The location is very good, on the edge of the Songhua River, the balcony is large, the river view is spectacular The room was clean and tidy and comfortable. The landlord was very careful. The bathroom supplies were arranged very well. The toothbrush was very soft. Alcohol wet tissues were also provided. The quilt in the room was very soft and clean. The children liked to live here. The room exceeded expectations. As soon as I entered the door, I was like returning home. The space was large and clean. The children liked it very much. It was very convenient to walk for a few minutes to Central Street. The host was very enthusiastic, very meticulous and thoughtful. I didn’t understand anything. I explained it patiently. The cost-effective choice for large families near Central Street is much more convenient and warm than the surrounding hotels opening 2-3 rooms at the same time. The house is clean, and the restaurants recommended by the owner are very authentic. Downstairs is Central Street and Shangzhi Street. It is very convenient to take a bus and eat.

The woman hotel staff had a translator device, which made conversing with them possible. I can see the effort of all the staff in the helping us to the best of their abilities. This was probably our most favorite part of our harbin trip. My advice is to take the tour they have at the restaurant. It will be both worth it and memorable! I loved it here! Perfect accommodation

They even upgraded us to a family room, which was much more spacious. We also received a complimentary afternoon tea and were allowed a late check-out. This hotel, over a century old, boasts a rich historical ambiance with its Tsarist Russian court design. The lobby is resplendent and dazzling, featuring crystal chandeliers, oil paintings, wine cabinets, and an ornate wrought-iron garden, all showcasing the luxury of the Russian aristocracy. I even donned a 19th-century outfit to experience what it felt like to be a Countess. The hotel service was impeccable. Upon check-in, someone immediately guided us on a tour and provided explanations, including a ride in the century-old elevator. Our luggage was delivered directly to our room, and they were incredibly accommodating, helping us take photos in the court costumes without any hesitation. When we checked out, they even brought our bags to the car – truly doorstep service, highly commendable! This is a highly recommended hotel that is well worth experiencing.

This is an old hotel with very cramped rooms, especially the bathroom, where two people can barely turn around when opening and closing the door. The bedding was nice though. Breakfast was plentiful, and the pickled cabbage buns were incredibly delicious! We all agreed it was the best breakfast among all the hotels we stayed at on this trip. The location is super convenient; turn left out of the hotel and walk three or four minutes to Shanghai Road Metro Station, making it easy to get to Zhongjie Street and Chinese Baroque. The only downside is that the facilities are quite old.

As the only hotel in Harbin that can truly be called a bit luxurious, it generally lives up to its reputation. The location, rooms, service, and amenities are all quite good. Bottled water is provided upon request, and the lotus decoration at the entrance is also very unique. The decor style is more simple and bright, a stark contrast to the Ritz-Carlton Tianjin where I stayed a few days ago – both are good in their own way. However, getting in and out of the hotel isn't very convenient, especially if you want to cross the road to the Songhua River. You have to navigate a really awkward traffic light intersection; the red light is very long, and even when it's green, there are cars turning right at high speed, which makes you quite nervous. The city view rooms have a poor outlook, filled with crowded, matchbox-like buildings with hardly any greenery. There's only one stool and one armchair in the room, which isn't very convenient. There's also a heating vent on the windowsill, so I was hesitant to put my phone there for fear of it falling off.

It's not far from the Northeast Tiger Park and Sun Island Polar Aquarium, and ride-hailing services are very convenient. We stayed on the 22nd floor, and the staff were very welcoming, promptly cleaning our room. Their smiles were very helpful! A very pleasant stay; Harbin is great!

Before arriving in Harbin, when booking a hotel, besides location and facilities, my main concern was whether there was a pool for kids. After much deliberation among several star-rated hotels, I finally chose Shangri-La Songbei. It turned out to be the absolute best decision of our Harbin-Yichun trip. The most surprising thing? It has to be the hotel's window view! We gasped the moment we entered the room – it was simply stunning! How could there be such a large window, such a beautiful view of the Songhua River, and such a perfect hotel? This scene made us never want to leave the room; just quietly sitting by the window and enjoying the scenery was enough. Next, let's talk about the hotel's service, which was also top-notch! We had an early flight back to Beijing on our departure day. We had booked a room with breakfast, but since we had to leave by 6 AM, we wouldn't be able to enjoy it. So, when checking in, I asked the front desk if there was a solution. The hotel offered a incredibly thoughtful plan: they prepared simple packed meals for us to take away. When we checked out, I saw three bags for the three of us, and each bag contained three packed containers with fruits, pastries, eggs, sausages, and more – it was so comprehensive! Who wouldn't love such a considerate hotel? Finally, one more thing: there aren't many dining options near the hotel. There's only one dumpling restaurant across the road. We navigated there, walked around for a long time, and just as we were about to give up, we discovered a hidden gem of a restaurant nearby called 'Dufu Smoked & Sauced Dumpling Longjiang Cuisine.' I highly recommend this restaurant too! The dishes are diverse, delicious, and affordably priced. It's truly a treasure! I'm already planning to replicate this experience with Shangri-La Songbei and Dufu Restaurant on my next trip to Harbin – I'm so excited to plan my next Harbin itinerary just for them! 😘

Overall, my experience was just okay. No one from the staff called us before check-in. And they followed up right after check-out! The air conditioning in the room was leaking and making strange noises. The shower pressure was weak, and the shower head wasn't stable. The pool facilities were outdated; my child cut their hand twice on the old tiles.

The breakfast was plentiful! It's rare to find a hotel where breakfast goes until 12 PM, which is perfect for young travelers. There's also afternoon tea. The hotel's surroundings are beautiful, and it's convenient for dining, entertainment, and shopping. The service was excellent; the parking attendant and the restaurant staff were all incredibly friendly. Harbin truly lives up to its reputation for hospitality. The hotel is located right by the Songhua River, with the cable car to cross the river directly across the street, and it's just a few minutes' walk to Central Street. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

The room is clean. Fruits are delivered in the evening. It is very convenient to go shopping at MixC. It is close to the subway station. There is a large parking lot. The breakfast is rich in variety. The facilities are complete. The service is also great. 025 I will choose this place again when I come to Harbin for business.
