gift, such as Lavender spray or a bottle of olive oil. Delicious breakfast, and steps away from the Duomo!

An absolute jewel! The Hotel Bernini Palace is special for many reasons, but here are a few: Stefania and her front office team were amazing. From arranging tours to taking care of our money exchange needs, they really were top shelf! House Keeping was phenomenal. Our room was immaculate every afternoon when we returned Breakfast- The only thing that rivaled the servers was the beautiful room in which they served. We highly recommend this hotel!!It is centrally located.

Housed in a beautiful old building in a very central location. The character of the building has been well maintained in the public areas and our suite had lovely contemporary decor which mixed perfectly with the 18th century painted ceiling. Within easy walking distance of all the main attractions and plenty of restaurants and cafes. Great value for money. But best of all has to be the amazing staff - extremely friendly, patient and courteous and nothing was too much trouble for them. Would definitely recommend this wonderful hotel.

The hotel is located on the banks of the Arno River. The main entrance of the hotel is directly opposite the French consulate. There is a small square in front of the hotel. You can temporarily park your car temporarily and open small markets on weekends. Five minutes walk along the river bank is Uffizi Gallery, Old Bridge! The window opened in the room is directly opposite the Baihua Cathedral, Giotto's Bell Tower, and the church can be opened to the full view of the church. The left hand old bridge and the right hand Holy Trinity Bridge, the view is excellent! The bedding is comfortable, the room area is relatively large in Italy, classical and luxurious. The only dissatisfaction was that the booking fee was clearly the money for the river view room, but the front desk said that the reservation was only for a superior room. But polite and old-fashioned at the same time, because I emphasized that if it was n’t for the river view room, there would be no meaning to live here. The front desk said that I was sorry the room was full, and I could upgrade to the river view room on the balcony of the administrative floor if I added 200 euros. After expressing dissatisfaction, I asked to wait at the front desk for a while, but also forced them to check the room again, and finally got this river-view room without replenishment! I don't know if this is the case, it is Ctrip or the hotel routine.

I arrived with my septuagenarian parents on April 27 for a week-long stay. The hotel provided us with the right room classification on arrival, but I was concerned that the suite was single bathroom instead of two and the closet space was not optimal for our needs. Annamaria, Victoria and Samuele stand out as front office staff who listened and acted swiftly to help address our request for help and resolved the issue the next day. That was the first wow moment of our stay. I also recommend the breakfast (came with our reservation package) and you should take advantage of the Rooftop Bar, the view of the Duomo and across the city 360 degress is suberb. After 10+ visits to Florence, this hotel has become my new preferred location and I anticipate returning here in the years to come.

This is a lovely, clean hotel with good facilities and location and an excellent breakfast. It has a very traditional decor, with a modern bathroom. Our room was pleasant enough but the window faced a wall and had huge shutters which we couldn't open. Hence, there was hardly any natural light in the room. I also found the staff a bit unfriendly, especially at the reception desk. There was no greeting if you walked past, and they did seem slightly condescending - not the usual friendliness you would expect on a reception desk. The staff at breakfast were much nicer. I liked this hotel, but a little friendliness and a smile go a long way and would have enhanced our stay.

Exceptional location in relation to all the main attractions of the historic centre. A short distance from the station and a step away from the river Arno. Professional, friendly staff, very helpful and ready to relieve the customer of any problem. The small buffet for the aperitif is excellent, the cocktail and the choice of beers excellent, the breakfast buffet of quality and abundant both in the sweet and in the savory with fresh fruit. Adequate single room with large bathroom. If I really had to find a flaw, I'd say to renew the upholstery even in the same style but a freshen up wouldn't hurt.

I am not writing this type of reviews often, but unfortunately this time I have to in order to reflect the reality about this hotel. Prior to this hotel we stayed at another hotel in Rome also 4-star that we really enjoyed (price level and distance from city center was similar). Firstly, I would like to point out that this hotel, even though it has 4 stars, cannot be considered to be a European-level 4-star hotel at all, at maximum a refurbished 3-star hotel. Given the price and its location, I would like to tell you straight, it is quite expensive for what you get, especially given the further circumstances described below. Secondly, I have not read many negative reviews regarding the noise level, but would like to shed some light on that. Even though we asked for a quiet room, we got the room facing the hotel parking and front road. I cannot say that there was a lot of noise from the road, but you could definitely hear cars from the road. But the biggest problem is the noise insultaion, or more precisely its complete absence. We could hear our neighbours talking in the other room like they were in our room. Our neighbours were awake until late night and we could hear them receiving messages while chatting on the phone and it seemed like the phone was vibrating each time near your ear. There was also noise from outside and other neighbours (it was partially not clear where it was coming from), so overall an awful experience also given the fact that each room has roller blinds and some people are using them at night and each time you can hear the mechanism working (it is quite loud). When people flush in other rooms, it sounds like it starts raining heavily. To sum up, insulation is really bad. Thirdly, the room was furbished at the level of refurbished 3-star hotel, the old hairdriers from the 20th century, only one card key, thus you cannot leave the AC on when you leave the room. Room was not ventilated at all once we arrived, so it was very hot to sleep and smell was not very pleasant. Breakfast at the level of 3-star hotel maximum and they do not let people finish their breakfast telling at 9:55am that you have to leave in 5 minutes since the breakfast time ends at 10am. As a cherry on the tart, when we were leaving we were told that the water in the room was not complimentary when we arrived, even though we did not found anywhere information with pricing of water in the room. When I asked where we could find price list for water in the room, as I belive it should be clearly placed in a visible spot, the person at reception firstly insulted us in Italian (not knowing that we speak Italian) and then just answered arrogantly ”it is in the room”, showing that he does not want to speak with us. Unbelievable and unacceptable behaviour from staff, you are paying them for being treated in such a manner... Overall, I understand that Florence is an expensive and crowded city, but in this instance when we unfortunately had only extremely negativ

The location of the room is good, in the urban area, the room can be considered as a big, very fine hotel! The lobby of the hotel is very stylish. Breakfast dining environment is also good! The layout of the room, a family of three 👨‍👩‍👧 will not be crowded when staying! The child's bed is on the other side of the room. Good space, three suitcases don't feel too crowded! The bathroom space is not small, the shower room is very interesting, it is flexible and retractable! The location is first-class, the environment is very good, the breakfast is comfortable, and the service is absolute. This hotel is really not a good place to go on a business trip, and I like it very much. But the facilities make people feel uncomfortable, although the owner should be sincere. The air conditioning system seems to have cost a lot of money, but guests cannot control it themselves. They need to contact the front desk every time and it starts very slowly, which makes people feel troublesome. The lights in the toilet are so bright that you probably won't be able to sleep if you go to the toilet at night. There were bugs in the room. I saw an electric mosquito coil, but I didn't think it was bedbugs. Fortunately, I didn't find any itching problem after staying for two nights. The front desk clerk checks in and sends you to your room after completing the check-in process. Haha, it feels weird. If the hotel and room facilities are quite satisfactory, you don't need such service. The curtains in the room are also weird. The outermost layer is half-opened. Haha, the shape is unique. The wardrobe is also weird. This is the first time I am so confused about reviewing a hotel. Overall it is good, but I feel that many places are a bit strange. So I canceled my last night's stay and moved to another hotel.

Beds were very comfortable junior suite nice sized. King bed and single bed in a separate area - bathroom in between. The bathroom was nice sized and very well appointed. Shower over the bath and was powerful The only down side in the bathroom was the shower door - it is very short so it didn’t prevent the water going onto the floor. On the first nights - no tissues in the bathroom bed not dressed properly but - saw housekeeping supervisor on duty the following day - different level of room servicing - the sheets changed, tissues in the bathroom, plenty of towels etc. plenty of shower gels/ shampoos and body lotions every day. Such a difference when supervised Breakfast was basic enough with hot scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon and toast. 3 cereals, 3 cakes, and 3 types of croissants 3 juices and 2 T/coffee machines. Plenty of condiments available. We didn’t use the bar or restaurant

Please remove 'B&B' from the name. This is a very nice hotel. One of the best during my travel from Pisa to Venice (by rented car). I was in a bad mood when arriving at the hotel after trying to get there using Google maps. Firenze must be one of the cities in the world with the highest number of one-way roads. After driving in circles for 1,5 hours we found a valet parking at the central station and walked the last 600 meters (or so) to the hotel. Cool air in the lobby. Really friendly and helpful staff. Good in english language. Supported the very best with all our ”stupid” questions. The room was nice and clean. The bed a bit hard, but that's the same all over Italy. The breakfast had it all I could ask for - except espresso in the machine, but you can always have a 'coffee americano' and consider it to be a really huge espresso. And, yes. It's not anything special with this hotel - wherever you are in Italy you will have a lot of bread to eat. Crispy, soft, toasts, buns, muffins, croissants, in pie versions or more but always yummy). We stayed one night only but have to come back and why not to B&B Hotel Firenze Laurus Al Duomo.

Lovely room with a view to the side street. Very clean. Comfortable bed and sheets, blackout curtains, and sound proof (1 block from Ponte Vecchio and my window overlooked the side street with a fair amount of foot/vehicle traffic. Was missing a phone and the water runs not quite cold and not quite hot at the extremes. Front end staff are attentive and available 24/7. Breakfast buffet was really good, staff were welcoming. The best part for me was the rooftop terrace which had really special views; I had coffee and the most perfect chocolate lava cake. Close to the crowds below so if you want to join them you can. Trattoria restaurant a minute walk from the hotel had excellent food and wine. Conad grocery is just across the river, as are two laundromats, and Roberto Coin Jewelery is at this end of the Ponte Vecchio.

The location is excellent, you can walk to the train station and Santa Maria del Fiore Church in less than ten minutes from the hotel. As soon as you enter, you will find that the hotel lobby and dining area are connected. The room decoration is very new, and it can be seen that every part of the room and corridor has been designed with great care. The facilities are generally complete, with USB charging ports on the wall and free drinks in the minibar, which is a better experience for short-stay travelers.
