I recently stayed at the Sheraton Maria Isabel in Mexico City, and overall, it was a good experience. The best thing about this hotel is definitely the location—it’s right on Reforma Avenue, next to the U.S. Embassy, so it felt very safe even though there were some peaceful demonstrations happening nearby related to rent increases and the current situation in Mexico. The room was spacious and comfortable, but it did feel a bit old and outdated. The bathroom floor had some cracks, which wasn’t a big issue but worth mentioning. It could definitely use some renovation in the future. On the bright side, the breakfast was really nice. Good variety, fresh options, and great service. If you care about being in a central, secure area with decent amenities, this hotel is a solid choice—just don’t expect a modern, freshly renovated space.

The lobby is very beautiful, and the staff are excellent. It has the best location, situated between the historic center and Reforma. The hotel's service far exceeds the room rate. Book without hesitation! For premium rooms, complimentary snacks and alcohol are available from 6 PM to 8 PM on the 12th floor. Water, tea, coffee, and cookies are always available.

Highly recommend this hotel after a two-night stay! The breakfast restaurant upstairs overlooks Constitution Square, and the dinner service is always busy. The hotel staff are professionally trained and provide excellent service. There's unlimited complimentary drinking water, and the lobby offers free, endless drinks, pizza, milk, and fruit – enough to cover two meals for those with smaller appetites! The room size is just right, the mattress is comfortable and large enough for a family of 3-4 people. The bathroom is very well maintained. It's an older hotel, but its quality is definitely online thanks to excellent upkeep. The breakfast, which is quite Western-style, was the same both days I was there. Booking in advance offers a slightly better value for money, so I definitely recommend it!

The biggest plus for the hotel is its location. The service is also pretty good and staff is friendly. But the hotel is rather dated. The carpet is old and worn. The AC is very load and we had to turn it off at night. The worst part is water- the water flow is so low it is hard to wash face. Another potential downside is this area is very busy at night. The music on the street can be heard from our 10th floor room. But if you come prepared with earplugs then you are OK.

We enjoyed our 3 nights stay at PF hotel & suites. The young guy doing night shift at check in counter gave the best service! We checked in at 3 a.m on 20 November. , he saw our taxi and promptly came to open the entrance door for us. We saw him on different evenings and he was always smiling. The hotel housekeeping did a splendid job! The room was very clean. The furnishings and furniture might be a bit dated, but at such a convenient location, this hotel is highly recommended at this affordable rate. There are great Korean gimbab & fried chicken little shop right next to the hotel if you crave Asian food. A short walk away, there are several local Mexican restsurants, cafes and street food stalls.

The police cars in Mexico City sound the alarm all night to crack down on crimes, which also disturbs the public. In short, the culture is there, but the development is indeed backward. The English penetration rate is average. If you don’t know Spanish, you won’t be able to survive in Mexico. However, Chinese brands are doing well in Mexico, and there are advertisements of Chinese brands everywhere.
