The location is perfect, close to OMR, ECR, and easy access to city. The hotel is immaculate with beautiful aroma while entering. The rooms are really large 484ft². If you are smokers, you would need to upgrade to a balcony room as the property is a non-smoking environment. The beds are extremely comfortable, and the sheets are perfect. Each room has a comfortable couch for a work station. The kitchenette is available to use at an additional 3000 inr extra. The dishwasher is available for use. Bathroom is very spacious, and not to mention TAJ Soaps.. Pool, Gymnasium, steam and sauna are complimentary.

The apartment is very convenient, it may take a long time to build and the facilities are not very new. The service staff is very enthusiastic, helping to get luggage, deliver things, check in and check out quickly. The restaurant is on the first floor, and the taste from the lobby to the entrance of the restaurant is too Indian. Breakfast is ok, because I usually only make oat milk, I do n’t eat Indian meals and do n’t comment on the taste. The service attitude is very good and very welcoming. The emphasis is on exaggerating the Asian restaurants in the same courtyard. The names are shown in the picture. The environment is very good. Recommend beef and chicken wings, according to their own requirements of spicy degree, more in line with my taste. Tiramisu is fine too. Overall satisfaction.

The Taj Cormandel was a fantastic hotel and stay for us on our recent trip to Chennai. We were made welcome from the minute we stepped out of the cab. All staff are very helpful and friendly but Amit from the Chipstead deserves a special mention for his outstanding customer service and welcoming manner. Rooms were large and very comfortable. Housekeeping and services were top notch, plentiful large towels and hot water, plus some housekeeping surprises we enjoyed on our stay. Breakfasts were buffet style with lots of choice and culinary types, service was very well organised and any special breakfast requests delivered to your table.   Choice of restaurants for having dinner and a lounge for drinks and cocktails.  Swimming pool with outside loungers and fitness room are on the lower ground area of the hotel. Towels provided. Would recommend a stay here.

I had a comfortable stay here in terms of service and hospitality. The staff were courteous. As far as the facility is concerned the room walls looked old and missing the appeal to qualify it as a 5 star hotel. I could clearly smell wood whenever I walk in the room and the bath area is quite small and not tidy. The food tasted decent but the options in the buffet are quite limited compared to other 5 star hotels. I would not recommend picking this hotel if you are truly looking for the comforts of a 5 star

I would definitely return here. Overall, very good value for money.   The breakfast daily and the staff were truly exceptional.  The room was good, everything worked and in-room dining that is 24/7, was excellent.  We arrived at 2am and the food, at that time, for famished travellers was truly appreciated. Thank you Holiday Inn.  You have excellent staff and hope you are valuing them.  Staff farewelled us on our last day!!   I did not give five stars for cleanliness as the toilet seats could/ should be cleaned better.

This place has some inconveniences for foreigners. There's no refrigerator, no indoor slippers, no shower in the bathroom, no toothpaste, and no hairdryer. Cleanliness: The floor was dusty and dirty, but the sheets and pillows were clean. Location, Accessibility: It's close to the center of T-Nagar, making it easy to get around. There's a McDonald's nearby, but it closes at midnight. Restaurants and small shops in the area also close before 12 AM. Staff Service: Not bad. The card-operated door has a damaged outer casing.

Overall, the hotel is good and the staff are polite and welcoming. The evening 6:30 PM carnatic music combine with fire show was especially beautiful and truly enjoyable. However, there are a few areas where improvement is needed: There was no response from the Palace service number. I tried calling 3–4 times on 19th February at around 9:45 AM, but no one answered. On 20th February at 6:15 AM, I requested a scissor or knife to cut the tag from my dress. No one turned up for about 15 minutes, and I had to change my outfit and leave by 6:32 AM. The breakfast spread was very vast with a wide variety of options, which was impressive. However, the masala tea was very disappointing. It seemed like masala was simply mixed into regular tea. In India, masala tea is prepared authentically and is refreshing, giving a great start to the day. The taste and preparation could definitely be improved. Overall, the stay was pleasant, but attention to these details would significantly enhance the guest experience. Thank you
