The small courtyard is very clean. The living room and corridors of the house are also very clean. The furniture and appliances in the guest rooms are not very new but they are complete. The sheets and quilts are not new. I found a small piece of white plastic strips from under the quilt and dirty strips. Fortunately, I brought sheets and quilts, so I made do with it all night.

I invited friends to three families of 14 people, young and old, to experience Simatai Great Wall Villa, single-family villa hot spring pool, constant temperature bathing water is the children's favorite, the viewing platform has excellent visual scenery, Gubei Water Town and Simatai Great Wall have unobstructed views, Watching the drone group at night in the sky is endless aftertaste, the experience of karaoke and barbecue in the small courtyard is super cool, all feel that this homestay is great, I have not lived enough, I have to go again at a time.

During the Spring Festival in 2023, the three families gathered here. There are commonly used pots and utensils in the room, and there are safety issues, so the food and seasonings at the entrance are brought. We made our own food and it was very comfortable. The children played together in the room. Close to Gubei Water Town, you can drive to the ticketing hall near. The next day, visit the temple fair in Gubei. The heated pool in the yard, worried about the cold at first, was actually quite warm.

The homestay is located halfway up the mountain, and the restaurant on the second floor upstairs overlooks half of the village. The yard is very carefully taken care of, and the boss also presented breakfast. Breakfast is an ordinary farmhouse meal, which is very comfortable to eat. The only downside is that the sound insulation of the room is a bit poor, it is best to bring your own earplugs.

Traveling to Beijing for a business trip, I needed a hotel close to Tiananmen Square and 1949 The Hidden City (Quanjude). As an InterContinental Platinum member, I used to stay at the Regent, but now I've switched to the Legendale. The location is excellent, it offers great value for money, and I was pleasantly surprised with a suite upgrade. The amenities in the room are high quality, no expense spared, giving off a vibe of upward mobility. The breakfast fruit was delicious, and the room itself was very well-maintained. My only minor complaint is that the hairdryer isn't a newer model; I hope they can update it soon.

This was our first trip to Beijing with the kids, and we chose the Family Suite at Sofitel Beijing. The hotel's location is excellent, just a 5-minute walk to Jianguomen subway station, making it super convenient to transfer between Line 1 and Line 2. Both the front desk and restaurant staff were incredibly attentive. Seeing that we had two children, they kindly offered complimentary breakfast for them and made every effort to accommodate our requests regarding our stay. The room itself was spacious, 80 square meters, featuring a 1.8m king-size bed and a 1.6m sofa bed. It also had a dining area with a round table and a separate relaxation area with a small coffee table. The bathroom boasted a massive circular bathtub, which the kids absolutely loved! The housekeeping staff, Zhou Xiuling, Su Nannan, and their supervisor Feng Jun, provided exceptional service. They replenished our amenities promptly and were very responsive to our needs. We'll definitely choose Sofitel Beijing again on our next visit!

This business trip stay far exceeded my expectations! The hotel is right by the subway, just a few minutes' walk to my office, and there are convenience stores and restaurants all around. Here I am again, after less than a month! This time I even braved a heavy downpour to get here. My flight circled over Beijing for an hour before landing, so I didn't get to the hotel until after midnight. It was another one of those check-in and check-out on the same day trips. I was already feeling pretty groggy, but thankfully, Bella at the front desk was incredibly warm and enthusiastic. She handled everything super quickly and thoughtfully, getting me checked in no time. Once I got to the room, I even bothered the staff to open and close the window for me. They made two trips late at night – I'm really grateful, though I regret not catching their names. This time, my room had an even better view! When I woke up in the morning, the sun was even out, and my mood instantly brightened, just like the weather. I got back late from lunch, but luckily, they extended my check-out time. By the way, I once again ran into the ever-elegant Ms. Rose Xiao. She checked out my room card for me at the very last minute. This trip was truly a whirlwind. As expected, after the storm, there's always sunshine! (I hope I got both employees' names right; I always worry about misspelling them.)

Very special is this hotel very family friendly, the have connecting room for the family to stay in, for us, we can take care of our girls without open the door and go to another room. The daily housekeeping was very thorough. The female housekeeper responsible for our rooms 715 and 716 was particularly friendly, attentive, and responsible. My daughter accidentally spilled soy milk on the carpet and bed; I informed her, and she promised to handle it. When we returned to the room that evening, the carpet and bed were spotless, without any smell or stains. We were very satisfied with the hotel's service. We will stay in this hotel again when we go to Beijing again.

Although the hotel was a bit far from tourist attractions, it actually allowed us to take less popular routes, avoiding the crowds.
