At the bottom of the town on the Main Street in front of Shell petrol station is located the information centre. Here you can obtain a free map of Margaret River with all the places you can visit during your stay. Caves, wineries, restaurants , beach’s, etc.
Across the road on the intersection of Bovell and Bussell Highway every Saturday from 8:00am to 12:00pm is the Farmers Market. It is a lovely place to get some fresh local produce and enjoy a coffee. If you fell like dance, the Settlers Tavern do a live band every Saturday from 9:30pm and some days during the week .If you fell like something more trendy , Swings is your place. The best of all is the distance!You can walk everywhere !!!

The name Anunaka, The word "Anunaka" means "ours" in an Indigenous Australian language, and reflects the connection of country, nature and the environment that surrounds our home. The heart of the home is our fully equipped and beautifully designed kitchen. Whether you are hosting a dinner party, feeding the family and / or friends in the home, or simply preparing a casual cheese board, you'll find everything you need, including extensive chef-quality cookware, elegant serving platters with a great variety of glassware, where you can enjoy cooking together while staying connected with family and friends. Located in Margaret River, Constellation Apartments is a 1-minute drive from Margaret River Visitors Centre and 6 minutes from Margaret River Golf Club. Beautiful self-contained mud brick studio in an enclosed courtyard with a pretty cottage garden on a working farm. Unique country getaway for a couple with a comfortable king size bed with an electric blanket, large screen smart TV, wifi, kitchen and bathroom. Bed linen and towels are provided. There is a DVD player with an extensive DVD collection, games, jigsaws and books. There is also a table tennis table and some lawn games including bocce and finska. The bathroom is adjacent to the studio and has a separate entrance. Please note that there may be frogs in the bathroom from time to time so please take this into consideration before you book.

There are many places to relax in the garden which has a frog pond with a fountain and many different species of birds including white breasted robins, honey eaters, red winged wrens and splendid wrens. There are several rocking chairs, two outdoor settings and a firepit next to the lawn which is a lovely place to unwind and watch the sun set on the marri trees in the evening. Both the courtyard and the patio area near the firepit have festoon lighting which provides a nice ambience.

The studio is named for my mother, well known local watercolour artist, Patricia Negus as it used to be her art studio. The main residence will occasionally be occupied by the owner but it shouldn't impact your stay in the studio. Dogs are welcome but there is an additional pet fee. We are very well located only about ten minutes from Witchcliffe or Margaret River. Witchcliffe is a delightful little town to visit with lots of interesting shops and eating places.

There is another house on the property, a weatherboard settlers cottage called Swallows Cottage that sleeps 7 people and is also available to book on Stayz. Swallows Cottage is a lovely renovated original settlers cottage on a working farm that is well located 3 km from Margaret River in a peaceful rural setting away from the holiday crowds. If you book the cottage then it will be exclusively yours for the duration of your stay.

The cottage has 4 bedrooms (sleeps 7), lounge, kitchen dining, bathroom, separate toilet and laundry plus two outdoor dining areas.

Bathroom with original cast iron bathtub, shower over bath, hairdryer. Separate toilet.
A lovely front verandah with four rocking chairs and an outdoor setting overlooking a native garden and paddocks with cattle, sheep and occasionally flocks of wild emus. There is fantastic bird watching, over 45 species of birds have been identified including blue wrens, golden whistlers and robins.
There is another entertaining area with a BBQ and hammock at the back of the house.
Child friendly: toy basket, books, videos and games for children of all ages, ride on toys and bikes in the shed for young children.
The laundry has a washing machine, washing powder, dryer, ironing board and iron.
Two portable electric fans and an electric oil heater are available.
Ample parking.

Swallows Cottage is 8 km/10 mins from Margaret River and 5km/7 mins from Witchcliffe which has a road house/post office, liquor store, cafe and gift shops.

Welcome to your peaceful retreat in Margaret River. Our stylish, modern one-bedroom unit, modern design, open plan bathroom, is just 1.5 km from the town centre a pleasant 15-minute walk to cafés, restaurants, and local art galleries, and only a 10-minute drive to some of the region’s most iconic beaches and wineries. Ideal for couples or solo travellers looking for convenience, comfort, and charm.

The studio is privately located at the rear of our main residence, accessible via a secure garden entrance. Please note that access involves a few steps and an uneven gravel path, so it may not be suitable for guests with mobility challenges, including those using walking sticks, wheelchairs, or the elderly.

We’re pet-friendly. One small well-behaved pet is welcome per stay (pet fee: $100). While the property offers a lovely outdoor space and a nearby dog park within walking distance, the yard is not fully enclosed. For safety, pets must be leashed at all times in shared or unfenced areas. Property owners are not responsible for missing dogs on grounds. Dogs need to be quiet at all times.

As your hosts, we live at the front of the property and are available should you need assistance with local tips, wine tours, transport options, or anything else to make your stay more enjoyable. Our friendly dachshund also calls this place home and loves to say hello.
