The room is average, old. The room alone is not worth 1700. There is no need to spend money to stay here, you can walk in to the bar, Thai restaurant, Indian restaurant, afternoon tea, and you can pay with cash or credit card. You can enter all places by punching in. Many people come here to punch in and eat and then stay in other hotels. I think the hill club next door is a good substitute, they are all old houses anyway. Save 1000 yuan and do anything you want, rich people can do whatever they want. The black people here are completely different from the Chinese and white people. When white people check in, they will take you on a hotel tour and introduce you. The black person who took us to the room had a cold face the whole time, and of course I wouldn't give you the tip I prepared if you gave me a face. The hotel has a check-out time of 11 o'clock, please note this. I agreed to 12 o'clock, and he called me at 11:30 to ask me to check out, otherwise I would be fined 5000 rupees...haha

The scenery of the hotel is absolutely perfect! When I ordered it, I didn’t expect it to be so beautiful when I saw the picture! The room size is average but the view is worth it! The butler also took us to visit the vegetable garden at the back. The ingredients in the hotel are all grown in this vegetable garden.

We are family of three. Two adults and one child. We were given 2 single beds. My husband and child had to sleep on the floor. We couldn't put the beds together as it was fixed. Couldnt get another room as they were full. The room was overdone. Two dressing tables , two big arm chairs, dining table & chairs etc., big spacious room but too many furniture making it uncomfortable. When we informed the front office manager , he said it wont happen next time. Well, we are not too sure if qe wont to stay here though.

It's said to be a British-style hotel, but it doesn't even have a garden. There's no hairdryer in the room, so I had to call to get one. There are relatively few breakfast varieties. The worst thing is the location and environment. There is a road just outside the hotel, and there is not even a place to walk. However, the hotel's service is warm, so I give it five points in this regard.

The hotel is ok for folks passing through town. It has the feel of a B&B but the service of a hotel. Staff was friendly. The room was clean but dimly lit. The bedding had some stains and was a bit tattered. The temp got pretty cold at night but that is just a warning to anyone traveling in Nuwara Eliya and not a reflection on the hotel. I saw some of the other rooms they had and those were much better. We stayed in the Rose room, which they said was the delux room, but the other rooms looked much nicer. Breakfast was nice. This is a no frills hotel. Not luxury but still pretty good.

Especially good this place is perfect. In fact, I live in a villa, there is a housekeeper, especially good, and the food I eat is also very good. I lived for two days and drink the sea food soup every day. It was delicious and the room was especially clean. It was obvious that it was an old house, but it was really clean and it was very cheap. We two people, the appetizer, the soup, the staple food, and ate 155. The service is so good, the butler is very polite and gentle. Breakfast needs to be selected the night before. The butler also asked us if we need the menu of the main building there. He can get it back in 5 minutes, but I chose to eat here because I want to drink sea food soup. I will come out and ask what is the taste, delicious, really. I really like this place, quiet and fresh. Because I had to get up early in the Horton Plain, I told the butler the first day to take breakfast. It’s a great place to take a lot of photos, but unfortunately only 9 photos.

The building was nice and the room was large and the staff was great. The location is also convenient, 15 minutes drive from the station and 5 minutes walk from the bus terminal. The shower is cold only with repeated hot water and water. The room also has no air conditioning, so it gets cold at night. It is still good if you have a blanket and slippers.

I recently stayed at this hotel and while there were some positives, a few key issues made the experience less than ideal. 🌄 Scenic Beauty No doubt, the view from the property is stunning — easily one of its strongest features. Whether it’s sunrise or sunset, the surroundings offer a peaceful and picturesque escape. 🛏️ Room Quality The rooms were decent: clean, comfortable, and functional. Not luxurious, but good enough for a short stay. A few upgrades in decor or amenities could elevate the experience. 🍽️ Food Concerns Unfortunately, the food was a major letdown. After breakfast, I experienced stomach pain that felt like food poisoning. It’s hard to say for certain, but the timing and symptoms suggest the meal may have been the cause. This was disappointing and concerning, especially given the importance of food safety in hospitality. ⚖️ Overall Impression The hotel has potential — great views and acceptable rooms — but the food experience seriously affected my stay. I hope they take steps to improve kitchen hygiene and food quality going forward.

This hotel in Nuvo was the one I was most looking forward to during the whole trip. After that, I was deeply attracted by the shape of the house. It was really beautiful! The room is also pretty good, super retro! Even the facilities are a bit old, and the sound insulation is not good. People outside the room can hear them. As for dinner and breakfast, they were eaten in a building next to the hotel, and they walked in the rain, making me tremble with frost! Hahaha hotel has a waiter who is very handsome, looks pretty European and American! Yes, there is a fireplace in the lobby. It's warm!

It is a bit far from the city center. It is a very British-style hotel. The small garden is beautifully trimmed, the room is clean, and there is a balcony. It faces the tea garden. It is quiet at night and the air is fresh in the morning. I like this hotel. The hotel provides a buffet dinner with many varieties. Breakfast is also a buffet, with not many varieties. Very good British service.
