Though the hotel was old and with outdated furnishings, it still had a pleasant charm. Short walk to the main street and close to the cable car and bus station. The view from the room was very beautiful, though it lacked privacy as all the balconies were connected and no walls between. The sound proofing wasn't great as it was easy to hear people next to us. Also, the air conditioner felt like it could only go to 28° and was still very hot at night. Breakfast was nice and service was good, overall. We were sad to hear that the pool wasn't available, but they had arrangements for a beach and shuttle, that was appreciated. I don't think I would book here again though.

Location is great, you can walk from there to the city center, take the cable car to go to the beach. And the pool is fantastic. The view from the room is stunning. Parking is available but not really cheap (20€ a day). Breakfast is a ‘continental’ one. I wish they included more typical Sicilian products on top of the international eggs and bacon. Also the toilets are extremely noisy, you’ll hear your neighbour flushing the toilet. All in all a pleasant stay

The actual room is not good with photos, and it should not be counted as four stars at all. The advantage is that it has its own parking lot, the waiter is very enthusiastic, close to the cable car. Next time you should park your car in the parking lot on the mountainside, there is a free shuttle bus to the small town of Taormina on the top of the mountain, there are many good hotels there.

Overlooking the Ionian Sea, the Grand Hotel San Pietro is a beautiful hotel with landscaped gardens and excellent amenities. The staff are extremely courteous and helpful and the rooms are well appointed and very comfortable.  Located within a 10-15 minute walk of the shopping and sightseeing area of Taormina, makes this 5 Star hotel an excellent choice.  The staff, as mentioned, are very courteous and helpful - and it is quite easy to become friends with them. Infact, Christian and Loretta (who work in the bar area during the evenings) are 2 staff members that I highly commend - not only for their service but for the exceptional time we spent with them.  This hotel is highly recommended and I certainly look forward to returning in the not too distant future.

The location and the view of the hotel are impeccable and the rooms have unrivaled sea and mountain views. The facilities are actually very good, but the strange bathroom shower head design makes the bath extremely awkward. The hotel is the old grand theatre, and it is the town that continues to go down. The distances are just right. The beach is not good, but the beaches in southern Italy are the same. It is the kind of large-grained sandstone beach, which is very ground. The only thing that I feel dissatisfied is that the Italians are really too playable. The party is still playing music loudly at 12:30 in the evening. It is not a complaint that it is estimated that it will not be closed several times. Parking is also a bit difficult, we all parked in the parking lot lumbi garage about 2 km away, and then take the shuttle bus, convenient.

You can see the ancient Greek theater on the top floor, and it is only a 1-minute walk to the central street of the ancient city. The hotel is located halfway up the mountain, with beautiful scenery along the way. Since it is off-season, you don't need to worry about ZTL if you drive there in February, but the hotel villas and pool restaurant areas will not be open until March or April. The hotel apartment area is a separate building not far from the villa. Although it is an apartment, it is the most beautiful room I have stayed in Sicily. Extra large space, a big bed facing the sea, a balcony with sea views and Mount Etna at the same time, waking up from the bed every day will have the best mood. The hotel staff is very friendly and enthusiastic, providing butler-style service, helping us move the car, check in, carry luggage, and take the initiative to introduce hotel facilities and surrounding attractions. The pink sunset in Taormina is the best welcome gift for this trip.

We spent a fantastic week in this hotel. It was amazing to have direct access to a beautiful private beach as well as an infinity pool. There were plenty of loungers to relax. The location was great, right on the sea side and close to the train station. The shuttle service provided by the hotel that takes you into Taormina was also excellent. The staff were all super friendly too. However I felt that there was a lack of affordable meal options and the breakfast offering became monotonous after some days. Overall a very special place that I look forward to returning to one day.

Because the hotel I booked was under renovation, the hotel concierge on Ctrip helped me switch to another hotel in the same group, Hotel Villa Ducale, and even helped me get an upgrade. Ctrip's hotel concierge deserves 100 points! Upon arrival, I was upgraded to a super spacious suite, which was fantastic. The room was elegant, and every staff member was incredibly warm and friendly. The breakfast was also delicious. A truly perfect stay!

The ocean view is really heartfelt. To get to the city center, you have to walk and then take the cable car. Personally think the hotel is fine, but just a little old. The main reason is that the price is not good. Sorry for the price of 2000 nights (late October, out of high season). Lower than expected. Reasonable price 1200.

We had the best time. Lucia was amazing as all the staff were. The hotel was clean, and service was beyond expectations. The staff assisted with reservations and offered recommendations when asked.
